Hi people
i recently brought a spare battery its a G5 3.7 1800 mAh by FEIPUSI.
I have charged it fully but my phone keeps turning off, i tested the battery with a meter and i get 3.82v also on the phone i downloaded current widget and it says 44mA
My original htc battery puts out 2.7 on the meter and says 424mA on the widget.
what's going on???? the reason i brought a spare is because my battery only lasts a day, i have wifi on or 3g depending on reception and normal brightness.
whys it got a higher voltage but a lower Am or is my HTC original F*$£ED
THANKS ALL
Found out the issue with the battery just cutting out, it was the bottom two gold colored prongs that the battery connects too. i just bent them out a little.
this does not effect the Power put out, its still at 44mA????? anyone
If I understand you right, you're wondering why a non original battery is not putting out like the original?
I've always been skeptic about those.
its a fake lable battery
i´ve the same brought an its a massive bad battery

anyone found a better battery than stock ?
Hello folks..
I have a HTC Desire CDMA and I bought a Extended battery (3500 mAh to be exact) and this battery lasts just about as long as my normal battery does. It is thick enough to be 3 of my regular batteries, and it is alot heavier, so i know it wasnt a scam, plus there was good reviews... but, The only difference that I get with this extended battery, is that it stays at 100% for about 3 hours, and then starts booming down the charts on battery level.. I mean, i normally have about 25% at the end of the day with this extended battery, but i figure that it should atleast last 2 days on a full charge.... with it being 3500 mAh.. I mean, wow... Can someone help me? Im using a trusted stable battery saving kernel and rom.. so I know that's not the problem..
bump.........?

Do you have a custom rom? Try to download SpareParts from the market and unplug the charger when it says "charged". For my Samsung i5500 and a cyanogen rom the phone says "charged" a lot of time before the real charge...i think that the batterystats file isn't calibrated on your new battery, and so it says charged before...if you have a custom rom i think it's useful (if not necessary) to do a battery ricalibration (i.e charge the phone until the 100% then wipe the battery stats via recovery and then let the phone discharge until the 0%)
I don't know if this will help you, i hope!
I think
When i go back home tomorrow and pick up my extended battery, i will try this. thanks.
edit: yes i have a custom rom. it's oxygen.
Hello, I replaced my stock battery that had 1450mah to one that has 1600mah and it only charges to 1450mah. I erased the battery stats and changed the rom, but still charges to 1450mah whatever I try.
I even tried with the Battery Calibrator from John Richards that I used a long time ago to fix the 15% battery shutdown and when I go to learning mode it says that my battery has a capacity very high, like 27000mah, which is obviously wrong, but I can't change it to another value with this battery in. Please help me to change the maximum current to 1600mah.
Thanks!
Anybody?
You bought a cheap aftermarket battery.
This battery won't work with batterycalibrator app.
The registers of this battery cannot be read.
So all values you get are not reliable.
Two beer or not two beer, that's the question
Ok, but isn't there a way to manually change the value of the battery capacity, no matter what battery I have in it?
My battery life has started to go down so I'm thinking to change the battery in the coming year or so, according to accubattery I'm at 97% health (5,120mAh/5,300mAh), but I'm experiencing rapid battery drain all of a sudden.
There are tutorials to open N1's and I've changed batteries on iPad minis, so I'm ok there.
The question is, has anyone found a good quality aftermarket battery? Is it possible to get an OEM one?

Hope you get good information from any one.
I think no one have interst about N1. :crying:
Only a handful ppl got N1, so not much chance to get a battery.....
Anyway, hope the best for U.
My Z2 plus battery backup was not good. I got new battery installed but battery backup is still bad. I installed accu battery pro app it shows my battery capacity of around 1800 mah. Can any one please tell me if this is battery issue or software or even baseband issue.
