That rom doesn't work on our device. Do a full restore in CWM.

Did you wipe data by doing the factory reset before installing it? Wipe cache, dalvik?
Your options are, try again, restore from NAND (you do have backups, right?), use Gnex Toolkit to flash to stock from the fastboot menu.
I am using a Galaxy Nexus GSM phone.I was earlier using the pararoid android ROM.However, the latest 3.0 update came and i downloaded it and flashed it.Since, then the phone is just stuck on the boot animation and does not proceed further.
I removed the ROM and started using STOCK ROM.
Formatted my memory card,
However now when i try installing ANY ROM,it is still stuck on the boot animation and does not proceed further.
What is the solution? PLEASE HELP!!!
wipe data before you flash a rom.

I have the Sprint S3 with 4.1.2. Last night I rooted it and it worked fine. I then flashed CWM Recovery and rebooted, all was fine. Tried to put on Liquid Smooth rom and didn't have gapps, attempted to flash gapps but came up with error. Got fed up with it and tried to flash the Synergy Rom. I cleared dalvik and cache, made a backup and flashed. Went through the whole process and auto rebooted afterwards. Went to SAMSUNG on boot and screen went black before finishing and will not go further. I can get into stock recovery but not CWM Recovery. I'd like to have the liquidsmooth rom on there but i also downloaded the stock 4.1.2 rom just in case. How can I get past this to get into either CWM recovery or somehow flash a rom from Odin? I'm stuck.

So you were able to get into the custom recovery (CWM) a couple of times before flashing Synergy Rom, but now it's reverted to stock recovery? When you turn your phone off and hold Volume up, menu, and power it boots into the stock recovery? I've never heard of that happening before.
The best way is to re-do your root process through Odin a-la qbking77's tutorial. This will install CWM again and then you can flash away. Make sure you check your md5sums on the Rom files you downloaded before flashing them. That's the most common cause of bad flashes around these parts.

I've ended up fixing it but had to flash stock 4.1.1 on it from Odin and then it automatically went to 4.1.2 after reboot. Thanks
But yes, it was going to CWM just fine before I flashed Synergy after Liquidsmooth. Thats how I put on Synergy. But at least it was just a soft-brick.
Did you wipe (everything) between flashes? Even roms of the same version can have issues if you flash one over the other
By everything I mean /system, /data (factory reset), dalvik cache, and cache
I was on 4.2.2 XenonHD with LeanKernel. I directly flashed Cataclysm ROM with cache, dalvik cache wipe and factory reset on GooManager. It booted flawlessly the first time. Then after completing the startup I rebooted. But then I became stuck on the google logo (surprise surprise...)
I don't get it. Why did it boot perfectly the first time but not after a reboot?
Anyway, I tried to restore my nandroid backup of the 4.2.2 XenonHD ROM. But then I got stuk at the google logo again. Why?
I haven't backed up my mediafiles (music, photo's etc) yet, in case a factory image installation is needed. I assumed I didn't need to backup those mediafiles, becuase I already have a nandroid backup, meaning I can always go back to the last ROM.
Does anybody have a solution for this? I don't care if I end up booting in 4.2.2 or 4.3, as long as I can preserve my media files.
Or do I have no other options than installing factory boot image of 4.3, meaning my files will be gone?
Thanks in advance.
No as long as you don't flash userdata.img nothing will be wiped (I think maybe to be sure you have to check twice). You can use adb pull to pull the mediafiles if you want.
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using XDA Premium HD app
Try factory reset and then try to restore from the backup..

hi guys..
I flashed 4.2-THL-CWM-Touch-6.0.3.6-Baffin-Odin using ODin.
Rooted using UPDATE-SuperSU-v1.51
Later cleared cache and dalvik cache...
After this i flashed AdiFlyMIUI.zip from my sdcard also It got installed in 5-10sec is this correct ??
Again cleared cache and dalvik cache.
But after this when i restarted my phone..it just got stuck at "Samsung galaxy grand i9082" screen and rebooted again coming back o same boot screen..
can some one help me with it??
have you created a backup??
which was your previous rom 4.1 or 4.2
you stuck on a soft brick.. but it can be resolve.
restore your backup you have via recovery mode..
if you don't have a backup than you need to download stock firmware & need to be flash via odin..
you should be on 4.1 to flash miui based rom.
