I've been searching my ass of for this... the digital clock widget like in our lockscreen without the white background.. I had this in my 2.3.4 with flamengo's xperia S theme... But it seems impossible to find it for ICS.. I've tried all system apps but no luck so far...
Anyone?
Try some app from market ;-)
i am using AdvancedClock or DigiClock

I downloaded the xperia s dump annd installed Home.apk, ClockWidgets.apk and WidgetPicker.apk
On/Off Tools widget will work, too.
The drawbacks:
It will return to "Gingerbread style" when selecting a widget.
The font colour of "Add and personalise" screen (when selecting to add widget, app, shortcut etc.) is black.
The font size on your homescreen will not follow the font size you chose at Settings (I think this is due to Xperia S Home.apk which is Gingerbread-based)
Weather Widget from Xperia S is installable but I cannot set my location.
I can live with the drawbacks as long as I can use the OnOffTools because I often use Portable Hotspot. And the OnOffTools widget is pretty neat
Thanks for the small tutorial..

I am (have been) looking for a completely clear lockscreen. I want the widgets to update in the background, instead of just showing the wallpaper.. Any ideas?

There's already apps that basically do what you're looking for i.e. widgetlocker as seen here: http://androinica.com/2010/07/16/wa...ckscreen-get-widget-locker-video-app-reviews/
Yeah, I used widget locker, not too big of a fan.. or clear lock from the market. Is there a way to remove the wallpaper that is on there and put a transparent one in its place? I've looked everywhere but no luck lol.

I am looking for the stock "News + Weather" Genie widget, but with the more real looking weather icon. I did find one on here but it uses the old simple/cartoon looking weather graphic.
I thought there was a version with more realistic weather icons on the widget ?
Also is there a semi transparent version ? I have tried the 100% clear Genie widget, and don't like that. Wondering if there is like a 50% or semi transparent version, something like the Venom themed widgets, like half clear, half smoked/shaded ?
Thank you

Sorry, I thought this fell under "themes" or "apps" ? The Genie Widget is an app, and I am looking for it themed.
Anyways...I found this semi-trans version, but it still has the old cartoon weather icon, thought there was a version with the more realistic weather icons ?

So, I believe this to be an Ion issue only, but I'm not totally sure. Upon changing my launcher to Apex, I can no longer access many of the widgets native to the Ion, such as the (extremely convenient) toggle buttons for WiFi/Bluetooth/NFC/Vibrate/etc, the default digital clock widget that is the first thing you see when you first start your shiny new Ion, and many others. Any help on getting these to work in Apex would be a godsend.
Note: I can still change to the Xperia Launcher and see all of the widgets perfectly fine, they're just not available to place from Apex.
Some widgets are native to the xperia launcher, try using power toggles from the market

It is the same with most of the launchers. Widgets from one launcher is not usable on the other. Nothing new.
These widgets are dependent on the launcher.
I miss the walkman widget when using another launcher, so sticking with xperia launcher.

The widgets are only compatibles with the "home xperia" original
Is it possible to unpack the apk and remove the dependencies for the home launcher?

Well, thanks for the help guys.

You could try using ported widgets that are not dependent but doubt there are very many and allot of them don't play very nice unless all Sony stuff is not in the build. I would not mess with it though as you could cause a big problem. Maybe in a few years we will get a unlocked boot haha
I miss the walkman widget.
I bought Transparent Launcher Premium, thinking that it would do it for me. Unfortunately though, it lacks many basic features that I think the developer should have implemented. There is no way to search for an application by name to make it a transparent widget (you have to scroll through all your apps in non alphabetical order), and you cannot make multiple transparent widgets for your app icons (has to be 1 by 1). Lastly, with my Note 2 I can't even have a 1x1 transparent widget, only 2x2. So please guys, any other viable options out there? I like to have a nice wallpaper to look at with most of the apps that I use still on my homescreen.
PS sorry for the rant :silly:
Lightning launcher has the ability to make icons and widgets transparent.

Thanks for the reply. I do not want to switch my home lunched though. I'm a firm believer that most big things on a phone should be stock... runs smoother.

I've problem with trebuchet widget.
When I try to place dashclock widget on the homescreen its displaying 3x1 widget size, instead of 4x1 widget size. Plus, trebuchet unable to resize most of the widget so i cannot make dashclock centered on the homescreen.
I got this problem on some widget. Do you guys have a workaround about this?
Edit: the problem is because i use 200 dpi..
So is there anyway to fix it on 200dpi??

You can try this other launcher -> http://www15.zippyshare.com/v/18126339/file.html
It's the same than Terbuchet, but more customizable... good luck!
Still buggy

you guys should try using google now launcher, and installing "xgels" from playstore. You will need xposed installed but it allows you to customize Google launcher in a lot of ways. It's perfect for me
