I've just got my new One X and noticed that a part of the led flash glass is not clear. There is a dark sector under the glass. Is this a problem and do i have to refund the phone or not? Thanks.

How badly is it affecting the flash?
It certainly isn't supposed to be there, so you would be entitled to a replacement.

Detachable macro lens?

Being a "new user" (lurker) I can't post a link  but the brand is BrainyTrade sold in Amazon . com/dp/B005C3CSXC/ref=cm_sw_r_an_am_ap_am_us?ie=UTF8
Does anybody know if it would work with our phone?
The description says it should work with any camera phone, (and the lens has to be smaller than 9.5mm) but I wanted to know if somebody has tried it on the t989, or other similar phone.
Thanks.

It's only 8 bucks, why not try it? I might. I'm a bit of a shutterbug, I have a camera but my phone is much better so I might just pick up one of these myself.
I had one for my Nexus one.
Here is a sample pic i took with it:

this is really noticeable when i set the brightness to max. is this rom/kernel related or is this an LCD defect? do i need to go to the service center so they can check it? thanks!
I also noticed it on my display few days ago , wasn't there before...
But mine is alot smaller so i don't even shure that they will see it in the service center ..
did you also set the brightness to max?
Yes you only really notice it on full brightness and mine is like the size of a rice grain anyway so you need to look for it to see it.
did you have it checked in a service center? or its not an issue for you?
I have the same problem, is it covered by warranty?

If possible, can you fire up the brightness to 100% with power save disabled on a black background/image ;and upload them ?
Hi @MrFlashfist, as we discussed this topic on the German forum lets clear this up for the others
These are attachment points of the Display. M7 had them as well. Three of them at each side.
I see them as well on mine, as some others on the german forum too.

Cheers. Thanks sheppy.
Wonder where it comes from then? It's not on my 2xl that's for sure!

Possibly his own creation?
Thanks DaveP. Seems to be based on a photo of Antelope Canyon? Would never have guessed it could be a real place. Amazing!

No worries! I honestly can't remember where I got it from! It didn't come on the phone itself, I just had it stored in Google Photos from a while back when I found it.
Seems the other poster IDd it as coming from MKBHD though ?

Question Screen issue

Hi, I have just bought brand new OP 11, does anyone had this kind of issue with screen? There is black dot near front camera, looks like just pixels are dead... Does anyone have something like this?

These are not dead pixels, it looks a lot like the place where the camera is actually located doesn't quite match the UI (because where the camera is located normally nothing is displayed and that doesn't seem to quite match the camera on your phone to fit )
