I just bought this device and i want to know whats the best custom ROM for this phone, as well as if custom roms are provide bugs that can lessen the use of the phone. And what applications SHOULD i use to be able to use this phone on its full potential not only on gaming but also on overall(like what application to avoid lags, etc. etc.) and if its not too much pls provide links on where i can download the adviced applications safely. thanks i already use the search button but all the things i searched are not exactly what i want to know thats why i made a new thread for my question. thanks

What's the best custom ROM?
This is an awkward question. All custom ROMs are good and this depends on ur personal preference. I would say CM9 will be the best if all the bugs fixed.
If u wan to have its full performance, ROOT it. There are lots and lots of apps for root users, so u should try them out urself. ROMtoolbox will give u a good control of a rooted SGW.
In short, trying and learning are the best ways.

True words. There is not THE ROM out right now in my opinion, so I would advice you to start of with stock and root access. Than once you familiar with it and still not satisfied, start with the first custom ROM.
CM9 is really awesome, but the camera doesnt work and has a few bugs. Here again, it depends on your personal requirments, some badly need there camera, some don't mind.
With Apps it is pretty much the same. You have to go and search for your personal requirments. Maybe I'll make later a list for you with my recommended apps.

i see, i'm still on the way on experimenting this stock rom and i'm contented for now. i'm not on hard core gaming and i just want this phone to run games just decently like temple run, and i also want to know why do people overclock to improve the 1.4ghz to 1.6ghz? does it really matter? i mean its the processor that makes the difference as far as i know even if it improves its still be the same because it has only single processor right? and thanks THE-E i read almost all of your post and i thank you for trying to make a list of recommendations

Custom ROM may have customized kernel, different way of multitasking which "should" improve phone performance. Other thing like deodexed, zipaligned which should improve the speed of the ROM.
Some other obvious mods like
1. customized framework-res which gives u a better appearance
2. extended power menu which let u have more options like reboot
3. toggles buttons on status bar which works similar to extended menu
...and more
However, quite a lot of ppl still stick to stock ROM as its overall performance is still very good.
For example, I am using Cow V2, when playing temple run, it is a bit laggy; while my gf is using stock ROM, temple run is running smoothly w/o any lagging.

i see, i really should stay on stock for a while and try all things before i try custom roms, thanks for the explanations i appreciate it
also i do want to know how good this camera can be and the videos, as far i as i tested its just normal and gives a decent quality for me, or is it not? can you guys say your thoughts about its features if its worth it or not.
Generically why dun you google it at youtube....plenty of video previews.
I bought my first android after going thru the previews at the same channel.
The reason I bought the SGW was due the fact....
. The price is reasonable
. The CPU speed is fast
. And of course ICS CM9 by a Developer whose ROM I had used before on my first Android
Just to add too I never went thru a video preview before deciding on purchase.
And to my suprise four of my friends bought the same....coz they knew what I could do with it...

i did actually, but honestly what i saw on youtube reviews are all pros and no cons, i mean they just show how good it was but when a real user posts his/her experience then there comes the cons. thats why i want to know what on real other users. in some forums they say that the camera fails as well as the video and i just want to confirm it, in gaming i know its not the best coz of the single processor but i somehow want it because im not into hardcore gaming.

im using the same phone you are using mate and i think i just need to do it step by step to know personally what things are not decent on this phone. thanks for the reply i got 1 more question mate, do changing the ROM can really improve the performance of the phone? i mean its only customized right? what things do you like on that CM9? some says they use Cow, whats the difference?
All the ROMS here are based on Gingerbread n using the very same kernel created by arco68 n some of the kernels have been modified.
If you wanna know the full capability of the SGW I suggest you try CM9 ICS which is the only IceCream Sandwich made...still in Alpha Release n modifications still being carried out...
Where is your originated country ? BTW ?

These Apps are good for performance.
JuiceDefender improves the performance of the batter life.
Gemini App Manager lets you block autostarts of Apps and more.
NoMedia let you set the folders with media, this will save time for the start up and also safe battery, because the media scanner does not search all directories.
RAM Mananger Pro optimises the RAM management, this improves the performance of my SGW a lot. But most probably you will not need this, if you use CM9 or other custom ROMs.

Have tried it, didn't bring the promised performance boost. But try it out and make your own opinion.
For me, RAM Manager Pro made my Stock ROM much smoother than SuperCharger.

