Instala rom tolbox the market or Any Other and when to make you go to wipe cache recovery and cache Dalkin, and you will not Have problems is failure recovery.
release the mods!!!! (mr. burns style )
You don't need to wipe dalvik to boot to recovery, however wiping cache does seem to help.
And while XDA is a dev site (in general), this is a Q&A section. He asked a question, so if you're just going to moan instead of posting an answer, then please don't post. I do notice that 3/4 posters in here are just whingers with nothing to actually contribute, or do you not know the answer either?
M.
It is an annoying problem, I'm sure it will get fixed in future releases of clockwork as will the charging problem.

Hi all,
One of my friends, has flashed lots of rom, but he cam't use them! every time he flash a new rom, after the setup, when the phone reboots, it goes in boot mode with a screen similar to this one:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
the only way is to connect the usb-cable to the phone (that's allows him to enter into recovery) so through recovery he finally can reboot it!
the problem appears with all the roms, except "virtous rom v2.0"
thankks for the support!
p.s. he can also go in bootloader mode.....
Probably has Fake S-OFF, if I can find the thread on how to get True S-OFF on I'll edit this post to link it.
Found it: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=26359408&postcount=9
PS: I used to have that same radio up til about 2 weeks ago, I upgraded to the .19 radio so I could use the EliteMod ICS rom (it also seems to be nicer on the battery with the new .19 radio).
I was runnung Android Revolution,
last week I've decided to switch to another ROM because my battery started to lose charge in half a day.
And i've got this boot loop while trying to flash an Aroma I think... Today is the fifth day of my attempts to fix the device. I've allready tried to restore my backups from CWM, tried at least four different ROMS, tried super_wipe_scripts.zip, tried to clear all I can (except SD) before install, readed related posts in this forum and tested allmost all sugestions.
Now i've ended with miui looped boot, but, sometimes my phone boots to ROMs wellcome screen, once i even was able to select a language and coonect to wifi and then loop was started again...

Not enough info.
I assume you didn't encrypt the storage?
Is the phone modded? Custom recovery installed?

Is that picture from the actual phone, if it is you are also posting in the wrong forum section. The HTC One M8 does not have those 2 dark holes on the left of the top speakergrill !
Well, I should start with that this is my gf's phone and I've installed LinageOS quite a while ago. She's saying that she was installing a weekly update when the phone crashed and after that it started to stay on the boot window for hours. When I tried to manually update the phone via TWRP it showed this:

Tried some Youtube guides, as changing from EXT 4 to EXT 2 and back again, repairing the file system, but it just says the same thing all the time. Any ideas how to fix that? Thanks in advance!
I'm not very experienced in that (only installed a few ROMs to a few different phones), so it would be great to get some step-by-step guide, so I don't mess something up <3
Flash back to stock and start over. If the ruu can't fix it then nothing will.
