Just got this to carry around all my accessories. Its more than I could have asked for.
Skooba Cable Stable Mini (750-250)
http://www.amazon.com/dp/B0058S883K/ref=cm_sw_r_an_am_ap_am_us?ie=UTF8
Will post pics with it loaded up. But here is what it holds:
-Visiontek BT Keyboard
-SPen with Pen Holder
-FiiO E11
-Mili Power Shine
-USB to MicroSD Adapter
-USB OTG Cable
-MHL Cable
-Charging base/cable
-HDMI cable
-BT Stereo
-BT Headset
-Headphones/Y Splitter Cable
-JIG
-Microfiber cloth in front pocket

This looks really good. Thanks for sharing. I use the Cocoon grid it organiser for my stuff but this is a bag upon itself.

No problem. Just to add I bought a 6 pack of microfiber sunglass sleeves. To keep the keyboard, headphone amp, and battery backup scratch free and to keep cables together. Will post pics tonite

LOL! You guys carry that around? Might as well have gotten a full size tablet then. Portability zero.

Coming from the child carrying a 5.3inch phone...
You're an effing idiot...you know that?
1. Its not that big at all.
2. Do you just throw all your junk into a bag while traveling and hope it doesn't break?
3. You're still an idiot

This is what the wife's purse is for.
I really can't find any reason to carry this for. To each there own I guess

Lol, you tool, I think it's a great little bag. Currently I just have an old bag I shove everything into and hope for the best. Personally, I think it could be really helpful to have stored in your backpack or pack for traveling, like they said. Not necessarily to just carry around every day all by itself.

I'm a bachelor. And I don't carry it. It goes in any bag I travel with.

Exogear car mount

Have been using this mount for a little over a week and can say that it is awesome. The thing I like the most is the mount. It is sticky and mounts to almost any surface, even the rounded portion of my dash. It does get dirty and needs to have some water run over it every once in a while to clean it off. The part that holds the phone is hard to use one handed, but holds the phone really well. It opens up to hold any phone and mostgps units. I picked this up on amazon for just under 20 bucks.

Looks good, but larger pics would help!
I guess this is the mount?

For the price it wouldn't hurt to try it out. I should be getting it tomorrow.

That's the mount.
Sorry about the small pictures, I haven't quite mastered posting pics from my tab.

Does the mount show in any part of the camera\video view?
Just tried it. The mount does not show up on the screen when taking video or pics.

I got the mount on Saturday. I think it works pretty well for what it was worth. It definitely requires two hands to take in and out. It seems to hold pretty solid on the dash.
Sorry the pictures aren't that great. They were taken with my Thunderbolt.
just wanted to add I have this mount and have been using it with no problems. I also have a nook tablet that I put the suction cup on the back of and clip to the headrest to let my daughter watch movies for long trips. Its very versitile.
Just tossed one of these in favor of the Samsung mount. Much easier to work with.
Bad experience!

I bought this car mount 32 days ago & It's already broken!!
I used it in my car for a Galaxy S2 device with a sunlight protector (as was recommended on exogear's site).
For the record, I'v been known for my gentle treatment for all of my things, in particular, the technological one's.
The damage was a broken grip (the one that holds the cell-phone), just near the red rubber.
Be careful guys\ladies - waste of 30$.

[DIY] TV Stand Pogo Dock w/ glowing Nexus sign!

This is one started with an idea I had when I went back into my original box and saw the screen protector we all ripped off when we first greedily tore into our GNex's. I hadn't seen it since I was overcome by gadget fever and bought it at the Amsterdam airport and clumsily unwrapped and swapped sims in the passport line. But this little screen cover has the nexus logo and was just begging to be backlit! A glowing galaxy nexus sign, and what's best, most of you probably still have yours (hopefully!)
The backlight is from a flatbed scanner, the charger is a 12V car adapter, and the stand is a TV wall mount. Pogo contacts are a dissected female end of a USB extension cord. A few other little piece parts from the junk drawer, some solder, e-tape and hot glue, and we have a truly unique pogo charging dock. That doesn't mean don't copy...I want to see more homemade monstrosities. I hope this inspires more awesomeness!

