How to convert armv7 games to armv6? - Samsung Galaxy Gio GT-S5660

Hi!
I found some guides: said of a change in the voice build.prop "ro.product.cpu=armeabi-v6l" in "armeabi-v7l" or "armeabi-v7a"
How can I fix? Should I put armeabi-v7l or v7a?
Do you have another guide to convert games in ARMv7 armv6?
thanks
P. S. Sorry for my bad English!

What this does is fool Google Play in thinking you have an ARMv7 SoC instead of ARMv6.
Whether a given APK will work or not after doing this is far from guaranteed.
The requirement for ARMv7 can be simply performance related, in which case the app might work, albeit slowly. But if there's natively compiled code using v7 instructions, expect the app to crash at some point.

[Q] starfront collision

Hi everyone! I was thinking about how you could run starfront collision on our Gio. I know that Starfront needs ARMv7 but i found myself a ARMv6 apk but i ...ed it up. Like DARK which also is converted from ARMv7 to 6 and i tested it myself and it works. Or maybe somehow with chainfire like shadowgun? Seen in other sites that people in polls say that it works but im wondering if theyre lieing.
So maybe it is possible to play it after all? Please enlighten me if someone got it working. Thanks in advance.

Teamspeak ARMv6

Hi everyone,
I'd to know if a ARMv6 compatible version is out for TS because the official app only support ARMv7 CPU.
Thx to ur help
You mean teamspeak 3?, I dont know for ARMv6 version.
For those who do not Know: play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.teamspeak.ts&hl=en
Yes i just look up for an ARMv6 compatible version if it exists
Envoyé depuis mon GT-S5830
there isn't one that i know of and so far teamspeak isn't going to make one for "Voice Quality concerns". so basically someone is going to have to rip apart the apk file and recompile it for an armv6 device without a math co-processor

[Help] Need help with FPse with OpenGL on SIII

Hi ppl, I'm new to that forum and I have a problem with FPse and OpenGL in Galaxy S III.
Today I Buyed that PSX emulator and when the FPSE was in Software GPU mode it crashes every time I try to modify the Video options (Like Enable advanced 3d Rendering) so I put FPse in OpenGL mode without PSX Bios(HLE), I actived the Dynamic Interpreter and when I play on any game It run but I have Low FPS rate,
eg: In FF7 I have 30-40 Fps and on Tekken 3 40-60, but i dont find a way to have a stable FPS.
I have the version 11.28 i tried 11.26 but I have the same problem.
I tried the psx4driod 3.0.7 and I have sound Lag and the quality of game is not the same.
I tried the Mali400 trick with tekken 3 and anything changed
I have the S3 with the Samsung Stock Rom.
Thank you for your help and sorry for my english.
I updated the FPse to 11.29 version, this update improves the frame rate, but it not perfect anywant can say me the perfect setting for galaxy SIII with OpenGL and FF8 or 7?

US sgs 3 doesnt have mali 400 it has adreno 225
*edit im sorry guys i didnt realize i was in the international gs 3 forums i have no idea how i got here i was just browsing the sprint forums and now im here would a mod please remove this thank you
I've created a OpenGL thread on the FPSE website - please search for "Understanding FPSE and PEOpS OpenGL" (I'm still new so I can't post links yet). Please check it out (on the FPSE website).
The Galaxy S III (I9300) uses a Mali-400. The other 3 S III's use the Adreno 225. Check the gsmarena website (again, I can't post links).
There are two possible issues here:
The Mali-400 has the known issue that you already talked about. It sounds like you've done what you can to check this. I didn't know that it had issues in software rendering mode with the enhanced 3d rendering, that sounds odd, but I haven't followed all the mali400 issues on FPSE. You have a powerful device, so I'm not sure why you would have issues. I would recommend posting on the fpse forums, specifically in the android feedback thread.
The other possible problem is the Adreno 225. There are known issues with the Adreno 220 - maybe there are issues with the 225 as well? I don't know. The Adreno 220 recommended fix is updating to ICS (which I think you have) and updating your drivers. Search the FPSE forum for "opengl and andreno 220/225 gpu" for more info.

Why does ouya require a custom xbmc build?

