Hi! Yesterday flashed this Gingerbread ROM: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1045824 . This ROM have Android 2.3.3 and Stock Sense 1.9. Everything seems fine but I would like to have battery with percentage on this ROM if is possible. I search around this forum and find some of battery percentage which looks like this picture:http://www2.mediafire.com/imgbnc.ph...3c162debca4dbf95fad458a557e2d36a41201225g.jpg and flashed this in Recovery but then I have boot loops, propably because of wrong zip file. So, my question is: Is there any flashable zip file with battery percentage for Gingerbread 2.3.3 and Sense 1.9 ROM? Thank you a lot.

Uot kitchen?
There is a rom that fits those prerequisites too.

Yep. UOT kitchen is your best bet. Upload your framework-res, SystemUI and one of the HTC files they want. They'll hopefully put out a flashable zip for you.
You just can't flash other mods, unless they are the exact same buildnumber as the rom you are using. Just the way it is.

So far every mod or method I have attempted to complete, sends my phone into a start up boot loop.
I am on stock rooted 4.22.651.2 odexed. I can change the stock icons using ninjamorph, but once I attempt to change any xml, the phone fails to function.
Any help would be appreciated.
Odexed roms can't be themed or modded, if you want themes and mods you have to use a deodexed rom that's why.
Odexed=no themes, faster startup
Deodexed=themes, mods etc

Ok, my bad. I thought it was possible since I was able to change the battery icons using ninjamorph.
If I install a deodexed rom and make the changes I want can i backup the rom as a odexed rom?

% battery mod with green icons available
Looks great, thank you.
Simple the best, stock battery with necessary % value! Love that! Thank you very much
Thank you! this is brilliant! just flashed on to mine.
I am more than happy with it as is, can I make some suggestions... great...
1. H+ logo is still grey
2. seems icons are permanantly green, stock gingerbread goes green when gtalk is connected.
3. Green while full would be prettier than blue, I think, but that is only preference.
Thanks again!
due to lots of request, now avalaible GREEN battery mod with stock icons just uploaded
enjoy!

E: Signature verification failed.
Any ideas?

So I am a flashaholic and one thing that annoys the hell out of me is having to reapply all the mods after flashing a new rom like the softkey mod or battery percent mod. how do i go about combining all of the .zip files into one and then flashing that ? i assume it isnt as simple as just extracting all the zips into same folder and then re-zipping... any help would be appreciated!

Its easier to find a ROM that includes all the mods you like. Its not as easy as combining zips together. Some mods (such as battery percentage) require edits to the png files and xml's etc. I highly recommended the AOKP rom. It features battery percentage, legacy menu and many other mods you won't have to flash separately.

Hi,
I have a Galaxy Nexus GSM with stock 4.0.4 rom.
I tried to apply a custom battery with uot kitchen but i have an error when apply with clockworkmod recovery.
This is working on my Nexus S 4.0.3...
Do i miss something ?
Edit : i found this but i totaly don't understand how to do that on windows 7...
WORKAROUND for recovery error (Status 0):
1. Unzip your ROM and find
META-INF/com/google/android/update-binary file
2. Put this file in the UOT zip (overriding UOT's file)
Any suggestion ?
Please...
I need battery percentage too...
Stock GSM 4.0.4...

Me again, if it's possible ...
The first requirement to having the circle battery mod is a deodexed rom (stock is not). I believe the uot kitchen isn't compatible with ics yet
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using xda premium
But on the first page we can see this :
Kitchen features:
Battery mod for ICS roms (NEW!)
Notification window for qhd/hdpi/mdpi/ldpi roms (NEW!)
Bootanimations for qhd/hdpi/mdpi/ldpi roms (NEW!)

It does say that, you're right. I find it odd though because it doesn't even include ics in the file upload instructions. You're not fully stock correct? You're rooted right?

Yes i'm root.
But why it's working on my Nexus s 4.0.3 and not on GN 4.0.2 or 4.0.4 now ?
I pickup the "update-binary" file in the ota update to 4.0.4 and remplace UOT's file in the mod.
The error is gone but the modification of the battery icone is not working, still have the original icone !
Anyone have an idea ?
Edit : yeahhhhh i found the solution !!!!!
You can close.

And what was the solution? Maybe i can take it for my Jelly Bean, wich also doesn't work with UOT Kitchen...
Or have someone a tutorial to handle it with the GN and Jelly Bean?
thx...

It works like a charm. Just choose update-binary EMMC .

Thanks, it is working.
I tried to find the battery mod for stock 4.0.4 rom for a while. This is working fine.
I still like the circle one better. Do you have any link to circle battery % for Stock 4.0.4?
Thanks,
after flashing this i no longer have the status bar and navigation keys:|

are you sure you have a stock odexed 4.0.4?
if you use ARHD (like your signature show) it will not work!
ARHD is a deodexed ROM!
I had been looking for just the battery mod for a long time because I also prefer the stock odexed, thanks
But I have a question, could you explain how you have compiled and decompiled systemui.apk? is that I use google apktool to decompile and compile, but when compiling it give me an error on aapt.exe error (copied from sdk-tool), even without changing anything on Systemui.apk it gives me error
I would be very helpful to my
i used apktools-ics from this forum:
http://www.galaxynexusforum.com/forum/galaxy-nexus-hacking-mods-lte-cdma/2562-how-decompile-compile-using-apktools.html
aapt.exe was already included and worked fine for me.
Thanks it is very usesfull

Cool! Happy to see some mods also for odexed rom!
@wurstfett: thanks for the mod... do you happen to have a back-to-stock archive for the 1% battery mod? The modified SystemUI.apk will cause the IMM76I OTA update to fail...

Second this as well, would be MUCH appreciated!
Thanks god I made a little backup of SystemUI.apk and SystemUI.odex with RootExplorer. I have replaced them, updated to IMM76I, used the zipfile mod again (SystemUI.apk has still exactly the same size, so I have just tried it) and it works fine for me
If someone need it, I put two zip files to go back to stock IMM76D/I.

yea that's what I was missing i think, the odex file. i pushed a stock systemui.apk but instead ended up losing the entire status bar. maybe i needed the original odex file.
regardless i found a workaround. I followed the instructions on this thread and ONLY flashed the system.img and it got me back to stock and allowed me to flash the latest update.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1391881
hope this helps others who are trying to get back to stock. This didn't wipe anything cause it only replaced system files.

You can use one of the zip files on my post if you want
Well, I managed to pull the stock SystemUI.zip from the Google 4.0.4 factory image by converting system.img to .ext4 format using sgs2toext4 and extracting SystemUI.apk with Linux_Reader.
Update to IMM76I went fine after that.
Now waiting for a 1% battery mod for IMM76I

Probably yes (if there are no - yet undetected - issues running a IMM76D SystemUI.apk in an IMM76I environment), but you will lose the IMM76I changes to SystemUI.apk.
This is because the 1% Battery mod does not patch SystemUI.apk, it replaces it with a modded IMM76D version.
guys, MOD´s for IMM76I are now added to first post. I also included a "back to stock" now
