it has been a few days since this problem started.
when i dont use the phone let's say for an hour, when i try to unlock it, the touchscreen is not working and i have to slightly open the gamepad in order to work.
i am afraid it might be a hardware problem because i have tried flashing the 62 firmware again, changing roms (miui, stock based GB roms), changing kernels but problem still remains
I have this problem too on my sk17i! tried changing the roms too even tried the stock
the only difference is mine doesn't work at all even if i try to open the HW keyboard

I have massive problems using WiFi.
If I activate it, the phone spontanously "crashes", means it reacts extremely slow and is totally unusable till restarted.
It's always when WiFi is on, just the time till it starts differs. I've tried some different ROMs (MIUI with LordMods kernel or stock kernel with vanilla ROM-settings and no apps, CM7.1 stable with stock kernel) and also different WiFis and settings and can say it's independent from an established connection, so it also occurs when there is nothing in sight to connect to.
I can't remember since when I got this problem as I only recently activated WiFi again for usage. Before I never had such problems. I accidentally flashed a zip file as a radio some time ago o) and then flashed the right radio again after I got the battery out for some time. Possible the phone got damaged somehow or is there a possibility that it's a software related issue like a module that doesn't work well with more recent radios in combination with my phone?
I tried radios 12.59.60.26_26.11.04.21_M and 12.62.60.27_26.13.04.19_M, same problem.
Thanks
See if the official software works, try to install a 1.32 RUU.
Hi Guys,
I have this strange problem of not able to Initialize Whatsapp application on any AOSP roms.. i have tried many AOSP roms but issue remains same..
however same whatsapp works fine on any AOKP roms..
- Once i tried chaning the Radio somehow it worked.. but after that i flashed a different AOSP rom and it hasnt worked since then..
- I have tried all possible ways of flashing these, super wipe, factory reset... almost everything
- sometimes even USB tethering doesnt work on AOSP roms...
any idea what might me the issue, pls help.
Okay so, first off, I'm not much of a noob in flashing ROMS and tools, I've had a bit of experience with a Samsung Infuse before, now I got this Note 2 and TouchWiz pissed me off, of course, now I need a lolipop ROM, I used ODIN to root and install TWRP recovery, also flashed a 5.1.1 "RESSURECTION" ROM, tried CM12 too, now the thing is, I'm getting a weird lag, this lag occurs randomly, lasts 2-3 seconds, followed up with a weird vibration, yes the vibrator vibrates the fone whenever this lag occurs... Now I tried a lot of stuff, except unlocking the bootloader because I'm not sure if it'll fix it or not, also after a while I noticed that it didn't detect my SIM card, could it be that my phone is refurbished? Everything else works ok but the lag makes it unusable.. The lag occurs on both CM12 and the other ROM so I don't think it's because of the ROM.. I'll revert to stock Kitkat using ODIN, but I really need to fix this. I tried Google for solutions but I can't seem to find anyone else having the same problem... So please help me out here mates
Hello,
I have ran out of options and have tried to flash different roms, kernels etc to try to fix this.
The problem is after booting the device works just fine but anytime it sleeps or I locked it the backlight/screen will not turn back on however I can hear the capactive touch still works (since I can hear it unlocked when I swipe and whatnot).
Anyone have any recommendations on how to fix this issue? It persists rolling back to stock, going to a modified ROMs of multiple types and flashing different kernels. Nothing has so far helped.
Thank you
Ditto
I'm having exactly the same problem did you manage to find a fix for this issue ?
Somebody got the same issue and managed to fix it ? I've changed roms multiple times, checked the camera connection and ultimately replaced the whole module, yet it still persist. Strange. Is there something which could be done, or it is time to sell the rest in parts ?
Does your camera work on stock miui as you've unboxed your device and booted up? Also which roms have you tried, how did you install them, did you have any mod that affect camera, and also were your other sensors not working too? So many questions but these are needed to be able to answer your questions correctly.