I searched a lot at XDA forums, and Youtube. But there is no enough information about it. So i decided to ask. Maybe somebody could share his experience.
So I have 2 options.
1- Latest Stock ICS + root:
This option let me use all features of my phone.I can remove bloatware with this option. But there is no good customization options and i have a buggy UI.2- CM10-fxp149:
This option gives me a lot of customization.
But is CM10 stable enough to everyday use?.
I need
Fully working camera
Fully working video camera
xLoud
Enough stability for gaming (no or rare reboot problems)
Working FM Radio
Fully working wifi
Which option is best for me? Or you can suggest other options for me.
Sorry for my English by the way. Thanks.

Out of the 2 choices you have provided, I would say Stock ICS with root based on the assumption that you don't seem very experienced. However if I may, I recommend using a custom rom based on stock ICS - that is - ICS with optimisation tweaks and all bloatware removed while still retaining the necessary functions and apps like the ones you mentioned. I recommend either Jelly Sandwhich or Xperia HD Ultimate
I agree which Jman. I move from CM 10 FXP146 to Pureness 14 on my Arc S yesterday. Why? Its more unstable while playing i thing. anyway the game were crashing, and RAM was crazy. At least panorama mode in camera didnt work 4 me.
I advice you to install th 1.8 x-gamer rom + doomkernel v22+the fps uncape+oc at 1.6 ghz trust me u wont regret it i get 4600 on antutu

I see no need for this thread to exist as it is pointless. Everyone uses the apps that satisfy their own needs. It may be anyone, a dev, a user & a noob. Better if the thread be closed.

Thread is not meant to argue over which app is better. In case of disputes such as those everyone just tries out both apps and keeps the one they prefer. Also, there is not a single person out there (or here) who's app selection hasn't in some way been influenced by the people he interacts with. This gives such people an opportunity to find out about and try out contemporaries to the apps that they are using. It gives you a sort of freedom, which is what makes Android SO much better than the iOS or ANY other phone OS available.
This also gives newbies a chance to find out what more experienced people prefer and why. Finding out the perfect apps for your new phone is way harder than it sounds, especially since they keep adding hundreds of apps every week.
Still, as you put it, you have your opinion and I have mine.
I created this thread to help people but if you still aren't convinced then feel free to report it to the Mods.

Apps which i keep regardless of roms:
-superuser is a must.
-es file explorer: great root explorer that has 'browse over lan'.
-set cpu: for setting cpu frequencies and governors with screen on/screen off profiles.
-Droidwall: simple intuitive firewall for limiting network traffic.
-Dropbox: cloud storage.
-link2sd (stock) or s2e (cyanogenmod): Apps for using the partitioned sd card and solve internal memory problems.

Mods:
-adrenaline engine: pretty much an all-in-one performance boost with increase sd card read/write speeds, zipalign, better ram management, etc.

Hmm... Common opinion is that ES File Explorer is the best, but have you guys tried out SolidExplorer yet? Apart from the inbuit music player it has much of the same functionality. The interface and the appearance is a big plus, especially the two panel system. I recommend having them both. Also, once you have these, they negate the need for Root Explorer.
Also, SuperSU might be a better option than SuperUser. It was built from scratch to specifically counter the problems that SU was facing. pointedly on the CM9 & CM10 ROMs. SuperSU also has faster and better interface.
Terminal Emulator is a good choice but the text warping is really bad.
Music player would be Player Pro (customisation), or Miui Player (the karoke style inbuilt lyrics reader is awesome!) and finally the UberMusic Player (nice appearance, small app, interface is good AND it's got this little list of upcoming songs that's invaluable)
FB Reader is a must. It remembers the page no. even after shutting off the phone and has lots of customisation options AND it smaller than most readers.:good::good::good:
Kingsoft Office, anyone who needs some project/office work done on the go knows exactly how amazing and necessary this app is.
Gmail is a necessity. period.
Script Manager is also a must, if you want to run V6 scripts and set up shortcut commands to scripts from Term.Emulator.
Games depend on the user, but don't all time classics like doodle jump, cut the rope, fruit ninja, angry birds and nin jump always have a place on our phones?
Finally, we have the Gapps (excluding Gmail). As we get better software, roms become bigger. Now the question is: which is the best "minimal GApps" pack out there??
Musicplayer: poweramp

