Hi folks.
How can I update my FXP114(CM7) to FXP116(CM7) without any loss of data?
and while updating can I fix the problem that my LT18i is recognized as LT15i?
Thanks in advice and sorry if there already was a thread about it..

Flash the boot.img(inside fxp116.zip) with fastboot and then install fxp116.zip with cwm. No data should be lost, but to be safe make a backup first
To change from LT15 to LT18, just edit build.prop, its in system.

After charging: 100%, 5 minutes later 94% left, by just having it in standby..
Someone tell me the difference please?

So here we go, i've got 2 arc's wright... unlocked the first one, flashed the 1.86ghz kernel and lost wifi and bluetooth... flashed some firmwares, doomlords kernel so lost track on where I lost my wifi...
sick of the laggy performance, sick of the lack of normal memory capacity, so unlocked the other arc and only flashed the 1,86ghz kernel, hoping it wouldnt lose wifi and bluetooth... #bummer...
So, what to do next, how do I get my wifi and bluetooth working again?
Someone got an idea bout what to do?
just flash stock rom, then pre-rooted img. and start again. may be a corrupted file.

Hi guys,
sorry for the noob question, and for the english too.
I've an xperia arc s lt18i, firmware stock 4.0.2.A.0.62, baseband 64.
I installed doomkernel v19, with the cwm v5.0.2.7, installed cm 9 and gapps from the zip (after a full wipe) it doesn't work. The phone freeze in the Doomkernel Screen. I've tried also cm 7 and the problem is the same. With Miui ROM it works without problems, so, what is the error?
Should I use another Kernel/baseband/fxp version/brain?
thx
I sugges you to move to CM7's own kernel. It will save you from headaches ;-)

If im not mistaken, arc s android 4.0.4 is not rootable unless you flash the kernel from version 4.0.3/build 562. Try looking around, there are tons of thread about rooting the android 4.0.4

What they said was right. That file will help you root your phone by exploiting a loophole in the .562 kernel.
So flash the kernel and you're good to go.

Its simple, have you unlocked it??
if yet...and you want to do this with all risk try to do this
Press dial phone
*#*#7378423#*#*....when it said Bootloader unlock : yes
Its mean u can unlock your bootloader..then go to this tutorial, remember you will avoid your guarante, but after that you can flash any amazing custom ROM...
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=12873655
Or if just want to keep on stock..I suggest you to reflash the stock rom/firmware..follow the instruction carefully..
EDIT : sorry..just forgot that u get bootloop
So just doing last step : reflash the firmware...

the problem is that the phone is stuck at sony logo. so i wont be able to unlock the bootloader as it needs the dial pad...
I have been flashing this phone with LT18i_4.1.B.0.587_Kernel.ftf but no progress is seen.
i dont have much info about bootloop and bootloader?
what instructions do i need to follow. could you guide me stepwise.
thanks a lot for the help you've been providing so far !

Hello everyone,
I am working on building a flashable 6.1.A.2.55 for Xperia SL LT26ii. Many of my users have told me that the USB was not working. When I tested it myself on my Xperia S LT26i ( not SL ) even my USB was not working. Tried all the solutions of force stopping MTP-app but to no avail. Not only that, my phone was not even getting charged with a wall charger!
I took the updater-script for my rom from here - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2005595
I am sure that there must some missing symlinks are permissions. Any ideas? Does anyone have the updater-script for a stock ICS based rom for Xperia SL LT26II?

Do you also experience this USB problem? Because I figured out that the problem was in the rom itself. I was extracting the rom from Xperia SL's FTF in Windows which caused the problem. When I extracted it on linux, then the USB started working.
