Ok so I'm using twitter for HTC sense cause I like the widget (I actually like sense a lot) and everything is working except auto syncing. I can press the sync button on the widget to have it sync manually but I cant for the life of me find out how I can set it to say auto refresh every X minutes.
Anyone knows where I can set autorefreshing times ?

Hi, I have a Sensation running a One S port and having the same issue, so I think is HTC related. We have to wait for them to fix it.

OK for the first time since I had this phone which is almost a year I installed sprint lovers which I usually use onto my replacement phone and actually got notifications like wall posts and pictures to pop up in my notification panel on my phone and they would be instantly pushed as soon as they happened. Usually the only notification that did show up in my notofication panel were messages events and friend requests but never actual notifications like wall posts and tags from facebook and I'd get them at the refresh intervals set on facebook app. Well I installed cm7 and it wont do that anymore I can't get the instantly pushed notifications. I know there is away somehow since I finally managed to get it on sprint lovers but I have no clue how I did it. So any help

Open Facebook app, hit menu, then setting, then notification. Change the sound from silent and put check marks in some boxes

thats not going to do it. the boxes are for messages friends and events. None for wall posts photos tags ACTUAL notifications. and adding a sound doesnt make them pop up in my notification panel
Well push notifications finally started suddenly working for me on CM7. I can't tell you why it works now but for what it's worth I have refresh set to never, notifications active with notification ringtone set to silent. My contacts are also synced. If those settings don't work adjust your settings in your facebook account perhaps.
Guess it happend to you too what version are you running maybe it's the version that works

Try going menu>settings>apps and find Facebook. Click it and clear data/cache. Reboot your phone and see if that helps. It ussualy fixes things in a lot of apps for me. And if that doesn't work and your rooted go into rom manager and fix permissions. Reboot after that and hopefully it will work for you. Hope this helps

did you restore it from titanium or did you just re download it from the market. because i have noticed when switching between roms types (which for me is like every 3 days or less haha) such as sense to aosp or 2.2 to 2.3 etc some apps have some left over data from previous installations (if using titanium) and it messes with other roms. like when i switched from cm7 (aosp) to myn's warm twopointtwo (2.2 sense) 2 days ago about a good half of the apps i restored didn't work.
nope i always download it from the market
Flow is good for push notifications, you have to set it up through your email account. I've never had the stock Facebook app work right. If I actually used Facebook more than once a month I might care.
I think the name of Flow just changed to Friend Caster or something, if you're interested in looking it up.

Somehow it pushes notifications again didn't do anything. So maybe they finally worked out push notification because since day one of the evo release it didn't work and now this is the second time in 2 weeks it works

I'm using Green Power Premium on the HTC One X and even though it's been great for me on the HTC Desire, I'm having a problem on my new One X.
I've set the app to start automatically when the phone is switched on, but it doesn't seem to do that. So I have to choose the app myself every time i restart.
Is this a problem anyone else has experienced?
works great for me... make sure you don't use the task manger. its kills it. its worth checking it is not disabled with any auto start manager apps too. using sense or cm9 roms, im all good...
also its worth clearing data/cache and setting it up again for the one x.
I just switched off fast boot, and it seems to have remedied it.
Hi,
am I the only one who's screen sometimes doesn't respond when waking the phone up? When I push the power button another two times it works as it should. I'm on the latest LeeDroid (but it also happened with JDroid).
Anyone else with the same problem?
Thanks!
Just happened to me 10min ago. I tried to wake it and nothing, thought it died. Pressed power a few times and it woke
Hope this can be fixed.
This happened to me also I'm on stock though. Happened a few times tbh

this happened to me while playing who games but the screen had been on for a while so i don't know if its hardware or the game's issue
Imaginary Range
Mechinarium
Hm, this is really annoying and I'm not sure whether it's a hardware or software problem since it's always disappearing by switching the screen off and on again...
download a drawing software from the market and make sure every part of your screen takes user touch event.