Introduction.
In P350, we have little RAM, and everybody knows that. I'm constructing this thread to try maximize the performance on ICS.
The First Tip -> Gapps.
As we all know, in each version of Android, Gapps size is increased. In Froyo, Gapps like Google Maps and others really slowed the phone to the point of hacking it to improve performance. In Gingerbread, in most of ROM's, it wasn't a BIG problem. But in Ice Cream Sandwich and Jelly Bean, Gapps are landing direct hits on performance overall, because of 3 reasons:
It's size is now very BIG;
It has some unknown background apps that eats RAM;
Now the Gapps are consuming memory, CPU and GPU.
As a effect, some Devs and p350 users are searching a way to improve performance. But some problems occur in the way, like low memory RAM, discussions on thread and some others. So I'm giving the first TIP.
DO NOT USE FLASH GAPPS.
You are now asking yourself : "What the Hell are you saying Dark?"
I answer, it's very simple. Most of the Android Users (Yes, not only P350) do not use half of the installed apks. Saying by other words, Android users flash and don't use 50% or more of Gapps, so unknown apps are installed and are kept in phone. And most of the users only flash Gapps because they want them installed for nothing, without knowing what these apps are doing in background. To finish, a big part of New Android users only use Google Play. So, how we clear this?
DOWNLOAD THE DESIRED GAPPS FROM GOOGLE PLAY.
If you use some Gapps to work or any other reason, like Google Mail and Youtube, you might consider downloading then instead of flashing. But now you are asking yourself: "What is the difference?". I answer why downloading is better thant flashing them:
A great part of ROM's (if not all), do not need Gapps to work, so you can only download Google Play, setting your account on phone and start hunting the apps you use;
Because of this, you has an Greater control of deciding what app you need and want to install;
Unknown apps will not be installed on your phone;
No background apps active -> More RAM -> Better performance!
Now you have a better performance than before.
The Second Tip -> Uninstall what you don't use.
Yes, in every version of ICS the most worry of users is : "RAM is good on this ROM?", because little RAM, poor performance. In some versions, like ConnectMod betas, the RAM is very poor, according to dodo1255 . How to solve this problem?
UNINSTALL SYSTEM APPS.
Some ROM's come with unnecessary apps, and they consume your memory, both internal and RAM. To Advanced users:
Extract ROM, go to system/apps and delete manually the undesired apps.
To basic users, do this:
Download Root Uninstaller or Root Uninstaller Pro;
Open it and Search some apps that you don't use and uninstall them.
Attention: Before making anything make a Backup first! And, do not try this if you are New on Android world. If you want to do this, first search on net about this and what apps you can uninstall.
I'm not responsible for bricked devices, suicide, getting fired at your work because alarm app failed, or your mama kamikazing herself instead of jumping parachute because you didn't call her and tell what airplane to catch on airport. You decided of making these modifications. If you point your finger at me, I'll laugh of you.
Click to collapse
Some people just do this and get an improved performance, but if you want to go further.
The Third Tip -> Overclock and Swap.
Yep, it's a basic tip this one. But be aware of the limit of the overclocking in the respective kernel, and what's the most stable frequency on that ROM. And if you're planning Swap your ROM, do not use apps like Swapper, they do not help because they runs in background. Search and you'll find good tips on how to do it.
The Fourth Tip -> Download some optimizer apps.
Yes, i'm recomending because of other things that they can do. But do not install:
Apps that kills other apps, like task managers. They do not improve performance and really increase the number of Force Closes on your phone;
Apps that creates a big amount of cache;
You can install apps like:
Auto Memory Manager and RAM Manager Pro - Can help on improving performance;
AnTuTu CPU Master Pro - With some settings it helps on performance and battery;
Zdbox or other that cleans cache - Cleans your phone to a better level of performance.
The Fifth Tip -> Smoothing your phone in a easy manner.
This tip was suggested by gogyly.
This app, Seeder, was created by lambgx02 to reduce lags and to improve even better Any Rom. In the thread you can find more specifications.
I tested and works flawlessy, it's very good, a must-have app for us now.
Seeder
The Sixty Tip ->A GREAT Replacement for Google Play.
This tip is for those that only use Google Play when flash gapps. It's a custom market called 1Mobile Market. It's UI is like Google Play, feature the hottest apps for free (I found GTA Vice City to download here), you can log in with your google account and has a really amount of apps. I'm current using and is very good.
Link for download -> 1Mobile Market
Doubt of every ICS user ->Why my phone is having low battery fast?.
It's because of tweaks. Yeah, TWEAKS MAKE THE BATTERY LAST A FEW HOURS. I concluded this when i moved myself of ICS from my Genesis. They are almost equal on performance (with over my one reaches close , going to 2203 and ICS with stock freq. 2230). And, ironically, the two wastes battery even when i'm not using it. Result -> 1 day battery. Froyo, the more slow ROM, do not wastes battery when i'm not using it, even with overclock. Result -> 3+ day battery.
And 1 thing: Devs, do not put 2 or tweak packages on your ROM's, because some scripts was already used on other packages, making the system run 2 or more times the same script, wasting battery.
You can help on this list by suggesting some improvements that I do not listed here. If I help, press thanks.
So for Accounts syncing, Flash Gapps is not really needed? Only a account-related app, such as Gmail? Interesting... But how do I get Play Store without flashing Gapps?
dbarrera, account sync app come in some ICS roms. If not, you can download gapps and put this application on system/apps of the ROM. You can get Play Store apk file in XDA, or in others websites. If you cannot found, i have the .apk file so i can upload for you =D.
For instance, I'm testing JellyME ROM... It has Account & Sync app, but even with Gmail and Play Store (3.7.11 from a June dump, I dunno if its the latest) app installed, I can't add my Google account for it to sync Contact and Calendar data... Ideas?
Yes. Go to Settings -> Account & Sync -> Add Account, and do the step guide. First check your internet connection because it will be loggin to verify and associate your account to that phone and you're done. After all tap your account to find the options to Sync Contacts and Calendar. Hope i helped you. =D
Or use blackmart.

