Hi XDA.
Me and my friend are currently making an app for some kind of school project. The goal is to make some kind of lockscreen. We have done everything for preperations, we even maked a base app.
Now the app is almost finished, the hardest part comes: The lockscreen part. Is there anybody who is able to help us? If yes, I will send a PM with the BetaBetaBeta version of the app.
Thanks.
PS: If this is in the wrong section, sorry. Maybe a mod can move it to the right section.
Sorry for the weird title, I accidently pushed save.

Bump.
No one that wants to help? I would be thankfull.
What do you require for this? Android programming skills?
If it's some photo editing or some stuff I can do that, not programming.
Just tell me, I have some free time for a few days.

I don't have any coding knowledge, but I wouldn't mind giving my opinion on design and user-friendliness.

Insane! I had looked for something like this a long time back. Nice find!
@OP, I may be able to help with the coding if you need some.
But could you describe what's been done and where you want to go with it?

Lol it may suck but I'm trying it. I just install as a normal app or do I push it into system/app?
Edit: Okay, it sucks. Really. No offense though, this is really good for a first time first version. Good job!

Now I understand it better. Now, we need to get it to replace the original lockscreen.
You don't want it to be this way :
Thief : Hey nice phone! *about to steal it*
You : wait let me start my lockscreen app! Okay here you go.

Oh..premium app
There is app called juicedefender. It actually works by disabling auto synchronization and enabling it at some time intervals. This can give you much better battery on idle (when phone is not used and turned off)

Easy... He just wanted to warn you that this is beta.
I second JuiceDefender.
Even the free version is helpful at extending battery time with the stock settings.
Ive been using Easy Battery Saver, not sure if it works or not.
I'm back on mildwild cm 8 again lol but I don't like the circle battery icon it just doesn't look good, is there anyway of changing it I like the circle ones in jb??
Sent from my HTC Desire using xda premium
Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. I guess it's a CM thing, but the percentage is completely unreadable from a convenient distance. I guess the circle is just too small too. For now I'm just sticking to percentage/bar combination.
