Hi. Does anyone know if the battery can be recharged in Bootloader ? Because when i plug the cable in my phone, it automatically turns on in Bootloader and i can't go anywhere else. And i want to have enough battery in order to launch RUU... Thanks.
Afaik it doesn't. Flash stock recovery and you can charge with phone off.

it can be charged, but really slow, try to flash back the official recovery first through bootloader
I can go also to the official recovery. But what i have to do then ?

Tried installing stock ruu, but tells me the battery is less than 30%.
the device will not stay turned off to charge, and if it does, it stops charging within 5-10 minutes.
I am lost to what I can do... even if I have 10% of charge, if there is a usb storage, I could probably flash a rom through recovery...
Any news on the usb mount feature through recovery? or anybody know how I can force it to turnoff and charge this thing?
can i charge in the bootloader?
also will it charge if its stuck on the htc logo?
Would help iff u told us wat u where doing and why u were flashing stock ruu? Im sure itl be fixed easy to force powet down hold power button for about 10 secs

i flashed leedroid rom yday and it boots to the lockscreen and says i have 0% battery left, when in the statbar it said 37%.
phone keeps turning on and off, each time i plug in the charger.
i was stupid and didnt make a nand or have any other rom on my sdcard.
now only thing i can do is flash a ruu from my pc, but has to be charged over 30%, i just need the phone to get charged.
1) Flash stock recovery:
Grab it from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1579797
Then Boot in bootloader >> Fastboot and issue the following command (assuming that the offical recovery is named recovery.img): fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
2) Relock Bootloader:
Boot in bootloader >> Fastboot and issue the following command: fastboot oem lock
3) Find and run/flash the RUU for your device, find it here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1543604

What state is your rom in? Can you boot at all?
M.
Edit - some people have had luck with this charging method. Plug in to charger, phone will boot and for about 6-7 seconds you'll get a red charging light. When that turns off pull the plug power down phone (long hold power if you need to). Very slow process but it will get you there eventually.
From what you've said, you should still be able to boot the phone normally to charge it.
Re-locking the bootloader and installing a different recovery shouldn't have done naything to your boot.img or ROM.

thanks i will see this.
I discover something great for any guy who brick his HTC ONE X.
Only signed recovery can CHARGE the phone when it is power off (suspended), if you have any other CWM installed, doens't matter, try to start the os en left it alone and connect it to the power, no lights appears, but the phone never go off, that means you are charging it!!! (i see this because i have the splash screen of my villain rom installed). 1 hour and the screen still sppearing, this means that the battery is charging it
Now i start to charge my phone and im going to let you know any news about my bricked one X.
You can also try to boot in rom in safe mode and charge phone. when you boot you have to hold both volume+ volume- will be boot faster...I find accidentaly last night.
I solve it!
Now i know. HTC One X is unbrickable. Or you can really brick if you stop a bootloader flashing...

Hello there,
I have HTC ONE X, I was running CM10 Jelly Bean. But now I want to get the stock room back by using RUU!
Now there is NO working rom and Recovery, and my battery is less than 30% (this is what RUU keep saying!)
When I plug my phone to the wall it runs the bootloader even if I press POWER DOWN it keeps running the bootloader again when the phone is plugged to the charger! and the red light is there not blinking!
So, how can I recharge my HOX to be able to run RUU!

You should still be able to juice up while the phone is off
so what you will have to do;
plug into mains power
choose power off in bootloader
phone will reboot (but get small amount of charge while its rebooting)
phone will power back on into bootloader
repeat power off cycle until you above 30%
unlock your bootloader again with your unlockcode.bin (fastboot flash unlock_token unlockcode.bin)
flash latest clockworkmod recovery (fastboot flash recovery clockworkmodlatest.img)
reboot into recovery and let it charge to full
then proceed with stock recovery / relock / RUU

Yeah. Keeping powering down will give it juice. You won't be able to unlock while less than 30%

ok, its charging now
thanks a lot
It happened to me before, but this time my bootloader is locked and I can't even unlock it.
Recovery is not working too - all I do is leave it charge on bootloader and it auto restarts but seems nothing to happen.
I don't know anymore how to unlock it since it says battery too low.
Tried every method.
Any ideas?

Sounds like you have the wrong boot.img if it's constantly rebooting.
And now you've locked your bootloader, you can't flash the correct one. (why can't you re-unlock it?)
You can flash a RUU to restore back to stock, just get plenty of charge in your phone.
Unplug phone
Enter fast boot (hold power and volume down till your bootloader shows)
Select power down option
Then plug phone into mains (not pc)
Let it charge, then you can flash a RUU
What software version was you running at stock?

When I enter power down it shuts down. When I plug it goes to bootloader and restarts over and over.
RUU will not work since battery is like 6%
Can't unlock since it says "battery too low"

Did you unplug the device first, then select the power down option from within the bootloader menu ?
Only then, can you plug directly into mains (not PC)
It shouldn't start up if you did it this way.

If this fails and you did these steps,
Put your phone into fastboot
Plug phone into pc
It should now say fastboot USB
Double click the fastboot charging script on your pc to execute it
.... Let your phone charge.
Here is the PC charging script

As I said tried that. It gives error due to low battery.
Edit: it gives error cuz bootloader is locked.
Now the script suddenly worked and it shows the voltage is going to increase slowly! I hope it will work.
Now I have recovery! Finally. Thanks to the person who made the script.

Here is the script text ! Copy and paste the script text in a new text document and save it as .bat then you put the phone in fastboot usb mode and run the script ....
had same issue a while ago. HOX is charging for a few seconds until getting into fastboot mode. The script restarts the device times via fastboot commands. Very useful. I had to retype those commands by hand
Hi....
Recently my phone got locked with an unlimited pattern attempts, so I decided to factory reset using the bootloader. Now I cant even boot into the bootloader using the power and volume down key combination... Its just a blank screen. When I charge the phone, a green battery sign appears, telling me how much percent of battery is there. Other than that, I cant boot into the OS, recovery or bootloader. What should I do?
What you get when you just press power button?
Nothing...

Do you have usb charging and debug mode enabled in settings?
You have stock rom or?
What do you now about your mobile phone (software version, hboot version, etc..)?
The rom was factory reset as i told you... after that i have remained unable to start the phone, or boot into bootloader... the phone starts charging when connected using a usb or adapter... it was running android 2.3.5 sense 3.0 wwe. It was unrooted and s-on...
