Touchwiz 4.0 for the Galaxy S

Hi Guys,
Is it possible to port the touchwizlauncher.apk from the SGS2 to our SGS?
That would be very nice.

Do you have SGS2 so it can be ported? Do anyone have yet SGS2? Nope, it can't be ported yet...

It's a pre-order, though it has a estimated release date. May 13th can't wait.

how do you get it while it still running on test to their prototype?can you give some pictures if it's true...
however, how does the arc launcher managed to be ported while it still hasn't released yet?perhaps any leaks?

From what i've seen on you tube (at the mobile convention) the touch wiz was not present on the exposed models, but it was a normal(sgs1 like) touch wiz . I hope i'm not mistaken . We'll have to wait to see an official sample and after that to hope that the SGS2 touch wiz is not dependent on the cpu ( single cpu could mean slower menu response).

ICS kernel source is available? It does help! The only thing devs have to fix now is GSM to CDMA.

IK,R? And.... watch the "OMG!!!11! I brckd ma phone with a version uv ICS, I din no it wuz not for ma sprint phone! wtf?" threads start taking over the Q&A section this week, with all the "ICS for Galaxy S II now!" news.

The international version has very little in common with our phone beyond branding. What is good is that there have been numerous leaks for our phone that shows Samsung is close to a release candidate. After a release candidate is reached, expect about a month for it to go through all the testing and approval channels before the official ota is released, but I am sure there are quite a few "leaky" pipes in the testing and approval channel and xda will have it before then.

MIUI v4 is not much Stable .!

People, why did you open another thread about homescreen? It's allready available. Soon someone else will open another thread with SAMMY screen, AOKP screen...etc..strange...

check the play store. he has some...as well as some other guys (eg mods and mcluvn mods) they are all amazing

[REQUEST] J Butterfly Homescreen Widgets.

I love the HTC J Butterfly Homescreen widgets, and sadly arent on the DNA. Is there a way to port them to the Galaxy Nexus? Mostly the Clock and quickstart apps. They are also on the HTC Rhyme, if the J butterfly isnt compatible.

It relies on HTC sense framework and libs, so to have work, you pretty much need to port the whole ROM.

Well that stinks. All sense ports have been dropped from some reason..I should have bought an HTC..the software buttons add so much annoyance too, extra time to put those in.

Well sell your nexus go buy an HTC phone. see Ya.
