I'm assuming that those clips are adjustable but I cant say for sure. It is a pretty neat controller though...

since the note is 83mm wide, im guessing no, it does not fit it.
it was not hard at all to find their official site and specs.. http://gametel.se/index.php/explore/specification

I have one, and I even did a review of it over on swartz.de You certainly can't fit the Note in it, although I'm pretty certain you could hack the holding bracket to get it to fit, via 3-d printing a longer part. The other problem would be Samsungs button placement. If inserted, you'll be constantly activating the volume button rocker unless you angle it exactly right. Of course, if you're already designing a new holding bracket for 3D printing, you could probably get around that problem as well. That said, it's still a very nice bluetooth game controller.

Expensive... I was going to mod a ps3 controller to fit note, much cheaper and comfortable in my opinion

Nope, it's like the one I liked. You could fold where the base connects to the middle. It's made of metal also, but thanks though.
The phone can either sit horizontal or vertical. The reason why I'm looking for one is because once I get a case. I prefer not to take off the case when I have to plug in.

It's a little expensive but I can use it to hold my SGS2 or TF when not using the docking station.

Looks too big to hold the SGSII in portrait orientation.
I just got this one, which is a battery charger that doubles as a stand. Cheap and it is an original Samsung accessory too!

The one that I got does not charge the phone because I wanted to be able to use it in the landscape orientation as well. There is a version that charges but you can only stand the phone in portrait orientation for obvious reasons. Pic below from Clove.
Well if you just want a basic stand, there is an Otterbox stand but Im not sure if they sell it retail. I got one at Showstoppers during MWC. Will try and find a link

Will post pics with it loaded up. But here is what it holds:
-Visiontek BT Keyboard
-SPen with Pen Holder
-FiiO E11
-Mili Power Shine
-USB to MicroSD Adapter
-USB OTG Cable
-MHL Cable
-Charging base/cable
-HDMI cable
-BT Stereo
-BT Headset
-Headphones/Y Splitter Cable
-JIG
-Microfiber cloth in front pocket
This looks really good. Thanks for sharing. I use the Cocoon grid it organiser for my stuff but this is a bag upon itself.
No problem. Just to add I bought a 6 pack of microfiber sunglass sleeves. To keep the keyboard, headphone amp, and battery backup scratch free and to keep cables together. Will post pics tonite
LOL! You guys carry that around? Might as well have gotten a full size tablet then. Portability zero.

Coming from the child carrying a 5.3inch phone...
You're an effing idiot...you know that?
1. Its not that big at all.
2. Do you just throw all your junk into a bag while traveling and hope it doesn't break?
3. You're still an idiot
This is what the wife's purse is for.
I really can't find any reason to carry this for. To each there own I guess

Lol, you tool, I think it's a great little bag. Currently I just have an old bag I shove everything into and hope for the best. Personally, I think it could be really helpful to have stored in your backpack or pack for traveling, like they said. Not necessarily to just carry around every day all by itself.

Portable desktop stands for the Galaxy Note

Thought I'd start a thread where we can discuss portable stands that you can carry with you all the time. This is the one I use and it works just fine with the Note in landscape mode. Link here.

Send me a PM if you are in USA. I'm willing to sell.

Cool. I just tried with the paper clips I have at my desk, but they are way too small.
What is a "butterfly paperclip" ? Can you post a photo of one in its original form?
I'm thinking of either this one:
http://www.amazon.ca/F-S-Smartphone...WG/ref=sr_1_18?ie=UTF8&qid=1336965075&sr=8-18
or the one with a longer arm:
http://www.amazon.ca/F-L-Smartphone...980S/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&qid=1336965152&sr=8-5
I have the icarpus which is pretty nice. Works great with the note.
And yea, that ebay stand was a complete dissapointment.

Totally agree. I have this one. Looks solid but not usable at all.
I use this as portable stand
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=200667466483&ssPageName=ADME:L:OU:US:1123
And this as "usual" stand.

They hold Note very well.
Don't see reasons to spend much. The cheaper stands are quite satisfactory.
I love it...
This is what I use, simple, lighter and with thousands of different ways to use

Homemade game clip

This is my homemade game clip.... Cost 15 dollars and an old ps3 controller.. (technically it cost me nothing cause I had the car mount already as well. )
Pics on second page
Will need :
Ps3 controller
Scosche car mount
Tin snips
Hot glue gun
About 10 min
Instructions:
1. buy 5 scosche flexible neck car mount.... Cause they are the best. The not the ratcheting adjustable ones. The but the one that I have in my pictures
2. Rip of the suction cup and trim the base to fit well with the back of the ps3 controller
3. Hot glue the car mount to the back of the ps3 controller
Tada!

For now I put links instead of attached pictures

The reason I used the flexible next car mount instead of the game clips that you can buy for 15 dollars because I like the screen brought forward so I can see better instead of having to bring a controller forward

if yes, how is it, thanks
I have one for 25 off an amazon seller. Works great. The keyboard is magnetic so you can remove it and use it detached which is cool.
Three negative that are not bad. First it does make it thick. about like a day planner, not bad. Two the keyboard is small as you would expect but it has nice travel and is quite usable. The third thing is that in landscape the edge of the screen can slip below the leather lip. If you use a hidden pie menu you might need to increase its target size to handle that.
But those are all minor. I like it. A HDMI adapter and this works well in a hotel for working.