Hi. I think u should try this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=33999592
I've used this app on kamesh ICS, and it helps reduce lag. I didn'nt test it much on ICS (rolled back to MIUI), but on MIUI GB, realy reduces lag on minimum. I'm curently on powersaving governor and all is still buttery smooth. Check out and give your opinion. Cheers!!!

Okay I'll try using it on my new ROM and soon i'll post results =D
Had to flash Gapps (tiny-gapps) for Google related data (Contacts and Calendar) sync...
I just hope that these tiny-gapps does not come with unnecessary apps. But you can do this step: Extract gapps and extract rom. Put the desired apps on system/apps of the ROM and make a .zip file with contents. That should do the trick next time =D
Just the APKs? In the tiny-gapps also comes some libs and stuff... Probably dependencies?
Maybe ... But here in my phone it wasn't a problem. Maybe these libs modifies system and allow unknown apps or other things to run in background.
Being that the case, GoogleBackupTransport (I guess this one keeps data backed up with Google), Google[Calendar | Contacts]SyncAdapter (I guess the name says it all), GoogleLoginService (Need to login into Mothership somehow), MarketUpdater, Phonesky (Play Store), Talk (Yes, I'm guilty of using it) should be the only ones to load directly into the ROM's /system/app folder?
Yes, theorically talking. But soon some ROM's will implant the useful Gapps, so we will not have to do this work =D
If the JellyMe developer includes Google Login without Gapps (and fixes the bugs already posted on his thread), I'm sold!
And how about any tips for battery life? I've tried some ICS ROMs, they were quite smooth, all good but I didn't like the battery life, that's why I'm still using CM7. Anybody running ICS can post some battery stats? On CM7, it takes 3%/8 hours with airplane mode, but with ICS 40%!! Did I do something wrong(I mean bad kernel or flashing gapps) or is it normal with ICS? Thanks
ICS is a really battery eater because more apps are running in background. And it goes fast. You can download different battery savers and check what's the best for you.
Well that's shame, because I'd really like to use ICS(CM9),it has some good functions(killing with back button, smoother and faster than CM7). The weirdest thing is it drains the battery even in deep sleep?!

Don't use ICS if you cannot adapt to its functionality. Yes it has bugs, and yes, you'll be in trouble if you dont know how to make remedies.

