I just downloaded pandora, but it keeps force closing. I'm running bonsai4all v2.0 so essentially a dk28 rom. I tried checking the forums but I can't find anything. If anyone can direct me to the right path, id really appreciate it.

Hey all, I just updated to the latest Google Voice that came out yesterday. While I am able to get notifications of new messages, anytime I try to open the app I get an FC. I've tried reinstalling the app and clearing data/cache on it. Has anyone else experienced this and/or found a solution?
Thanks much!
I'm running Bonsai 4.1.3.
i am having the same issue as well. I am also running Bonsai 4.1.3. No idea what is wrong though.
JD
I can't get it to install from the market. Keeps saying not correctly signed.

The new signed inverted one from Decalex is working fine for me...but I am not on Bonsai. Tried it on SRF 1.2, Regen, and ReVolt so far.

I had the FC's with bonsai aswell, switched to random rom and now is working.
Thanks for the responses! I think I'm going to try swapping to another ROM
-__- so it seems like GV isn't working properly with Bonsai because it worked fine with the cm7 beta. damn it, gonna switch back to cm7 beta 1.
I am also on Bonsai; a link in their forums let me install the previous version.

anybody seen or have a link to the newest ver of GV blacked out?
Is anyone else having issues with google music 4.0 on their epic 4g touch?
The issue I am having is every time i try to play a song or playlist, the song has to buffer completely before playing. Not a major issue but still very annoying, especially since i have to constantly have to hit the play button over and over for it to even buffer. Also leaving to another app causes a fail to stream and it has to start all over.
Any help or thoughts would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks
Are you rooted?

Yes I am. I am also running starburst rom 1.9.5
yes, had the same exact issue
just swapped phones though, but letting you know youre not the only one
also on starburst(current latest)
edit: guess we both didnt look, but a few posts down is a fix
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1337003
I had the same issue on starburst. Its a problem with the local hosts or something, and the fix that was provided did NOT work. Installing Calkulins ROM fixed the issue for me, he has implemented the fix into his ROM.

Alright sweet just tried the fix and it worked!! Thanks guys
Just to give a shout to EPEK.WARE and their awesome GPS Doctor app on the market. I have not been able to get a GPS fix on any of the new ICS roms and found this program tonight. Some of the reviews stated that it did or did not work for them but for $1.99 thought i'd give it a go.
To my surprise I went from 1 or 2 sat's in view but not in use to 8+ and all being used! Just thought I'd throw this out there for anyone tired of not getting a GPS lock.

I tried to upload a screen shot but it says its the wrong file extension so I anyone can tell me how to fix that i'll post the pic of the 9 sat's in view and in use. Thanks

Its the new XDA Premium that doesn't let you post screenshots but if you use Tapatalk2 beta it should work...

I'd like to hear a little more feedback before I try it. I wonder what fixes & changes this app makes in order to get gps to work?

A bit late in the reply, but yeah I flashed the FC22 modem (on Blu Kuban Rom btw), updated my PRL and I'm still getting the dreaded "Waiting for location" message when trying to use the Google Maps Navigation app. I'll try the other modems & see if that works.
If anyone cares to try it, this has been around for a while I just made it flashable.
It should work with ICS and GB.
Here is the original thread if anyone wants to reference it:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1381666
Let us know if it works for you. Thanks - TD
Edit: This does not replace anything BTW. It adds a file to one of the system folders. If you want to know exactly what & where, read through the thread I posted above.
That did it. I don't use GPS much (if ever), but it always bugged me that I couldn't get it to work. Thanks.

Thank you. I've used up my thanks for the day, but I'll catch you later.
Very cool guys. Glad it works for you! That's why were here after all.
Bump!
See post #9 for the fix. I know this worked wonders for GB and ICS.
Hope it also works for you folks having issues with JB.
365 downloads and only 3 thanks. Bummer.
Hey TD can I just push this into my /system/lib/hw and set permissions?
On Kobridge's DeOdexed FL16
I have a gps.exynos4.so there already don't know if they conflict or not.
And since my last JB upgrade (from FL04 to FL16) my GPS has gone to sh^t. And I've tried just about everything already. Could be hardware but hoping just the same.

For JB flash the one I attached.
Hey LB. This just adds a new file and doesn't replace anything. Jellybean is real weird about setting permissions sometimes on flashed files so this zip sets the permissions for you (only difference is permissions are set with this one).
Oh, and let us know how it goes.
Edit: BTW, I'm not having issues but I flashed it anyway and had GPS lock before I even stepped outside the front door.
I'll do it now.
Thanks for the quick reply.
Here's hoping...
Well still didn't get any GPS app to lock. Google maps works but that always had, though poorly and loses connections if navigating.
On the plus side (at least for now anyways) any GPS app I open (FasterGPS, GPS Status & Toolbox etc.) will actually close and stop searching.
Previously if I installed these and tried to get a location - even just on google maps they would launch in the backround (whether I opened maps or Facebook) and I'd get the 'trying to aquire gps location' thingy running even after closing the app(s).
And the only way to stop that is either go to App Info and force close the System UI or reboot. Turning off GPS and/or all location services does nothing once the search had started.
I guess it's getting down to hardware. Kind of really p.o.'d Got rid of my last phone becuase the GPS stopped working. I guess I'm one of the few who use the snot out of it. I moved to a new area a few years ago and don't know where jack is. And nothing is logically laid out here either.
Thanks again. I'll have to start considering other options. :/
help please
running JB 4.1.2 GB08 google nav is unable to lock on to gps unless I reboot my phone then it will work normal until I use nav again at which point says searching for GPS , any idea on how to fix this
Try updating to GB27 modem, updating PRL and profile. I had issues with GB08 too. Also, try Comadose tweaks Goddly put together. It's in the dev forum. It has a jb gps lock tweak. Good luck!

Hey guys. So the 4.3 camera got released early and it's been all over the place. I found out about it yesterday. Some people have been hit or miss with it. So here's the run down.
I've got the .apk installed and it's in fact working... Except for ffc. Every time I try and take a picture with it phone goes into a hard reset. Quite annoying really. I've moved the apk over to my /system/app folder and im still getting the issue. And I even renamed the original gs3 gallery app to .app . bak and I still can't get her up and running.
It's nifty and I was using photosphere for the first time yesterday was awesome. So just wondering if anyone had any ideas? Running cm10.1 7-6 nightly stock cm kernel (which I need to go back to ktoonz )
Thanks peeps!
