Hi, I have just bought brand new OP 11, does anyone had this kind of issue with screen? There is black dot near front camera, looks like just pixels are dead... Does anyone have something like this?

These are not dead pixels, it looks a lot like the place where the camera is actually located doesn't quite match the UI (because where the camera is located normally nothing is displayed and that doesn't seem to quite match the camera on your phone to fit )

So here's the deal.
One day, I dropped my defy "accidentally" inside a water closet. I put it up high in the shelves and suddenly it drops down to the closet.
now the left part of the screen is unable to be touched anymore. as could be seen in the screenshot below. the green areas are the ones that are broken

as this is a surely hardware problem, are there any other solutions than:
a. buy a new LCD screen (hard to find)
b. buy a new phone
thanks for the help guys
bump..........
Sorry
Since it is a hardware problem, I can't think of any other solution besides purchasing another LCD/phone. I'm sorry.
That said, I have put my defy underwater many times. The touch screen stop working when wet, but I had no issues with it once it dried. Maybe the problem was from the impact?
Seem like the SII I9100 has been plauged with this problem... I didn't see anything for our phone. Anyone else have a pink spot, did i miss somekind of firmware update. I am almost sure it's in the software....

i took a lot of pictures already with my phone, no problem
there's a sticky in the Apps section of the forum, with a lot of pictures people have taken with our T989
i didn't see anything wrong on their phones
Yeah, I picked up this phone yesterday and also noticed a pink spot in the center of the camera. Mine isn't as bad as yours. It's more a pink hue that I have. It depends on the lighting though. When I'm in my room and the sun is shinning through I can see the pink spot on white backgrounds. Should I exchange the phone? Is there a software fix for this or is it purely hardware?

My guess from looking at the pictures is that you choose a different anchorpoint for the module that renders the menu icon. Probably center left while the rest is on center? If you want elements to stay together if the widget get resized you should use the same anchorpoint for all modules so something like this doesn't happen
I think the problem is the device resolution, because i created this in a 480x800 and i'm testing in a 1080x1920. Tried what you said and the problem continues.
I'm using CM12, but I guess this is relevant for lollipop as a whole.
Here's a weird thing that I noticed.
I tried to set a wall paper like this :

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
But when I applied it, it appeared like this :
I got that problem with other pics too.
What is going on here ?

Depending on the launcher/number of home screens wallpapers can be stretched to accommodate two/three home screens for example. When using a wallpaper which has a "single-screen" resolution, like 1440x2560, it will be zoomed in to cover two or three home screens.
What you can do is use a 2880x2560 for testing purposes. If this wallpaper shows correctly (not zoomed in vertically but able to scroll horizontally) the above assumption is correct
Hard to see clearly from the Pic but these bright multicolored elements appeared 3 days ago and are visible regardless of the View. They're under the LCD screen it seems.
Incredibly dissapointing.

Use ScreenTest or the phone's embedded display test to verify if/what pixels are damaged
I used a dead pixel app. Recommended by a Samsung rep. Did nothing
How to access the imbedded display test sir?
Not sure for that device. It uses the phone keypad to interface.
Samsung members apps...run the diagnostics
Anyone seen those before?

Where do you find the diagnostics?
Nevermind.
I had something very similar, just in the crease of the fold about 3/4" from the bottom. The screen had to be replaced under warranty.