I don't want to be rude, because I know that there's a lot of hard, long and sometimes annoying work. I'm happy I can even flash ICS. I've just asked if there's any way to improve battery life (especially when phone is not used). I don't think that low battery life is a "functionality" which I should adapt to.
Hi there,
I have just upgraded from a Wildfire S to a Nexus4. I would like to use the Wildfire S a secondary phone (for which right now I use a very old/crappy/non-android phone).
So far my experience with the Wildfire S hasn't been stellar (standard HTC rom): the lack of memory made it very hard to really enjoy it: every time an update popped up it was a struggle to get it to install properly.
So I would like to take the opportunity to clear up the phone and install a more ... "comfortable" rom.
I don't have huge requirements: some simple games for the kids to be entertained, some music, check the news ...
My absolute preference is to have a rom that uses very little memory in order to forget about all the headaches I had in the past ~2 years.
So, I started looking for the roms available. My oh my: talking about choice! It's great, of course, but choosing is not straightforward.
Looking here (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2068879) I see that there is such thing as a "Slim rom" which sound quite attractive from where I am sitting.
So the question is: SlimCM10 o "standard" CM10 (like this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2136011).
Roms like "ParanoidAndroi" don't seem too attractive to me, not on a screen as tiny as that of the wildfire S.
I would like someone's opinion on this. Perhaps I should look at totally different roms ...
Suggestions?
Thanks!
You have quite a few options.
If you want your kids to play games on, I wouldn't recommend even the SlimCM10 because all it does is removes certain unneeded alps in system. I'm on the normal CM10 and it does lag at times.
CM7 is a good alternative, since it is gingerbread, everything works.
If you want to do a little more work, you can check out the Customized stock ROMs by Crossfire77 and me. They're compatible with most tweaks including the famous v6 Supercharger. After you install this ROM you can install v6 Supercharger, Adrenaline Engine, Pimp my ROM tweaks and even an app called Seeder.
These tweaks and apps will work on all afore mentioned ROMs and will reduce lag by a lot.
Since just CM7 is a bit laggy, installing Seeder would do the trick and you can play games just fine.
You can also look at other sense based ROMs like Wildchild.
Good luck!

Hi Lt Win,
thanks for your input: they make sense to me.
Perhaps I'll give first a shot to CM10.* (I see you're on Jelly King, which is CM 10.0, if I understood correctly): do you have memory issues? (I am worried that newer versions of Android are more demanding, in terms of memory, than older ones).
The reason being that I would prefer keeping ICS/JB type of interface on all my phones, which would make it easier to maintain.
The Nexus 4 is on 4.2, I plan to update the HTC Sensation to the latest CM once I familiarize myself with the whole procedure using the Wildfire S as a guinea pig.
Lag is also not a huge issue: as it is today is acceptable (of course, less is better) as I don't plan on using it intensely.
I don't plan to install particularly taxing games: my kids are young so memory game, coloring stuff ... that's plenty.
I'll research more on what are the issues with JB on the Wildfire S and then I'll make the final decision. I can always go back to CM7 if I don't like how it "feels". In which case, I'll go for your custom rom.
Best regards.
Edit: love the jetpack avatar by the way. I like that game!

Memory issues, well not so much. I get ~100mb free space on install, and a few apps would probably fill it up. I recommend partitioning your SD Card, flashing a script called INT2EXT so whatever size your partition is, your internal memory will be that much. Battery life is a bit of a problem, I must say. There's more on Mobile Data than WiFi, so you would want to use WiFi more.
Again, seeder, adrenaline engine and v6 Supercharger can nearly kill the lag. Of course, games will be a bit laggy. Heavy games, that is.
The issues on JB are:
*Panorama is weird.
*Camcorder has very low frame rate.
*No USB Tethering. (Using phone as a modem)
ICS issues:
*No camcorder - Wrong colour output.
* Panorama is weird / doesn't work. (I don't remember that well)
*No USB tethering.
CM7 issues:
*Slightly worse camera than stock.
*No USB Tethering.
This should help out on choosing.
P.S. I love Jetpack Joyride, its too much fun!

Man, you're a well of info. Thanks! (yes, I clicked the button too)
I plan on using almost exclusively WiFi. In fact, I may get rid of the data altogether (it's the secondary phone after all).
I won't need to use the camera much: mostly still photos for "work" related stuff, so I don't plan to use panorama or camcorder.
Also, no USB tethering.
Which clears me for both ICS and JB.
What I really need the phone for is:
- sync contact (this is actually quite crucial, even though it seems like a trivial feature)
- occasional mail check
- still photos in well lit environments
- listen to podcasts
- occasional gaming
- "portable" storage device
If I can ask one last question about the battery consumption: are you saying that it is especially bad on ICS/JB roms? As in, noticeably worse than with stock gingerbread?
If so, is this also a problem with custom gingerbread roms?
I get a fairly decent battery life with the stock rom, so this was not one of my primary concerns.
Thanks again.

