Hy, I made a stock specified apk with framwork-res apk and i will make a lot of signed framework-res apk (without) swipe text and (with) crt animation..
First time I added my framework-res.
My android version is XXLM6
If you want a signed framework for your device, post to me your version and i will compile apk to you, that you can patch your original one.
(I want to help to "you" to make a nice "screen", this thread for that.if you don't know why...)

And you find testing side of the work, it's own your risk, if you install the "beta" packages...

Hi Bro... it is actually Blacknotes Hybrid 1st Gen , The CRT animation doesn't work maybe this rom is a really fast rom , I've try Blacknotes 2nd gen. but encounter auto restart , Force close and sometime it just shut down without notice .... so I return to 1st gen. (is the most stable rom for me) but the only things not working is the CRT... I really like the animation , anyway thanks for your time bro.. Cheers

I have recompiled the webkit files for our SGS2 to support arabic shaping. This thread will serve to help you folks arabize (shaping arabic texts) any deodexed rom out there (well, except MIUI based ones).
Framework.jar (and libwebcore.so):
patching framework.jar will give you arabic shaping + RTL support everywhere except the browser and gmail, while patching libwebcore.so will give you RTL + arabic shaping support in the Browser + Gmail apps.

This file is responsible for shaping arabic texts in the Browser and Gmail apps. Just replace the file in /system/lib with this one and you should get arabic shaping out of the box. You'll need root to change this file.

This file is required for our phone. Not using it will give you spacing issues when displaying arabic text.
Note that you can't use any arabic font on the galaxy s2. This will most definitely crash your browser+gmail app. Use only stock samsung fonts or this one (my own ):
Place the file in /system/fonts/ and reboot.

root is most definitely required to do any of that stuff. (i also mentioned it in the first post )

just install the zip in recovery and the current theme will be overwritten..

it doesn't work on optimized V1. i have try it and the phone is getting on-off, on-off, on-off...........

I just ran out of idea when know about this sammy' crap...they just want all of their user staring on that shiny glamorous corporate logo when booting their device..they wanna told us tgat "this is a samsung device".!really..i just annoy with that bootanimation..

Just go into this directory using file manager that has root privileges like,root explorer,es explorer, etc... copy that file and paste to ur desired directory in sd card.

/system/framework/
SystemUI-apk;
/system/app/
Just like that...if that answer refer to u question .if not,ignore me..

just thought i'd drop in and post some lockrings for everyone. I was originally creating them for myself, but now i've found that i enjoy making stuff for other people! they are ALL zipthemer zips so please download the app and then open the zip and apply with metamorph! and no i will not convert it nto a flashable zip... you can do that if you want but i've already made them metas/zipthemer friendly.
they are for AOSP ROM's only, so no Sense roms, no Xperia roms, only things like gummy, AOKP, CM, etcetc.
I will update this forum periodically as i am mainly a Galaxy Nexus user, but don't worry, the lockrings are both hdpi and xhdpi.
** IGNORE IT IF IT SAYS IT IS CHANGING THE LOCKSCREEN WEATHER IN METAMORPH, THAT IS A TYPO** it only changes the lockring ic_lockscreen_handle_normal and ic_lockscreen_handle_pressed
**DOES NOT WORK WITH TABLET MODE**
please nandroid if you don't know 100% what you're doing or how to recover otherwise.
the other option is to pull your framework-res.apk in /system/framework/ to your computer and then if you get a bootloop you can always adb push it back.

- USE THE SEARCH FUNCTION.
- ALWAYS MAKE A NANDROID or have one on hand to fall back. I cannot stress this enough, especially if you are a newb and this is your first time flashing a theme / using metamorph
- alternatively, if you know what you're doing, just pull the framework-res.apk from /system/framework/ BEFORE you apply the theme and if you get a bootloop just push it back from recovery.

i totally borked my phone and its in a bootloop QQ what do i do?
if you're running the proper rom and you followed all the instructions properly then pull the battery and reboot. it is normal for a random reboot to happen when you first apply it. metamorph talks all about it in its warning to you.
I did what you said but it still bootlooping... the world is over.
either nandroid or restore your framework from recovery. and then try redownloading the zip and reapplying. sometimes people get bad downloads... so dont fret.
i have followed all the previous steps and my lockring isn't applying... YOUR LOCKRINGS ARE BROKEN!
probably not, as 99% of them have been tried and tested. make sure you don't have a theme applied, if you do, use zipthemer to apply the lockring isntead.

They should be fine.
Always Nandroid backup first when changing any framework, just in case.
When you apply the theme in Metamorph, just be patient and wait for a reboot prompt. Sometimes it looks as if the process has crashed or hanged.

