Bootanimation's for the One X - HTC One X

Here are some bootanimation's for the One X:
They are all uploaded on my minus Account and are only the bootanimation.zip's.
How to flash the bootanimation.zip
ADB
Install the Android SDK!
Make sure that the bootanimation.zip is in the same folder as the adb.exe and this stuff (should be platform-tools)
ADB - Permanent:
adb push /data/local
Click to collapse
ADB - Semi-Permanent:
adb push /system/media
Click to collapse
For example:
Code:
adb push c:\sdk\platform-tools\bootanimation.zip /data/local
or
Code:
adb push c:\sdk\platform-tools\bootanimation.zip /system/media
Root Explorer
Just copy the bootanimation in /system/media or /data/local.

* Make sure that you backup your old files first.
Download "XDA TV - One X.zip" from the attachments, or through one of the links below, and extract it on your hard drive. You'll get the boot animation (bootanimation.zip) and the boot sound (android_audio.mp3). The easiest way is to use root explorer and copy and replace both files to /system/media or /data/local (It depends on your current rom)

I can't download the file brother .. But i had the black screen problem and it was due to the compression of the ZIP file. When adding to archive you have to select "Store" under Compression method, and "Add and update files" under Update mode.

not really, it is an opportunity to modify the system - to get root, do deodeks, add or delete files, and so on before flashing the phone..
Thanks! Good work! Everything works as it should.

Try to move tool into home folder from the desktop..
And check all files of tool, for executable..
All binarys was compiled on ubuntu 12.10 quantal x86,
I do not know exactly, perhaps on x64 it don't work..
Go to folder tool and check run binarys
$ ./unruu
$ ./ruuveal
If you has some problem with run tools/binarys, you can download sourse from github and try to compile binarys on your pc..
thx, finaly i maneged.
great tool
EDIT: I did not see that you list the One XL as the One X Evita. Sorry. Disregard post. :-/
I'm very interested in how you managed to decrypt it.
Would like to hear any hints or even source code of the decryption/encryption process so I could port it to Mac OS.
Thanks you for this, this is simply amazing.

1. Has anyone tried this on CM10.1?
2. Also instructions say chown 0.0 and chmod 644. Can someone elaborate what this means? I'm guessing permissions.

It should work on cm10.1, all you have to do is replace the bootanimation zip file in system/media with the one provided here and set the permissions to 644. Here is an example.
