Miss s2 phone app feature - Samsung Galaxy Nexus

After using s2 for some time I really got used to searching for a contact on the dialpad in the phone app to call someone. ( call mom just hit 666 and all contacts with letters mom would show)
Anyone know of an app or port for the nexus?

you'll need the T9 dialler
you can grab another dialler app from the play store or you could flash any custom ROM (i recommend AOKP) for the ICS dialler with the T9 function

Help with swipe pad

I was wondering if someone could help me. I really like using swipepad but it causes lag in the general feeling of any rom. Is there a memory setting or something i can do to keep the smooth feel of a rom while using swipepad?

No swipe pad. It's a nice little tool to quickly jump to any app. It's in the market.

Its typical I'm guessing... kind of like when you have a toast notification and it lags until it goes away... this might be suffering the same issue.

I'll give it a try but I'm not hopeful. Thanks.

Yea. Nothing really helped swipe pad. I have found that using aokp b35 with nova launcher and setting my my right soft key to open the app drawer gets rid of the need to use swipe pad

I cannot confirm this on Nexus 7.
I have a long time experience with SwipePad on my Gingerbread Samsung Galaxy W. I have buy full collection: https://play.google.com/store/apps/developer?id=Calcium+Ion
I can start apps on this phone without any delays, I have never seen toast notification "Starting App_Name" on it.
Now I have SwipePad installed on my shiny new Jelly Bean Nexus 7 too. Even here SwipePad usually responds immediately without any delay (I mean how long it take to start swiped app), but sometimes I get in the bottom third of the screen toast notification "Starting App_Name" with some delay, let say 1 or 2 second or so. Why is there this delay on Jelly Bean (4.1.2) and only sometime?

HTC Sense Live Wallpaper Request (will donate)

Has anyone put the sense live wallpaper into an apk for other phones? Im looking for the multi color rainbow bubble looking one. I think that would be cool to have on my gnex. Im willing to donate for a lag free working one.
Thanks

Unless they changed it for the one x. That wallpaper is very old do a Google search you should be able to find it
Edit: The old ones don't seem to work with ics. Anyway I found this phase beam edited version that works.

It should already be there system wide... you could try downloading the add on dictionary in keyboard settings if you haven't already done so
It won't be all colorful and every as you may expect, it'll be kinda small and in black and white

[REQ] Galaxy S3 Messaging app

Hello,
I spend a lot of time in the messaging apk and i fell in love with the stock one from the S3.
So naturally, would it be hard to port it? And if it isn't, is somebody willing?
Id be happy with an inverted MMS.apk

Good evening. My wife and I are both on Sprint. I am running Eclipse nightly right now. My wife has a stock SGSIII that just received the JB update. She can not receive a call from me since the update. That is the only number that I can not call. She can receive my texts, but no calls... Any suggestins?

you are posting in the nexus forum fyi. I would personally contact the carrier for problems relating to network before an android development forum.

What does your wife's S3 got to do with our device? (not sure you own a nexus though?) Ask in the S3 forums or Sprint or Samsung.
Maybe you flashed a Nexus rom on a gs3?

Her device is stock. OP, if she uses Google Voice, check her settings and make sure she didn't block your number by mistake. If not, call Sprint and have them troubleshoot. My wife had the same problem and we got it fixed. GL
