You posted in the wrong section..Post them in General Section next time..
Anyways,It seems you didnt enter the combination correct...
1) Make Sure your phone is off(atleast screen is black)..if you are stuck in boot screen Hold Volume UP+POWER+Home Button for about 10-20 seconds till you notice the phone getting its screen black/getting off
2) After the screen is black, Hold Volume UP+power+Home till u get the "SAMSUNG GT S-5360 LOGO" and release them..you should be in recovery mode..
If you arent in recovery still you need to reflash using stock firmware of your region..
Go to :
http://www.sammobile.com/firmware/
Search for GT-S5360 and download the latest stock firmware of your region(country carrier)
Reflash the downloaded files using ODIN ..Follow this guide if you dont know how to flash:
http://androidadvices.com/update-samsung-galaxy-s5360-dxkj3-gingerbread-236-firmware/2/
Dont use the firmware given in the above page..Just follow the instructions in it
Flash it and youre done..It must bring your device back to normal state with stock ROM and stock Kernel...
same happen with me i am on repencis v.3 and merruk techno 1.0.8 and i want to intall weui rom i entered in recovery mode and i just and nothing happen i back to stock kernel
Merruk kernel doesnt support all ROMS..Even though Recovery MUST work..I experienced the same but it happens when it tries to boot normally NOT recovery recovery must work fine..
Some people are experiencing problems flashing custom ROMs in Merruk Kernel..
Merruk Kernel is stable with Hybrid 4.0 ..Better wait as Merruk is updating his kernel to 1.2..

i'm trying to install a stock rom that i took from this link:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1465800&page=65
but are 15 minutes that is frozen on a certain percentual and odin is on BcmCP.img...
i've used the first rom:
S5360_XXKK6_OXXKK2_XXKK5
European multilanguage build.
based on: S5360XXKK6_S5360OXXKK2_RST_S5360XXKK5_HOME.tar.md5
ro.build.date=Wed Nov 23 21:52:07 KST 2011
ro.build.version.release=2.3.6
Supported languages:
XX = de,en,es,fr,hu,it,nl,pt(cs,da,el,fi,no,pl,sl,sv,tr )
Included CSCs: (Default is XEU)
ATO AUT COS CPW CYO CYV EIR EUR FOP ITV MOO PAN PHE SUW TPH XEF XEH XEO XEU XEZ XSK
This build does not contains any provider specific bloatware.
What i've to do? stop it and try other rom?
You should flash back to stock rom. go to Doky's thread and look for your firmware.
ask doky (pm him) if you encounter any problems.
This is really easy even if you have custom kernels + ROM.
1. Turn off your phone
2. Press Home key + Volume up key + Power button
3. Your phone will turn on and will show you "Samsung Galaxy Young GT-S5360" or a green android logo if you are using Merruk's Kernel.
4. Once you see number 3, press the button combination exactly as stated on number 2, after a second or two, you are in recovery mode.
PS. I'm new to Android modding and still learning stuff, but has anyone ever think that the recovery mode is stored somewhere inside your phone and not on your SD Card? Cause if it does then you won't have recovery mode if you don't have an SD Card. My point is, whether your SD Card is partioned or not and even if you don't have, you have recovery mode.

Try running logcat...
Before this you must have android sdk & drivers.
1. Turn off your phone.
2. Open command prompt & cd to android-sdk/platform-tools/
3. Type 'adb logcat' without quotes & enter.
4. It will wait for the phone, now connect your phone to the pc using usb and switch on the phone.
You can get more info about why you are stuck at the logo, then again run it using recovery combination & see output.
Install something like 4ext recovery..

did You tried another ROM ?
I had this kind of issue in the past when mixed up different kernel, rom and speedmod or something. Just try download stable ROM from XDA and try to flash step by step via ODIN.
I'm sure You be successful.
Calm down it is not bricked it is not working because given above.
HERE You have list of workin ROM list. Now I'm on Debus and recomend it.
Flash Stock Froyo Software with Odin
Flash the XXXJPU again with ODIN.
You have to Press Vol Down + Home + Start Button.
Then open Odin.
Connect Your Samsung Handy to PC
If Odin doesn't recognize your Handy, download the samsung USB driver
If you successfull flashed the XXXJPU, put the MIUI6vxxx File and Samsung EFSBackup data onto your sd card.
and Then you can flash the new MIUI Firmware.
At first flash speedmod 500hz with odin as PDA
then go to recovery and install zip : galaxy efs backup
pull the battery out and start in download mode.
Then Flash cm7 galaxy inital kernel with odin but un tick Auto Restart.
and then wipe data and cache
then install miui6vxx
Didnt work the Vol Down + Home + Start Button. so how can I fix?
try this, plug your phone to your pc, if your phone is detected properly, use this and use the reboot download script. If this doesn't work, I can bet 50000000$ that your phone is not bricked. The fact it's loading make me sure it's aint bricked. Buy a jig on ebay, turn your phone off ( Pull the battery ) plug the jig, and you will be in download mode. Reflash a stock firmware with bootloader. This will mostly fix your problem. Next time, ask in general or Q&A, this place is only for development. Have a nice day.

