You really don't get charged for teethering on a rom?

I have the open kang from flashed on my nexus. If I enable the stock hotspots, I really don't have to pay any extra?

Not unless they find out and decide they want to.

I've been on AOKP for more than 3 months and have been tethering daily without any issues or paying :good:
Been doing it for 3 plus years and no issue yet..
Hehe.. Yes been doing it since my HTC hero days back in 2009, I think

Nexus S vs inc 2

Honestly which is better for someone to play a couple games but mostly text and I'm not saying stock I'm saying rooted cm9 or 10 maybe

Probably inc2. Its newer hardware. Especially if you're gonna be playing games. Although, they may not run as smooth on cm9 or something cuz of the drivers not being released. However, I'm sure on something like UKB might be good since we're using an actual ICS kernel.

Nexus s is old tech... so, inc2 is better than nexus s

No root even after using motofail2go, motochopper, or Blade

Can I do anything to root? I'm using a Maxx HD that just updated to 4.1.2. My phone is also modded so it is on Straight Talk's ATT.
Tried Blade, motochopper, motofail2go, and all fail.. I hope there are options left.
Check out the RAZR HD community... You can try towelroot but check out the RAZR HD community for better assistants

I had the same problem for so long, I finally ended up successfuly using a Galaxy S4 root tool. Can't remember what its called though.
Towel Root should do the trick.

S-off phone with test software on it

So I acquired an s off tester phone with old test software on it. Where and what all do I need to read up on in order to catch up with flashing an m9 without borking it.
Also most stable or newest ROM suggestions are appreciated. I'm so used to my nexus that I'm spinning my wheels trying to work out the steps