Notes:
This was was a bit of work, some soldering skills req'd.
No, I don't know the brand of the TV stand, I re-appropriated it from a work building being torn down.
The pictures don't do justice to the glow, it's cool. Hard to shoot something so bright.
Thanks to zuberio for the adjustibility concept inspiration.
I'm test driving Jelly Bean right now, so haven't tested Force AC charge, but it should work had used it before with the charger in this project.
Looks nice, but I would put some diodes on the charger so in case you get a short you don't kill your phone lol.
You are so cool! I wish you lived in chicago!!!

Replaced Charging Port

For anyone else who has had trouble with their charging port.... I replaced mine last night with a $8 one from eBay. Easy repair... just need torx screwdriver and a small Phillips one like for glasses... no soldering... just a ribbon cable and it works perfectly now. Just thought I would let anyone interested in doing their own know that its a easy fix.

Thanks, I was just about to order one!
How's your headphone jack? Mine's kinda wonky, commands the phone to call the last call when I unplug my headphones :banghead:

Search for one for the INC. S
It's silver versus black (trim ring).

Mine is worn out, will order one from ebay and get it replace.....thanks for the heads up!! :good: :good: :good: :good: :good:
Thanks for this info
The fact that my charging port may just stop working one day (like it has for others) scared me. And I thought that I may have to return to stock (on possibly a low battery) and send it in for a repair. I'm ording one now so that when the day comes I'm prepared.
Although it is worth mentioning that I have never ever had an issue with my dinc 2 and that its in the same condition that it was a year ago.

I replaced mine a while back as well and the procedure was super easy. My only thing is I have 6 batteries and two chargers so I still rarely use the port unless I'm transferring something.

do "leg-bands" accesories exist for sport people?

looking for where to put my phone while jogging i have found "arm-bands" which i find annoying... the question is, does a similar accessory exist but that can be strapped to your leg or waist in a similar manner to gun cases for example, but for phones?
Sent from my GT-S5830 using Tapatalk 2
Hey! It's an interesting question. I, as far as i'm concerned, do not know about those leg-bands. I don't think they exist. I mean, just think of the forces applied to your phone while jogging; it would eventually break. I hope i helped you somehow.
I have one of those armbands, but rather than have it hooked to my biceps, I actually strap it to my left forearm so I can look at my info when I'm running. (I have it paired to a Zephyr HxM HRM so I can see if my heart rate is too fast or not). it also allows me to switch music tracks easily as well)
Maybe that will help out if you hook it so it's right above the widest part of your forearm.
EDIT: come to think of it: some of these armbands also sell an "extension" band.... i guess if you get 2 or those extensions, you can wrap it around your thigh so it works as a "leg band"?
I guess you are right, but then guns would have a similar problem (jumping out of place or something like that)
But I after looking around a small hip bag might do the job...
I think a hipbag designed for cell phones might be an interesting idea.

when you say hip bag.. you mean fanny pack right? if so, you can get those anywhere.. although they tend to be... conspicuous and very gaudy in many cases..

I used to use a Nike Wrist Coach with my Sensation. It's one of those playcard forearm sleeves that quarterbacks wear that has the plays on them. It work pretty well for jogging; I would have My Tracks and Play Music running and I could glance it my phone to check my pace, distance and change songs. I could even use voice to text to send messages.
Then I lost my Sensation in a cab.
You might want to go to a sporting goods and check it out. The GS3 is much thinner than the Sensation, so it might work.

if yes, how is it, thanks
I have one for 25 off an amazon seller. Works great. The keyboard is magnetic so you can remove it and use it detached which is cool.
Three negative that are not bad. First it does make it thick. about like a day planner, not bad. Two the keyboard is small as you would expect but it has nice travel and is quite usable. The third thing is that in landscape the edge of the screen can slip below the leather lip. If you use a hidden pie menu you might need to increase its target size to handle that.
But those are all minor. I like it. A HDMI adapter and this works well in a hotel for working.