Pull battery out for 30 secs. Then retry repacing battery and holding the volume down, power and home button until download mode appears. Should get you there no problems.
I would download gti9000b firmware from xda and flash from Odin to get a stock firmware. Remember to repartition and load bootloaders to make sure everything is "as is should be"
From what I see in the video I'm guessing you have gingerbread bootloaders on CM kernel/CWM which don't work at all. you may just get away with flashing a chainfire CWM kernel from download mode with Odin but it may be too screwed up with the cyanogenmod stuff and need a complete Odin firmware flash as above.

You need a GT 9000B ROM/kernel. If you lost your combo, must try with hairdryer or jit tag.
I feel yr pain mate, but I would urge you to post this in the correct section - q&a or general. The stickies are quite clear.
I'm glad so many people have helped you, many such posts in the development section have gone unanswered.

Stuck in a boot loop?
Is it still able to boot into CWM(Recovery Mode) or Download Mode.
If it's still able to go back into Download Mode, you don't need this software.
Just turn your Captivate into the Download Mode and flash back to STOCK Eclair or Froyo using Odin 1 Click or whatever similar.
"
where can i get the stock Eclair or Froyo android rom?
Can you get into the recovery menu? (Hold home + Power).
If yes, try factory reset again and also clear the Cache Partition
Also, which roms did you try to flash?

Not sure where to get Éclair or Froyo from, but you can get Gingerbread from here
(go to hotfile.com/dl/156197872/2b59195/S5660XXKTL_S5660DBTKT1_DBT.zip.html)
This is Gingerbread 2.3.6 from Samsung
you will need to extract the zip and then flash the ROM using odin
I have successfully flashed this ROM twice this week.

One of the CyanogenMod ROM's may work for you
Not sure where to get one that you can flash with odin though; would be worth having a look through the Gio's "Android development" forum.

If you don't know what you're doing, don't do it! Ask before you do it.
Follow the tutorial below to unbrick your phone.
Enter CWM (press and hold Home + Volume Up + Power button, when the Samsung logo appears, release the Power button and keep pressing Home + Volume Up buttons) and:
select "clear data/factory reset"
go to "mounts & storage" and format /system. This is extremely important!
under the same menu, format /sdcard (be careful NOT to format /external_sd by mistake)
restart into Download mode (restart, press and hold Home + Volume Down + Power buttons)
flash Samsung stock ROM via ODIN Multidownloader
reboot your phone (it will probably automatically reboot anyway after ODIN finishes flashing the stock ROM)
Oh, and by the way, if you would have followed this tutorial when flashing those 3 custom ROMs, your 3G connectivity might have worked and you wouldn't have gotten into this kind of troubles by trying to flash stock ROM over custom ROM without wiping the most important component of any ROM (the /system folder!).

I think you mixed up something.
Volume down+home+power button is download mode. Which is for odin flashing purpose.
I do believe you wanna root your phone by update thru recovery. The 3e recovery is samsung stock recovery, you can root your phone thru update related file.
To flash or install rom thru sd card you must be in custom recovery not the 3e stock recovery. That means you must be root your phone 1st thru stock recovery.
Use search button and find * dr.ketan note 2 rooting guide. It is most comprehensive guide to newbie. ( and remember to press thanks button on dr.ketan tread.)
Warning: check you model thru antutu scores before do anything.
Good luck mate.

Im really have no ideal at all. Although I knew same of the devices like korean galaxy s having different way to boot into download mode if compare with galaxy s international model.
If I were u, I will :

- flash related stock rom thru pc odin.
- root devices with cf root thru pc odin .
And see what happen.

I just want to know how to install recovery then I will all set.
How can I flash the related stock when I can't get into the downloading mode?
This is my first post:silly:
I would like to ask do I need a stock 4.1 android before flashing CM11. No website says such a thing but the original thread says yes.
Also how to install CWM on Xperia m because I am lost...:silly:
Please help and thanks if anyone does
Oh and also how to get back to stock 4.1.2 then
Not necessary, but if something goes wrong while flashing custom ROM, you will need that stock ROM to flash.
It is always good to have stock firmware..
for the CWM, first of all you need to unlock your bootloader.(i assume that you unlocked it.) and download cwm file and extract it on desktop then go to flashtool and conect your mobile in fastboot (use volume + key) blue light will appear.
click on flash button- fastboot- flash kernel.after finish start your mobile and start pressing volume + key..you will boot in recovery mode.
Thanks if helped
