Here's a little report :
The earthquake hit the Sumatera Island, western region of Indonesia. Around 15.38 of local time (GMT +7). The epicenter is near an area called Simeulue, Aceh, with a depth of 10 km Below sea level.
Magnitude reported is 8,5 Richter, so far no serious damage reported, no Tsunami wave reported, though most people are still outside and alerted. The tsunami early warning system is still in effect.
I'm still watching the news, from what I saw, the people didn't look too panicked, just alerted, many of them attempt to move to higher ground, in case a tsunami occurs.
That's for now, and Thank you very much for the prayer
Oh and I heard Singapore also felt the earthquake, how about Malaysia? You're all safe right?

Update : Several Aftershocks happened and still going, though in a reduced magnitude. Latest aftershock was 6,5 Richter. The news from BBC says that the Earthquake is a Horizontal type, thus it is "less likely" to cause tsunami.
Update 2 (18.05) : Aftershocks : 16.28 (6.5 Richter) | 16.48 (6.1 Richter) | 17.09 (6.1 Richter) | 17.21 (5.7 Richter) | 17.43 (8.1 Richter), all time in GMT+7

-Sabang (17.00 GMT+7), 0.06 metres
-Meulaboh (17.04 GMT+7), 0.8 metres
The Aftershocks also had a shift of epicenter, a little to the south of the original epicenter

I thought it was 8.9 Richter?? well im from malaysia and i didnt really feel it but around the south there was a bit after shock and we're still on alert

You wrote these, they are great, I love "chain reaction" very addictive and "pipes" took me nearly an hour to solve the insane level. Any plans to develop them any further, I would love to see more levels in chain reaction. My 7 year old son has got all the high scores 122 I just can't beat him. Thanks a lot for these, at the moment chain reaction is getting more play than the new Wii!
So if anyone beats 122 will you please let me know here.
Having my exams lately, so dev is a little bit on pause ^^
Chain Reaction could need some improvements, but I have to admit I don't have too many ideas to make it evolve :s If you have any, I'll be glad to see what I can do
Hi Mollusk, good luck with the exams. How about a choice of normal best of 3 or a continuous mode where you have to keep your score above a certain % to stay on, chain reaction, not exams I mean. Also you could think about oscillations in the particles (how I imagine photons) or the odd random sideways particle and on top of that my kids say can you make it 3D and work on a nintendo DS?

For the 3D, that's not my thing, and as for the Nintendo DS version... Actually it was included in my Mental Games compilations for NDS ^^ There's a version shown here : http://mollusk.dev-fr.org/ (you see Chain Reaction in the screenshots), though it's not the latest version (I could recompile and send it to you if you want to try).

Thanks a lot for that Mollusk, have just installed mental games on my little girls ds, it is working perfectly and I have already notched up 44 on the high scores, now just my two boys to do. Have you considered making a compendium for android? just a thaught.

I have propositions for CR 2.0
- Balls could have different size and different type of explosion.
- You could make balls go faster.
- For different lvls different type of source. For example, they could come in like a fountain, or from all sides, or in circle ....

I expect most media to do it pretty much like pocketnow did--have videos in the review, but have a written review that ties them all together.
Even though some organizations call some of their videos "reviews", they're not much more useful than your average hands-on preview videos. So I definitely support including test reviews.

That's rockstars fault for the problems. I'd be upset if I paid $5 for something that didn't work myself.
you can understand that you were going to have issues if you brought it this when it came out, look at gta 3 it got 3.5 stars 6,949 1 star rating, it ran great on the S2, i bet many are playing on low powered androids too.