It's definitely software-related. Since I'm on CM9 (TripNRaVeR) this problem never happened again.
Hey Guys,
Try this for partially non responding htc one x touch screen:
--> Apps
Disable:HTC Weather Provider / HTC weather sync provider / maps / Weather / Weather Widget
Reason: my case: device working ok before upgrades. malfunction was logically software related. Few trial-errors. Solution as indicated.
cheers
This happens if charging through an extension lead. Any other time could just be caused incidental on a software stutter.

i'm having same problem, htc one x in vietnam. So what is the solution? I tried shipped rom, 1.26, 1.28, 1.29 stock rom; and now android revolution 7.0.0, leedroid 6.4.0, insert coin 6.4.5 rom having the problem too
Same problem here (still).. Let's hope the Jellybean update will fix it
There are threads like this already.
It does happen to many users. I had this problem too, but it is gone with 2.17 . This is charger related stuff

Even i have the same issue...dont know a solution to this.
Happens on all HTC devices running android.

But why? If it happens on all htc devices running android, why so?
And is there any way to change it?
I was wondering this question too. Is there no way to change this? It seems very pointless to not have any options for when to turn it off/keep it on (5mins, 10mins, etc, never). If anyone knows of an app or setting that could fix this I'd be willing to try it, it's my one, huge complaint about this phone (even my 4 or 5 year old blackberry blinked forever without issues and battery drain). Are there no fixes on previous HTC devices?

all HTC devices is false, it may (don't own a sensation) just be the one series, my HTC desire HD kept blinking until the battery ran out.
not sure why nobody has fixed this but since most of the rom/kernal wizard's are playing with the one-X and have not fixed it i'd say it's not as easy to fix as we'd all hope.
it is of course utterly useless, if i'm playing a game or i'm at work the chance that i check my phone within 5 min of anything happening is slim to none a really mind boggling decision from HTC.
perhaps they just opted for cheaper notification LED's in the one series and this is there way of making sure they don't burn out any time soon.
is it not to do with the phone going into deep sleep?
Easiest solution is just install Missed Reminder from the marketplace. It will keep the LED blinking for as long as you want. Works a treat on my HOX.

hmm odd, i've had my desire HD blinking before i went to bed (couldn't be asked to check it) and it was still blinking in the morning, and there were many occasions where i just ignored it and it kept blinking for hours.
then again my desire HD was S-OFF with ARHD and another kernel within a week of when i got it, perhaps ARHD or the kernel changed that
Missed Reminder is not working on my One X with Stock O2 Rom
Tried "Missed Reminder" but it needd to be turned on each time I soft reser my devic, it doesn't auto start, and secondly it only works for sms and miss calls, there are tons of other important notifications like facebook, email, viber, whatsapp ,......
Tried light flow but it sucks on One X, waiting for working release, I believe this is the best approach
Tried other applications, same as Missed Reminder but it does autostart
So no soloution for One X for now apparently, and still waiting for working Light Flow
I just saw this thread, and recognized the problem I have, too.
Desire that I had before had persistent and bright notification LED, while HOX seems to be failing on it.
The only notification I get is when battery is fully charged (green LED).
There is no charging notification, or missed call notification, or received SMS/email notification.
First, I thought it was the ROM bug (RENOVATE 3), but I see now that it's hit others, too.
:crying:
Reading through the thread I realize there's nothing we could do to fix it?
Or I missed something?
Kinds of to blink or not to blink dilemma here.
Either sides would get some people complaining about it..
Hello XDA friends,
I have some sort of a problem. My HTC One X with the wifi settings set to "never wake up" suddenly started waking up after maybe 3-4 hours, as in every 3-4 hours. It's like something is scheduled to make it wake up, but it ain't. I didn't install any app which would do that.
It's 4.1.1 stock JB with the mini update that came along after the JB one. I did a factory reset after the mini update.
It's just strange.
What can i do, other than factory reseting it again? it's not such a pleasure to install every app and setting them.
I think it is htc smart sync if you don't want wifi disable it
i thought of that, BUT it was on or should is say with the default settings before this started.
