[Q] Root Samsung gio 3.3.6 - Samsung Galaxy Gio GT-S5660

Is possible to make root root in the transom samsung vodafone Portugal s5660xxkt2 version 2.3.6?

Yes, just follow one of the rooting tutorials for gio and you will be fine

The 2.3.6 Vodafone can be rooted with 2.3.4 root file, check this: Root Vodafone Gio (see the spoiller and use file for 2.3.4 version)

Updating Samsung Galaxy SL I9003 from Froyo to Gingerbread

I own a Samsung Galaxy SLI9003 (Froyo 2.2.1), which I purchased in the United Arab Emirates. Here are the details regarding the firmware running on it:
PDA I9003jvkd1
Phone I9003jxka4
CSC I9003ojvkc1
Ok, after going through another set of threads. I found out that the official UAE version of Gingerbread is I9003JPKPE(2.3.6).
Would I be able to flash it onto my phone directly from Froyo 2.2.1? I'm trying not to brick my phone, being a newbie and all.
Or would I have to FIRST flash I9003XXKPE first, and THEN flash I9003JPKPE onto my phone? If so, how would I go about flashing I9003JPKPE firmware after I have successfully flashed I9003XXKPE onto my device?

Please help

If you want to unroot just go to SuperUser's settings and disable root.

the "temp unroot" option?
nah. i think hes goin to have it checked and he wants it unrooted . warranty stuff.. (?)
Options are different for each rom but in Dr. Ketan's guide (for prerooted rom):
open SuperSu from application drawer - setting - unroot
Click to collapse
If you want to unroot for warranty you have to check your flash counter (must be zero): http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=31801078&postcount=3
Then just flash an official firmware. You can use sammobile to sort by country.
