Hello, i used to have a LG P500 and after sendind a sms the report used to say the name of the person, since i chenged to the galaxy nexus the report only shows the number of the person i contacted.
Its not a big deal but sometimes I send a sms to more then one person and i want to know who got it and who didnt.

I can send a SMS 'text' to one number fine, however when I send to more than one number only the first number ever gets the message.
I got some very annoyed texts at New Year's! Plus I cant share some pretty poor jokes with friends

Has anyone had a problem with text messages not sending? My phone fails to send 50% of the texts I send. My buddy has a cheaper LG smartphone and has the same problem on a different network. I think its LG, I should have got the Galaxy.
a friend of mine has the lg optimus g on sprint, and so do a couple members of his family. they all report that sending a text less than 10ish characters results in error 97. however, they can receive all messages just fine.
another member of the family has a different phone with them on sprint but has no issues sending short texts.
i'm guessing this is a sprint issue, but does anyone have any thoughts on this?

They need to update their device. It sounds like they're still running ICS which had a messaging bug.
Go into settings and see if an update is available
well i had rooted and installed shelnutt2's cm 10.1 on my friend's device (not necessarily in an attempt to fix the message issue, but to make it better) but he still got it. it didn't say "code 97" but just said like "error in sending message"
Hi Everyone, I was wondering any of you would be able to help me with an issue I've been having. I recently purchased a redmi note 5 phone and have been using it the past week and I have come across a problem that is really bothering me. If I send a text to a new contact that I have put in my phone the phone will recognize them and display their name in the text thread however if someone sends a text to me first and I try to put their name in the phone as a new contact their number will show up in the texts instead of their name. Then I click on the text their name will pop up in the message but then it reverts back to showing the number when I back out of the text. The only solution I have found is deleting the message and the person's contact number and resending them a text after I have saved their contact name and number again. If anyone is able to help me with this problem I would be so grateful.

Hiya fellow members. I got a question for you. Recently my sister has had problems sending group texts. I'll send a group text between myself and my 3 siblings . My G Fast will kick my sister from the group chat. When I try to add her back and send a message, the phone will say something along the lines of "The person you are trying to send this message to doesn't have advance messaging." Which is weird because I know for a fact I've enabled advanced messaging on all 4 phones. I got us all the exact same phone and carrier. We are on boost mobile, no contract, and unlimited messaging.
Can you guys help me figure out why my sisters phone won't receive group texts?
