While talking to the phone if I receive an incoming call the screen will show me who's calling and provide options for answering (put on hold current call) or decline to answer.
Thing is that whatever I choose the phone will stuck for a moment and won't be able to answer the incoming call nor continue to talk to the current one. Anyone else experiencing the same.
I hope froyo fixes this.

My wife has a Wildfire S and its stock, but the notification led keeps flashing when the screen is off. the only weird thing that i did to her phone was install handicent SMS and SMSAwake to wake the phone when she gets a message ala iPhone which she just moved from. Does anyone have any ideas as to where to start looking? TIA
What color is it flashing?
Sent from my HTC Wildfire S using xda premium
It's flashing green like there is a message/email whatever. When she checks it there is nothing there.
That's odd the only thing I can suggest is removing handset and the SMS awake thing then reboot to see if it stops.
Sent from my HTC Wildfire S using xda premium
Well, it appears that it was just SMSAwake. I removed it and the LED stopped flashing randomly
not a major issue but an annoyance, my handset has started putting it's self from vibrate to silent all on its own, happens randomly even did it now whilst I was browsing the forum, I didn't press any buttons either.
This only seems to have happened after HTC released the first update to unbranded phones.
Has anyone else come across this?

To add to this it seems to happen when the the wifi connection or mobile connection is lost

I'm assuming no one else has had this issue? Can't see any mention of it, if I get time tomorrow I will contact HTC

Hi guys,
After updating to JB, my light sensor isn't working anymore... When my screen brightness is set to auto, nothing happens when the ambient light changes.
My buttons also do not go out anymore.
I'm all stock, not rooted or unlocked.

Don't have any problems here after the update... Sorry for you

Backup sdcard, apps and important data such as call logs, text messages etc and afterwards do a hard reset .
To do a hard reset Press power+volume down and hold them for a few seconds. you'll boot into a white screen with 3 android's skating. There you'll have an option for factory reset. select it, It will hard reset and wipe your phone completely. This should solve the issue mostly. Good luck

Trying to avoid a reset as long as possible. Since I have no root, I can't use titanium backup to restore everything :-\
Anyway, i did a few reboots, and the sensor seems to start working again... Only in the dark the buttons remain extremely bright, it's a lot brighter than before, and quite annoying...

Are you using power toggles?
If yes or not, open a video, change video brightnes and then check your system's autobrightness again.
If this solves and if you're using powertoggles, don't use it anymore, at least till the next update.
Anyone experiencing poor performance from the double-tap to wake and other wake gestures? Thanks.
I haven't been able to get voice dial to work from say one. Sliding down while the phone is sleep just turns on the screen. Sometimes voice dilaer will show up but that's every 6 or 7 tries. Sometimes the mic will flash and then disappear.
Anyone else??
The key to the others is movement. Without enough movement of the phone prior to double tap it will not wake. Don't know if that's your issue.

All of these are supposed to work when you pick it up into your hand.

Correct. I've also noticed if you move the phone while it's laying down, the gestures still work.
I was trying to post about this in a dev form for a rom I was using I had experienced it to be mostly successful. Except when I use a AOSP lock screen in my rom which I am using. (Both Viper and Insert Coin....not sure about GPE). But with AOSP Lockscreen gestures are seemingly not working at all. Am I doing something wrong or has this not been solved yet?
Works all the time for me
