Asswholes . . . naw. If you think those responses are harsh, you haven't spent much time here. They were actually pretty gentle. The alleged "harsh" response not only answered the question, but told the OP how to get more information on the subject by using the search function.
It was proper for the previous post to point out the fact that the OP should follow this forum's rules and guidelines. There are clear forum guidelines on doing a search before posting.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=850273
The guidelines exist for a reason. Otherwise the forum would be overwhelmed with people asking the same questions over and over (making the forum completely useless), like:
How do I root?
What ROM is best?
Will WP7 be ported?
It took me about 30 seconds to find the following, using the search function:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=928133
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=856492
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=846917
But to summarize, it wouldn't be IMPOSSIBLE per se. But it would be a huge effort, since there are no hardware drivers and WP7 is closed source.
Seeing as this is a discussion about XDA and not about general phones, I thought this is the most appropriate place to put this thread. I have also checked for similar threads but have found nothing.
If a mod thinks otherwise I am sorry for posting in the wrong place.
I have created this thread as you can probably tell, to ask why there is no iOS in the listed platforms on XDA.
With iOS on XDA the site itself will recieve: - A much much larger audience
- More users
So why not include it.
This is not a request even though it may seem like it. There is obviously a reason as to why there is no iOS and I simply want to root it out. Even if it only takes one or two posts and the thread has to be moved around by mods for posting in the incorrect place.
Please contribute to the thread. I have also created a poll. If you do not have time to leave a comment, use the poll.
Anything relating to iOS can be found on XDA's sister site, forum.iphone-developers.com. The reason they don't put that section on this site is because it would inevitably cause too many flame wars between iOS fanboys and Android fanboys.

Why people cannot just accept ios as simplicicty and android as power I just do not know.
I wouldn't know because I've never owned an apple product. I've only ever used them whilst trying to sort problems out for my family & friends who own them.
I just simply couldn't own one because I mainly customize my phone through widgets, launchers etc. There isn't the ability to do that from iOS.

I think they do, just not in the tone that you mean. Discussions of this sort invariably take on a nasty tone due to the scorched earth policy decided upon by one of the involved companies.
On a different note, would you please consider reducing the font size you are using? Honestly, it comes across in exactly the same manner as all caps does by "yelling". I do not believe you mean it that way, but it does come across that way in effect. Thank you.

Thanks for letting me know about the font. I just thought it was clearer for people to read. Now I see why people write in this font so much.
Well at least someone said it.
i have used iphone 3g and 4s but for me iphone is a crap but there are lots of stuffs/mods that you can do with an android phone but you cant do it in an iphone
That is true. I've always loved android for that. But because so many hipsters get iphone. The support is through the roof. Jailbreak will permit anything.

I agree with this, also i belive that iOS has such a large following it needs it's own dedicated forum, as give it a section under platforms would not be enough.

I'm using WP8 on HTC 8S (a pure **** btw)
And i have so many troubles, there are so many sections that i can't post because i have less than 10 posts, even on Q/A thread i can't post (is this a joke? If i can't post anywhere how can i have 10 messages, ridiculous!)
I have paid for the app on WP8 sadly it said all the time there is a network problem or that never refresh correctly, any other app works correctly so that can't be my network anyway.
Also when you haven't the permission to post, WP8 doesn't recognise it, and you can answer, to be more correct, it shows that u can answer but your post is never added and that app is freezing or show network error message.
When i was on Android i never had all those problems.
Too bad WP8 is a pure ****, and this app is the same way.
The 8S is really sh*t ?
Seriously, the community in XDA's WP is not enormous.

No, and no. Xda has nothing to do with Google. We're not just an Android forum. There's lots of other forums for Windows Mobile, Windows Phone, even Windows PCs, as well as several other mobile OSs.
Android is just the most common platform for our users.
Just have a look here to see what's on offer...

There's a server issue that a good portion of members are experiencing via one or more of the Tapatalk, Tapatalk Based (like the app that I'm using that's based off from) and the Labs App's.
I've seen a few posts reflecting that this has been submitted to the XDA "Geek Squad" Guys already.
Just be patient since they have been working on the server to recover from a DDOS attack recently. It just takes time.

When I've got App issues, i just wait a while and, typically, you'll end up seeing issues being reported within areas like the XDA Labs App and even somewhere on the Tapatalk Forum.
It never hurts to ask about it... we can just keep our fingers crossed for a fix soon.

Seems fine now, but really laggy and some threads just refuse to load.
This is strange though. Tapatalk isn't in real time, so the requests from xda are "funnelled" like buffering works for video streaming so what's up with that? (redundant question haha)
For me it still doesn't work, i cannot load XDA forums with Tapatalk. Tried with both normal and Pro version.

I had reported the issues on the Tapatalk Support Forum and was made aware of some server work being done by @MikeChannon as well.
This is now in the hands of either/or the Tapatalk Admins, @bitpushr and @svetius...
I, personally, did what I could to notify those who (i believe) should be notified and anything further (from myself) would just be unprofessional and I also just don't want to go Rubbing/Irritating those who can turn around and do the same thing back at me... LMAO!

Tapatalk subscribing to random XDA forums
I have about a dozen subscribed XDA device forums and starting tonight I'm all of a sudden finding I'm being automatically subscribed to random device forums. I delete them and within a few minutes they're back along with more. All push notifications are off. I had to delete XDA from Tapatalk and resort to the XDA app which is working ok. So do I
I have the same issue, one minute is working then the next one it's not. I guess XDA is limiting their bandwidth with Tapatalk. Maybe I'm wrong.

Since this last Saturday afternoon(ish) I had also noticed a Tapatalk issue slowly getting worse to the point of, today, not able to access XDA at all.
I had first reached out (again) to the Tapatalk Tech Admins who, eventually, got back to me. They had done what my children used to do... Point the finger to someone else (specifically being XDA).
Yesterday, being a Sunday, I had provided all this information to @bitpushr (I'm sure he was happy to know that they pointed to XDA).
I'm going to just be patient and give it some time. We don't know how bad the issue is or how much work is needed to get things straightened out.
