I/O scheduler - Verizon Droid Incredible 2

Sorry if this has been asked before but I did run a search for this and found no results but is there a best option to choose for the inc 2 for I/o scheduling?

I use noop. Always have.

Sio or simple is what I use. The advanced features of other schedulers are lost in android, so simple saves battery. Not a lot, but I like to do whatever I can.

[Q] set cpu

Is anyone using setcpu for the zedo kernel? And if so are you using screen off profiles to save battery or is this not needed? And what governors are you using as well as setting for good battery life. I don't care much for overclocking.

Most modern phones automatically adjust the cpu as needed.

Which Governor to Use?

I flashed a different kernel and now Ondemand is gone, which governor is closest to that in battery life and performance?

Check out that link, on the setcpu site they break it down for you. Also check out a few of the guides on here, they have it even further in depth talking about which governors are best for what.
Interactive would be the closest to ondemand if its available or interactiveX

[Q] add governor and scheduler

Is there a way to add a scheduler and CPU governor with out building the entire kernel?

im curious as well? anyone know?
I don't believe so.. Just use Ktoonsez's kernel. There's plenty of governors and schedulers.
To answer the original question, no these are compile-time options.
Exactly. Requires source code, which we do not have.

For me Lulzactive appears to be a bit more battery friendly than Smartassv2. Others may say the opposite, but for me the results are better with Lulzactive regarding battery life and smoothness.
Lulzactive the best tweak

Famous answer: It depends.
Longer answer: It totally depends on your usage pattern. Use one for a couple of days, then use the other one for a couple of days, and summarize your own experience.