On skyrocket cm9 I opened metamorph and it says "metamorph cound not extract or find the Zip binary and therefore will not work" is there a special place you are supposed to put these dowloaded zips or is my phone just not compatible? Thanks

Ok... You partially edited your OP, but you should also remove the download links and change Subject from "How To" to [REQ]. People will update their SystemUI and this will negatively affect many other icons & things.
And if anyone wants to try this (as the OP hasnt) rename original SystemUI to a .bak

I've already done this (but i didnt follow the OP's guide) and it works. Just gotta decompile your own SystemUI.apk and replace the pngs as well as the xml that draws the batter icons.

Just got back in town... anyone try flashing this zip? Or am I currently committing the act of guinea pig? lol

Works like a champ. I already modded my statusbar to be transparent. This battery looks great on it.

Are you talking about the one i made? And statusbar seems to go transparent if you are in the TouchWiz launcher or on the locksceen by default too. I also modded my own to allow me to "Swipe away" the stupid battery full notification.

I had a feeling that might happen. It happens when things aren't signed. Let me try to sign the apk for you and see if it works. It may just do the same thing. But its worth a shot.
Flash attached zip again in recovery. Restore your nandroid first though.

Yes I do. It's signature verification. It checks the certificates of the apk and since they are different then original, it denies that app all permissions, which it needs in order to run. So flashing the modded apk, then factory reset, should reset the "stored" signatures.

Factory reset and still no working,
I was playing and i was able to create SystemUI.apk that show the Circle battery in the phone but the % are not working (go from 100 to 87, 71, 57 etc) . I change the sys_bat and the sys_bat_charg xml to 1% but nothing,
If you don't mind can I post the apk for you to check what i did wrong?

So factory reset fixed the no status bar issue AND SystemUI force close issue? But the percentages aren't working?
Can you post a screenshot?
I was on evil1art modded mdl rom. I had flashed the transparent status bar mod. Then I flashed your first zip. I had no issues & it is still working fine. Hope this helps your trouble shooting.

Best thing to do is to wait for DeathZeroFx to solve exactly which parts of xperia x are needed and makes a full guide as this needs to be implemented into services.jars and framework.jars by devs that have already modded them and cannot be flashed over modded ones as this is causing many of the bootloops.

@Pandemic and I have been working relentlessly to fix Smart Cleaner for our Z3s since @DeathZeroFx posted his guide on fixing it for the Z5 (credits to him for finding out what is needed in order to do this). After lots of failed tests and comparing many times the Xperia X framework .jars we now have the right components in the right files.
So finally we can present to you a zip package to fix up SmartCleaner for your Z2 or Z3 devices on MM 6.0.1. This was tested on MWA 4.1 based on beta FW .203.
Edit: so far there have been reports this bootloops for some ROMs like SliMM 1.9 so proceed with caution. If you want to try this and can restore your system partition in TWRP then go ahead and try, but the only ROM this 100% works for is MoonWalker Amaluna V4.1.

i used the setting file before with @DeathZeroFx guide and it worked (but still random reboots at low battery)
so i don't think it's the setting file Bro's .
the 1st reboot it bootloops just at the end of boot animation, and then bootloops on the middle of it all the time.

Unfortunately, my guide only stop rebooting caused by smartcleaner try to reach the files that don't exists on framework.jar, just put the missing files to the framework without link it, it is as same as placebo, I don't think that before because the random reboot just stop (not frequently like before)

I don't know if this fully works without issue, after my phone boot up to homescreen and check smartcleaner I post this
I will test this first for couple hours (maybe a day) :/
I think the services.jar that I used can work on Z5 and Z5P too (just assume, because the same 6.0.1 and .224 build number firmware i think)

I don't know. It can be different,I think but I can't use phone now. I did'nt make a back up. I need services.jar and framework.jar from eXzistenZ v3.5.0...
I flashed Xperia X settings and then before rebooting, I flashed this as well... Now I'm in a bootloop, in the middle of the bootanimation, the phone get's to the Sony logo by itself. I don't have any backup, any chance for me to get back my phone?

Extract the framework.jar and services.jar from your ROM and place them in my zip and flash it again to revert back to the original files. Should resolve your problem if you haven't fixed already!
This fix works by using patched .jars so some ROMs like yours may be incompatible for some reason. I applied the fix primarily for MWA ROM but has seemed to work for others also.

If not just keep extracting with 7zip until you get the system part or something. Everyone packages their ROMs differently so have a go.
If not then dirty flash the whole thing?

Look inside the rom. There is a system.img file and it contains system files. How can I open it to take system files?
