I've flashed both Perfection's ROM and Ravers ROM and I have no success with mms what so ever. Does abyone have any advice on this I love the smoothness of ICS it's going to be real hard to go back to GB, but if I can't get mms I'm going to have to, I like the ROMs to have everything in the texting area, great work by these guys without the kernel source, truly Kings among men

Im running prefection and it stays stuck on sebding and i cant receive :/ it says download but it doesnt download
Sent from my SGH-T989 using xda premium
Not sure what the problem is. It worked for me with Wi-Fi on and with Wi-Fi off. I tested both sending and receiving after seeing your post.

I'm on perfection and both sending and recording it's fine. Try checking your data settings on your phone your self System Settings - Wireless and Networks - Mobile Networks - Use Packet Data and cycle that on and off and try sending yourself a test mms message

Works for me on VanillaRocket, But I have a tad of the dreaded "Blurry MMS" issue. the files are being compressed to 20KB.
Thanks for the heads up, some times my comcast lags :/ so it wasn't sending the MMS, but when I turned on the data, problem gone, sometimes its the simplest thing that solves the problem, now if anyone can tell me if they can send MMS from BlackEdition I'll probably move to Black Edition. Perfection is a great ROM, but my battery is not holding well to this Rom at all, even after the script changes of super charger

Are there any cyanogen nightly builds that will support mms for my incredible? I have tried a few but still can't send a picture.

I had problems with CM6.1.0, but I fixed it by calling *228, option 1 after the update. Now I call and get option 1 and call back for option 2 after every flash. Seems to have worked for me. I am now running CM7 Nightlies with no issues sending or receiving SMS or MMS.

Thanks. I tried that but same results. I send a picture then the screen goes blank. When I back out of that and go to the list of messages, the one that I tried to send the picture will now say in red "draft". I don't get it. My incredible will send pictures when using the stock rom so I know it has the capabilities.

Anyone notice that MMS messages seem to get sent through wifi when on gingerbread leaks? But using the same modem on EC05 it gets sent through 3g why is that?
Maybe I'm wrong and gingerbread just sends them faster than froyo.
Any ideas on this?

It worked on froyo too

It never works for me whenever I try the 3g data turns on and it sends using that

Yeah, i've never been able to get mms via wifi. My phone spends 8hrs a day (at work i have no signal, just wifi) on wifi and I never get MMS till i leave work and have signal again. On GB or Froyo doesn't matter, never get MMS via wifi.. which sux.

Really? Weird maybe its just the icon that doesn't show up for me , but it sends things almost instantly, as though it was through wifi

Having this problem myself. Both stock app and handcent. Just sits in sending mode forever. Tried toggling between wifi and 3g also, but it shouldn't matter. Still nothing.
Has anyone been able to successfully send mms from the gnex?
I got a replacement Nexis for other reasons... but I don't seem to have the problem on my new one
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using XDA App
I have the same problem
First time I tried to send MMS it didn't work, the last couple of times it's worked though.
I had this issue on mine also. I use go sms now, and it works great. I like it a lot better than handcent too.

And now I am having the issue again xp
i had this issue. fixed by turning off wifi after sending mms, and then it will go through. i only knew that after having this issue with custom roms on the fascinate and incredible 2

I cannot get my mms to send or receive mms over WiFi calling Rom is dark side 4.0.3 texting and calling works just not mms
Sent from my SGH-T989 using xda app-developers app
did you have it working before?
try sending yourself a picture email. somehow that made my mms over wifi worked and i saw someone post about that earlier.
No it's actually never worked for me because I was on juggernaut 5.0 but dark side says it supports mms over WiFi calling

That was my post. It's a fix from Samsung.
OP: while connected to WiFi, open Gmail using the acct linked to your phone. Send a picture to the Gmail acct to yourself, to the same acct. It should come right away. Next try and send an mms to yourself. If that fails, turn data off and resend, then turn data back on and test again.
Sent from my SGH-T989 using xda app-developers app
thanks I'll give it a shot, cause I deal with a lot of mms and sms and I have to get off WiFi calling every time just to get a damn picture lol
Sent from the darkside on my SGH T989
if that doesn't work you will need to do a factory reset. That is what I had to do to get it working.
If it really comes to that I'll just keep doing that I'm doing, on a side note since I've already started this topic and this may be a noob question, I'm new to darkside ics but when I go to my application folder or what ever it is it doesn't have the widgets in with it, other than that this is a phenomenal rom, it's quick, it has improved my battery life considerably, it's much better than juggernaut 5

What launcher is it? I don't know what launcher(s) come with darkside. Depending on launcher there should be an option in launcher settings.
Sent from my SGH-T989 using xda app-developers app
It's just touchwiz launcher
Sent from the darkside on my SGH T989
Ok If there was a setting for it it should be somewhere in system settings. Sorry I can't be more help I'm running aokp. Or install a different launcher. You'd have to push into system to utilize widgets in app drawer.
Sent from my SGH-T989 using xda app-developers app
How is aokp I thought about running that over darkside but I went with darkside for now

I love it. Eugene373 and whitehawkx have gotten a couple major bugs ironed out here recently. Been super stable on it. I love the seemingly endless customization options.

This is Eugene373's rom that includes his kernel and sleep script. Only major bug I know of is screen becomes unresponsive, just swipe palm across screen. I'm running this one.

Or whitehawkx's includes screen fix w/o Eugene373's kernel or script. He is about to release a new build too.

Your radio will work with either. Eugenes kernel in dev thread and script in apps thread.

I've been having MMS problems for a while now. When I try to send pictures, most of the time it just stays stuck on sending, but the picture never sends. Every now and then the person that I'm sending the picture to will get the picture the next day or something like that, but never immediately and that's if it sends at all. I've tried multiple ROM's and radios all to the same outcome. Right now I'm on AOKP Build 5 running the stock kernel and uvlh1 radio. Everything else works perfectly. I unrooted and tried to send pictures then and it worked fine. So I rooted again and sent one with stock rooted and again, all was well. But when I install a custom ROM all hell breaks loose. I also tried different apps like Go SMS and Handcent to no avail. I've also checked my apn settings and they were fine. Someone help please!
is this over the network or Wi-Fi? Or both?

When you say a custom Rom, do you mean aokp? Touch wiz? Anything? I would start with a basic rooted stock based Rom with a stick kernel with minimal tweaks and go from there.
