Sky cloud wifi is free for sky uk customers, sky took over cloud wifi hotspots last year. If you download the app and log in with sky login details you get the use of the free wifi spots in the uk

do you have to be a sly broadband customer, or just a sky customer..ie would I be able to use it cause I have sky tv?

I believe you need to be a Sky Broadband customer to use the service.

What VPN do you use?

I'm looking for one that will allow me to connect to France and the US. I used Hideman, which was a great app until it stopped working for me. Can't seem to find anything similar. I would welcome your suggestions. Thanks!

you can try: http://justfreevpn.com/
Another vote for HideMyAss or StrongVPN as it has both PPTP and OpenVPN with county selection.

Been using WiTopia for the past couple years. $69/year for multiple servers, unlimited bandwidth and pptp+l2tp+openvpn. If you want only one of the protocols,, they have cheaper plans available as well.
For app, you can manually add it in the vpn section or you can get the openvpn app from the market and set it up to use openvpn as well. There are several guides you can find on configuring openvpn on Android.

I use hideninja. It's not perfect but it's the cheapest (one time payment of about $5).

isn't that for outside the USA? I'm assuming this refers to USTVNow. It only gives five channels free--Fox, NBC, CBS, ABC, and PBS. All those channels are rebroadcasts from Philly.
You will need to download Aptoide to get the app but T.V. portal gives you access to so many movies and shows.

Yes, get T.V. Portal. I whole-heartedly endorse that app.
actually MobiTV is on the Sprint GN2. It's just Sprint TV; see link from MobiTV.com: Linky
Not all of it is free, but you get a couple channels--ABC Mobile TV, ESPN Mobile, Disney, Live Sports Calender, NBC Sport Mobile. You have to subscribe to get other channels. No HDMI output either.
Thanks, I have xbmc but was looking for live tv, like sprintv, as im on boost. Unless there is a way to get it to work?

I wish. Google changed how Google Play loads and verifies what market your device is linked to. So things like MarketEnabler are no longer working. Otherwise, I would say give that a go.
I know of other apps you can use for live TV, but they're all based outside the USA. They're use to use if use a VPN since they're all IP based such as BBC's media player, USATVNow, CatchupTV. Nevermind what you can access with Flash Player and a compatible browser such as Boat Player.

Use dinamotxt. It syncs over Google+ with your phone and will let you use the WiFi version as a texting device. Works well

If your with rogers also with your cell phone there is a free service that comes with your plan called rogers one number allowing you to make calls and send texts through any tablet or computer and it uses your actual cell number. The app is on the play store

Netflix will tell you that it is a bandwidth issue and bandwidth issue and blame your ISP. Since you have Comcast and the Fire TVs bandwidth requirements that is probably the case. Comcast throttles Netflix bandwidth.
If I side load netflix app it also works but have to use mouse..it's not a netflix Comcast issue I don't think..netflix works on every other device I have

I found that if install amazon appstore (sideloaded) that now all apps are there and my Netflix now works