The battery life is a problem with data on, so if you're using wifi you're good. However, battery life on standby is much better than stock but if you use data with screen on a lot, you'll get quite a good amount of battery drain.
Other than that, it's just fine. And I would recommend the following custom ROMs:
Gingerbread - Wildchild (based on stock) , CM7.2
ICS - CM9 Alpha 9.
JB - Jelly King, Speed Droid. Although I love jelly king. Ext partition is recommended on ICS and JB. Use INT2EXT.

Infromation About CrossBreeder-
- This is a new take at Android lag reduction. It's lightweight and won't consume battery. Users have reported drastic improvements in usability and even benchmark scores. It will show noticeable improvements - Android devices from Donut to Froyo to Gingerbread to Honeycomb to ICS and Jellybean.
- This is a combination of 5 different methodologies to reduce Android lag.
- Removal of DNS lag . A lot of the lag in a lot of apps, apart from the GUI lag, is due to slow DNS querying, specially on the mobile network.
- CrossBreeder now runs a caching, parallelising DNS client on the device. So now most of your DNS queries will be served from the cache and if not found, the query will be sent in in round robin fashion to multiple DNS servers including Google DNS, OpenDNS and your home router and the reply will be served to you, hot.
- This speeds up network access and networked apps, like Browsers of course, and Tapatalk, Gmail and thousands of others drastically. And removes a lot of the lag where it was due to DNS querying. This will not increase your network or download speed but pages will load much faster.
- This will future proof your devices as more and more apps start using HTML5 and/or reside completely as web pages or the like.-
I Just thought, there are some great developers in our forum, with great tweaks, geared for their own specific purpose, and i thank them. I HAVE asked for permission to use these tweaks, to make a pack of the best, from the best taking a few of those great tweaks and putting them in one lightweight package. Now , I did NOT create any tweak in this pack. That is why introductions and thanks are in order.

Test Init.d With The "21 Test-init.d" script
-THINGS YOU NEED-
Rom Toolbox (free or pro)
Root Access (superuser access) for Rom Toolbox
ComaDose Already Flashed
-Steps-
After ComaDose flash, if you want to check if your init.d is functioning properly you can check it with the 21 test init.d script...
After flash the test init.d script has already ran (on startup) now thwe sole purpose of this script is to show whether or not init.d
is properly functioning.
When this script is ran (executed) as all scripts in init.d are upon startup, it creates a file in the /data folder.
so why dont we take a look for it?
Using Rom Toolbox, go to the "root browser" tab (upon first startup youll be prompted to SuperUser permissions, Allow this)
Once in Root Browser youll be in the root of your device by default. ( / )
Click on the "Data" folder..
In the /Data folder, were looking for "Exit Only Init.d" file
if you see this file, your init.d is working and all scripts are running ...
If you dont see this file after reboot (post flash) you can execute the "21 test Init " script manually...
back out to the root of the phone, go into "system", then into "etc" then into the "init.d" folder and locate the "21_testinit.d" script, press on it , bringing up this menu.
press the "open as" tab, bringing up this menu...
then press the "script file" option..
Then you want to press the "execute Script" option, making sure the "execute as root option is checked, as shown below.
which will then execute the script using init.d support to do so.. looking like this
after its executed, go back into /data and find the "Exit Only Init.d" file if its there your init.d is working....

the stock gps.conf works quite well but has those sensor settings in it which seem to estimate your movement with accel and gyro sensor
i myself edited the stock gps.conf slightly with the help of crypteds agps patch which i think saves me 2-5 sec for a fix. but normally i get a fix in less than 10 seconds. so theres no problem with gps at all and i didn't see any complaints about it.
https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/33668449/gps.conf
also i dont get why you would want to change the lmk values. this phone has 2 gb of ram. most people dont even manage to get them full. theres no need to tweak things that don't need to be tweaked. nobody here has a problem with ram.
no offense meant but for me this looks like some randomly thrown together tweaks. you didn't even take the stock gps.conf from the s4 but some gps.conf from some random old smartphone.

what i most definitely will notice are interferences with the settings of the kernel i installed. you should mention somewhere that the rom one is using should be as stock as possible. no kernel tweaks or something from other devs. then some of these tweaks might work well.
i just already have seen the whole generic tweak package thing generating problems like crazy.
how can you guarantee it will work? did you even have testers on the s4?
