I'm in uk,the app is not supposed to support ICS but reading on the tvcatchup forums thetes a few comments on there about people having it working on the one x.the app posted must be corrupt as when I put it on the phone it will not install and says trouble paraising package

Posted Apk appears to be corrupt, used the link above that and it installed fine. Currently watching BBC with no problems

Hi the app is not corrupt as if you download it with the dolphin browser it will turn it into a zip file, so download it with your native browser.
If you want the latest ICS supported Beta version then PM me on the forums.

Does anyone know if it works with the Media Link HD? I won't have an arial point in my room next year so freeview is going to be effort, if I can stream this app though to my TV then I will have no issues. Not really fussed if the quality aint all that, I'm used to SkyGo on Xbox being crap lol

I've Been using it with a MHl cable it works fine although as you say not the best quality picture but I could live on it if I had to, don't see why the media link wouldn't work although I'm sure I read somewhere the earlier media link has issues with the one x

Are you using your phone or a pc . You can just download from your phone my drop box was down for about an hour try again. If it still won't let you I will be more than happy to send it to you by email.

Its the right file if you use astro file manager as soon as the file is done downloading click on it in your notification pull down it will ask what program you want to use to install it then select astro to open it and select the apk and install.
It will look like this you want to install the white apk file labeled i110

The reason why is because I searched Google and came across this website that had an article on it and a download for it. I didnt realize it was a paid app from the market so I took it down. But I will find more and post them. I'm sorry I didn't mean for that to happen.

I guess it is magic, because I just recorded a video.
If you can, isolate the driver files and share them with the rest of the community. I'm sure that there are many people absolutely frothing at the hilt to get ahold of them and incorporate properly working drivers into their roms.
You might want to upload the recorded video just for posterity sake.

If I'v understood correctly, you want a widget to contol Spotify from the homescreens?
Spotify has its own widget. It's installed automatically when you install Spotify.
Spotify includes a widget when you download the app.

It includes "extreme" quality streaming/saving (for offline access). It's much neater to use. It's now just as good (albeit quite simple) as an ordinary music player on Android.
Get a trial and see if you like it?

Well, I have been using Spotify Premium on my Symbian device. I cancelled my subscription because I read about the incompatibility with ICS. But this seems to be fixed now, so I will consider subscribing once again.

How do you get it to show as a lockscreen widget? Use Spotify a lot but not noticed this.
Have you installed the ics version, its only available from the spotify blog, not the play store. I didn't enable anything it just started working, though I am convinced it didn't work right off the bat.

Have got the Beta App installed now... Looks much cleaner than the previous version and its now working on the lock screen which is brilliant. I see it doesn't currently have Last.FM in the settings now though

Thanks. I completely missed this release. I've been using normal spotify on the one x without any problems though (aside from occasional sound glitches when beats was turned on). Hopefully they have finally added landscape mode..
can't get the lock screen widget to work with the spotify ICS beta..
tried opening stock music app first and selecting spotify as suggested above but that did not work either..
is there a generic way of enabling the music widget on the lock screen that i am missing ?

I'm using black version and facing exactly the same issue. All works fine until I try to install anything. Have cleared data, fixed permissions, zipaligned, wiped cache and dalvik and rebooted, but the issue persists. Have to go back to previous version for now. Other than that it all looks good, thanks.

You can just install over a newer version? I thought you had to delete cached copies of the new one as well as the base APK before doing so? I flashed the black version one and no matter what I do, after installing the old one again, a phone restart brings it back to the new black one ): Tried the APK you posted, the old one stays until a phone reset, then it goes back to the new black one in the OP D:
And all "My Apps" seems to have disappeared, although it says Installed in the "All" tab.... ):

Go to settings and applications, then all applications locate the play store and clear data and cache. Go to system/app and remove the app. Reboot and install the old one.

I updated the OP with a .apk download link. Uninstalling and installing the .apk rather than updating worked for me (im on CM10.1 as well)

Thanks for the upload. The market version wouldn't show the video button on my GS3.

I haven't experienced this issue.
Note - It seems that the iphone version is allowing multiple clips and has a stabilization feature while the app for android doesn't. Hopefully well see some fixes soon

On the app information in the play store, it said that not all devices can record video. They will be working on updates to push out support to more devices.

My video recorded an uploaded but was slow mo after uploaded

I have the note 2 also. I know of at least 1 S3 user having the same problem. Maybe its only a problem on galaxy devices. Anybody out there got a s3 or note 2 and not having this issue?

Instagram got an update that inlcudes the ability to record and post 15 second video clips. Check it out at the play store if you haven't already installed.

Me too, video playback is normal but audio sounds like frickin Darth Vader in slow mo!
