Trying to install V6 superchager for the first time and doesnt seem like it is working.
Darkforest ICS and Kernel
installed busybox
script manager
downloaded script as pdf
renamed to .sh
run script as root
and I get nothing. No errors or anything, ive waited for 10 minutes and it was the same. Anybody have any tips? Thanks
For ICS roms you have to do an additional step, modding the services.jar file.
Read the thread properly.

Thanks for the reply! But forgot to add I already completed that second step as well. But I run the script manager and nothing happens. Just an Exit Code 0. Ive searched high and low and cant really figure this one out :/

hello everyone. can anyone point me in the right direction on how to make a flashable zip? i mostly need help on making the updater script. i don't really know how it works. other than that i think i know what to do. so if someone could explain it to me or point me to a guide on how to do it i would appreciate it.
p.s. yes i did google and yes i did find a few pages with bits and pieces of info but the info on them didn't really help...
edit: if anyone needs to know, im trying to make a zip that replaces the lib audio files in the /system/lib/ folder in synergy rls1. the audio craps out every couple of days and i found the files needed to fix it and adb pushing them manually is a kinda long/boring process to do twice a week.

It helps to have an example to use.
Get a copy of a gapps zip. It flashes a lib file. Edit the updater-script to do just what you need with those files and resign it with ROM kitchen or one of the other signing tools available. Its pretty self explanatory once you go over the script. The rest can be figured out with a little trial and error.

im still mega confused. i looked at a gapps file and when i looked at the updater script it just said it was deleting stuff. so then how do the files get pushed to the /system/whatever u put it in/ ???
So after using Odin back to Eclair, updating to EC05, rooting, updating to EI22, flashing Thunderhawk III, I reinstalled script manager and tried to run V6 Supercharger. Looking through the script I see what looks to be like some errors, and quadrant scores are low. I don't believe the script is running correctly. I re downloaded the script, tried again, and still no go. Any ideas what may be going on? See thumbnails. Thanks everyone

I had the same problem.. This is what fixed it for me:
Get BusyBox Installer from the market (by JRUMMY16), install 1.18.2 to the /system/bin and the /system/xbin folders. Now try it again.
Yup... Busybox Error. If the market dl fix don't work, its the rom.

Root explorer to copy/paste to both folders after dl?
Nevermind, I see the installer allows you to choose where to install
*update: everything seems to work now, no need to setup script again- shortcut works, benchmark scores up
Thanks guys, much appreciated
I am running one of the new cm7 nightlys with godmod kernel. I cannot get the init.d scripts to run on boot. I've tried 3.3.7 and still no go. Anything I'm missing?
Do you have init.d folder in system/etc/??

I do, it also has a bunch of random scripts in there from the initial flash of the rom.
I just cannot figure out why my phone will not execute any of the scripts in the folder.

How do you know it's not running the scripts? What are you doing to verify if it is or not?

Hit that thanks button if I managed to help
Installed a ram script, and some other things. Reboot. Check minfree values and they are still stock.
Actually your ultimate ram script.
I think my post might have been a little under developed. My apologies.
I'm running SmurfedOut V6.6.
I was checking out other scripts available and came across V6 Supercharger. While reading up on the thread I saw that the OP mentioned that stock roms don't run a script at boot.
What I'm wondering was if there is a way to check that the script is running or a way that I can make the script run automatically at boot.
Again I apologize for the messy post earlier and hope that this issue can be resolved.
Well the issue was resolved through PM. For anyone who has a stock rom and is using Script Manager make sure of 2 things after you click on the script:
1) Make sure to click the skull and crossbones to run as root and
2) Make sure you click the cog two tabs down to make it run on boot.
This information should be put into any OP under the [SCRIPT/TWEAKS] header.
Thanks again to PapaSmurf151.
