... That would mean it is probably a BREW game for a feature phone (not smartphone). While the Android Dalvik VM can interpret Java, the system hooks are all wrong for BREW. You might look for a BREW emulator and then see if there is some place you can buy the game from.

PlayStation Store

Well due to my own ineptitude my last thread fell on deaf ears.
So, I'm trying to get the PlayStation Store up and running on my Xperia Play but I keep running into an error when I start it up
I read about editing the build.prop file and saw some screenshots showing what to edit but unfortunately for myself my file looks different.
I would really like this up and running so I hope someone talented out there can help me
Thank you

You have to have stock 2.3.4 as any custom Rom makes the phone look like any old generic android phone

He could have another device that lets him download the game, thus giving him a titanium backup of the app. Doesn't always have to be warez

Paid for app that you are giving someone else a copy of for free and still keeping the original = warez.

I know but it states rather implicitly that PSXperia is only to be used for games you already physically own

Yes but that doesnt allow sonys software to be changed they have strict rules about that. Its just substituting one illegal thing for another lol

They are releasing a non-tegra version. If you watch the trailer you'll see the timeline of release dates. If I have time I'll watch it to let you know.

Nah, it just uses a modded Linux kernel
I believe its very similiar not for sure tho

Android is Linux, but I guess you mean a desktop OS like Ubuntu. While you cannot replace it from my knowlededge, you can run them simultaneously, albeit slowly. I haven't tested this with the Xperia Play, but hey, it's worth a shot! Search Opensourcegangster on Youtube.
Just search backtrack for android and bam

I was just wondering if it was possible to put the game launcher onto a different android device. If so can anyone tell me how or point me to another post that can. Thanks

Its possible, You would just need to have certain /frameworks and /etc/permissions and maybe even some build prop lines. Then it would just be matter if the other device loaded up those sony /frameworks and /etc/permissions that you added.
Alright thanks I'll play around with it.