I read that a stable xbmc build for ouya was released. I'm curious as to what is need for a custom build? Is it to use the joystick? I don't think that's the case as I read something regarding hardware accel playback. But if that's the case why does the generic build of xbmc just work with other tablets/phones?
It is probably because the regular version isn't 100% compatible with the OUYA

I am here to help and provide knowledge to help others with there problems/issues. If you do have a question don't be afraid to shoot me a PM and I will help you and put you in the right direction to the best of my ability and will get your problem and/or issue solved.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Actually XBMC isn't universal, because different manufacturers have different ideas on how to deal with drivers at the abstraction level. Search around a bit, the Ouya isn't the only device requiring a custom build.
duh really?? No kidding??
I assume obviously there is an incompatibility but at least the other post was a little more insightful regarding the abstraction layer.
But xbmc in the end will use two things: opengl, and hardware accelerated video playback. So why would that need a custom build? If the android OS is designed properly this should all be done through an abstraction layer and not have to be coded to be hardware specific.
I guess somewhat related, when I first got my nexus 7 and heard about tegra optimized games. They are boasting that but I didn't actually like to hear that. I read that some other tablets that may actually have a better video chipset, could perform worse with these tegra optimized games. Even though nvidia and ati try and make similar claims, if the game is d3d compliant it will run fine on either. That's how it should be with android, so I shouldn't need an ouya optimized build. But this is my layman's understanding so maybe there's something else I'm not seeing.
The Ouya's lucky tho, my Galaxy S2 still doesn't have a build with hardware acceleration that isn't a beta, so anything but basic XVID AVIs play like molasses. =.=' (Samsung's own video player works better...)
Android's compatibility throughout all devices isn't guaranteed at any level below the abstraction layer. Games don't really have this problem because everything graphic intensive must be done in OpenGLES, which is at least backwards compatible - and unlike Windows you don't have DirectX vying for compatibility with it.*
Video processing is a different beast altogether, because unfortunately OpenGLES isn't a compression/decompression/streaming library. Google by the way doesn't actually promise HD video decompression from the very beginning, just the standard cellphone codecs. Not even VP8, the codec they back. Non HD MP4 is the only decent codec that's guaranteed.
Apple doesn't have this compatibility problem because it is its own manufacturer and nobody else manufactures devices that runs iOS. Android and Windows, not so. <_<'
* And even then remember that some graphics cards support only up to a certain version of DirectX OR OpenGL. Anything greater and the game either won't run, or WILL but won't let you see anything. The only reason why you don't see this in the DX9-10-11 transition was that game engines implemented fallback mechanisms. I still remember the transition between DX8.1 and DX9. <_<'
[Q] Games on Zenfone 2 (compatibility)
I created this thread so that people can post which games don't work on ZenFone 2, some games don't work because of x86 architecture. Does anyone know of any games that don't work?
To be honest, all of the games and apps I have tried have worked without a problem. Even the 3D games like Modern Combat, Nova, Driver, etc.
Yes most of the games do work, I have nova and driver and they play flawlessly. I want to try Ravensword Shadowland but don't know if to buy it because it said the last time it was updated was in 2013. So not sure if it will work.
Pirates (Assassin's Creed) works fine until you go to hunt a whale. Then it freezes... No other problems...
Don't play many games, but I do know hearthstone and xcom work perfectly.
i have chaos ring omega and it doesnt work, hack/cheat tools such as SB Gamehacker and other tools as such doesnt work too, but that could be due to Lollipop.
btw i have chaos ring 3 and it works perfectly
I don't know but, when I run apk with no x86 libs, they run with no problem, because x86 can run the armeabi and armv7 libs. If your game you play isn't running, I think that is compability os problem.
How do i run the apk without x86 libs?
Do you also have serious stutters in the game Terminator GENISYS revolution ?
Other games like NFS Most Wanted, Hitman Sniper, Relix RUN, NOVA 3 are working better since the last updates.
I am speaking about 550ML version.
I think he means that apps that aren't directly compiled against x86 will still work because Intel has collaborated closely with Google on getting x86 to run everything via Houdini ARM emulator. I don't think he meant you can strip apps of x86 libs to get them to run, which was your understanding, correct?
