Hey guys,
Quick question :
Is there any app out there being able to handle the Tegra 3 processor?
So we can underclock the cpu and change govenors?!
Thanks in advance

So, i switched over from SetCPU to FauxClock
but now i'm missing the Widget to see the current CPU speed
I could use some recommendation for alternative Apps that can show the CPU speed without a CPU governor
I was using temp+ cpu v2

Not much difference except in setcpu you can set profiles so in different states the cpu can be changed. Eg. Whilst charging you have set min cpu clock and max cpu clock, however whilst screen off the max is 768 mhz

They do the same.
But in No Frills you can change the I/O scheduler.
I got both installed, but use SetCPU only, I prefer the sliders and it has a nice widget.

What are good apps for overclocking the GN?
No-frills CPU.

Hi,
Free or paid apps?
Set CPU,CPU Master,CPU Tuner,System Tuner,etc...
It also depends on what kernel you're running, for example Francisco Franco,Morfic and Glados kernel have their own apps for overclock and many other settings.
But some kernel settings may not be compatible with the other apps...
In any case if it's just for overclock it's good.
Personally I would recommend System Tuner or Set CPU.
My favourite is SetCPU, due to the ability to create profiles.

Why do no kernels support gpu/cpu overclock for this phone? I have tried lots of different kernels but why do they only go up to 1.5ghz cpu and can't change gpu?
