Did u wipe cache and data before flashing Cow V2? mine is working properly.

yes i did wipe everything. i even formatted my external sd card just to be safe. but when i tried using my Bluetooth stereo headset i cant make it to work
anything i can try to solve this issue???
It seems I have the similar problem. Won't work with my headset, pc, carstereo, everything. It "turns on" in the interface, but dosent work properly.
Did you paired your Bluetooth stereo to your phone?

Mine is working fine with my bluetooth stereo headset. I'm using the Bionic Cow 2 OC version.
BT HID problem
This migh be related to other bluetooth problems. You can try this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1502638 This did not help me, but migh help to you.
Anyway - after any ROM change it might be a good idea to pair again all Bluetooth devices.
I cant pair my handset, because my phone wont find any devices at all. It looks like it turns on like normal and I can make it visible, but I wont find any devices or other devices wont find my phone.
Pretty annoying since I recently bought a neat pair of Sennheiser BT headphones.

...my Headset Sony Ericsson Bluetooth VH410 is working fine with the Bionic Cow 2 Rom. I did not had to reconnect it in any way.

Rumor has it that the VP3G rom has less bluetooth issues.

Never had any problems with 4.01 with my headset (Plantronics 590).
I also use Schaps_WM6Pro_WWE_4.01_Full rom and have Sony DR-BT21G (bluetooth headset). That is working without any problems: stereo sound & switching to phone calls automatically.
I only have to activate the wireless headset in bluetooth setup every time.
Thanks guys i bought a ipod bletooth Dongle and the stupid headset is not working with that as well... i need to send it back for replcement...

I posses a sgs2 with a bluetooth problem... I have no problem pairing or connecting to the car kit (pioneer DEH7350BT)
but when I do, and making/recieveing a call, I can hear the other side just greatly but the other side CANNOT hear me.... I have tried everything... and YES it do work with other phones (such as Se Naite, iphone 4 and etc) those other phones are working great with it (the other side CAN hear me)
but with my sgs2 it doesnt...
also sgs2 wont let me transmit music using the bluetooth...
any solution anyone? please? I have tried everything! pairing and unpairing, tried few diff roms, taking out battery, tried EVERYTHING...
please help...

I doubt it's that important you have to bump the thread every hour or so.
Unpair both devices completely and repair them again. It might not be pairing both modes.
You can also see if HFP is enabled in the /etc/bluetooth/audio.conf file via the Root Explorer app.
I use music and handsfree just fine with my SGS2 and my cheap Panasonic head unit. If the 2 options aren't there under the bluetooth device, then it's a pairing issue.
I have paired my device several times in various cars and never had to do any special configuration. I've always worked fine for the first try.

Does your phone pair properly with other car based bluetooth?
If not, it may be the kernel.
I had successful pairing with my original dlev rom in both of my cars and intermittent problems answering or my the other side could not hear my voice. Solution was to switch the kernel.

If you're having that much problem with it, pick up wired headphones with mic (or use the ones that came with the phone). I switched from bluetooth to these and will never look back.
but i need to use bluetooth due to the car's speakers....

Bluetooth is car is always a matter of luck to me.
Feling lucky because I can manage it with my SG2 better than with my previous phone, the original I7000 galay

Are you 100% sure the car player has compatible a2dp music streaming?
If so then both headset and media options should be available in the Bluetooth pairing options.

It is not the phone, it's your dash unit. You'd be better off contacting Pioneer or whoever makes your aftermarket unit.
My SGS2 has sync'd and made calls perfectly via BT since day 1 with my Nissan GT-R... everything is stock Nissan though.

I have been trying to make my bluetooth headset work with my phone (it actually worked many times with other roms and even the one that I'm using right now) the thing is that the headset pairs correctly but when I play music (it does actually detect the music control buttons on the headset) it plays it on the mobile speaker... I still don't know what it can be causing it so, what do you think I could do to fix it?
I have the same issue using my Vizio Bluetooth headset on a CM9 ROM. Not sure why this happens, as the sound works fine when paired with my ASUS Slider.

Hi guys,
I just bought a platronics m25 bluetooth headset.
i'm paring it with my gs3 running 2.1.2
problem is i cant seem to figure out how to turn off the microphone on my phone, when talking on the headset.
when engaged to a call, my phones mic and my headsets mic both work, thus creating an echo , hearing myself talk = very annoying.
is there any kind of setting im missing? maybe an app that can solve the issue?

I have a bluetooth dongle in my car which connects via the Aux In socket and this streams music through the speakers. When the phone rings it also comes through the speakers, however I cannot be heard by the caller, so I assume the phone's microphone is being disabled. When hardwired between phone and Aux In the microphone does not shut off. I have played around in the settings on the phone and cant see anything which helps, can anyone advise if it is possible to configure the phone to keep the microphone on.

ON the same situation I have working microphone it is not disabled. Tested many times in my car befor on stock and ARHD with different kernels, try change rom and see if the problem is still there

Many thanks for that. I will try some different ROMs and kernels, (although s2w is even more important !)
I have tried Magio Rom also upgraded to Venom 4.0.7 and also stock, Alex V and Lyapota's kernels but still the same issue no microphone when connected to bluetooth, you can switch to speakerphone or normal use and the microphone works just not when connected by bluetooth. Can anyone advise if this is likely to be a ROM or Kernel issue... many thanks

i have the same situation and same issue on SGS3 with omnirom 442. i assumed it was a functional limitation of A2DP
