Yes I did, and no there were no beats headphones. Although there was never any mention on their website that beats headphones would be included so I wasn't expecting any. You might have a case if you were told by someone at CPW that you'd definitely be getting them, but I wouldn't hold your breath otherwise.

Yep, no beats phones with Expansys orders either (but we do get £20 worth of Krussell screen protector - definitely better than beats headphones when the phone comes with a Gorilla Glass 2 screen... NOT )

Here in Belgium the phones don't get beats headphones either,
just the standard HTC ones where included with mine.

Cheers guys, at least I managed to get a free nokia blueetooth headset.

HTC are not supplying Beats headphones anymore, there was rumours of a HTC ONE XL package that came with Beats a few weeks back but the One X does not come with Beats.
I did plug my Chinese knock off Beats Studio headphones into my HTC One X and the Beats icon appeared and I could turn Beats on and off though, so the software is present as stated on the boot screen and on the back cover.

I work for Carphone Warehouse (Well, Geek Squad) but I can confirm that the beat's headphones aren't shipped with the devices. No one's taken them don't worry.

Not in the box for mine from O2. Only place I saw it mentioned was on the HTC site, so can only assume they were for those ordering direct from them.

You only got the beats headfones if you pre ordered the fone

i thought it was only vodafone doing the one x with beats headphones but now im not so sure as i did pre order mine with vodafone. did any 1 else get the beats headphones on pre order but not from vodafone?

i didn't pre order mine (through vodafone), but ordered through the webteam (as i couldn't upgrade my contract via the normal route) but im told the beats headphones should come with it (afaik only because it's the first 10000 orders that get them anyways) , getting it today can't wait!
UPDATE:
The Beats headphones came in the retail packaging, separate from the phone (all was put into a vodafone box) - I still got the standard HTC headphones included within the HTC packaging.

I got mine as an upgrade from T-Mobile in store & didn't get any added extra's. A girl I work with ordered the One S from retention's at Vodafone & received it this morning with URBeats in the box. I know they were giving them to the first 10k orders for the one X but they must have extended it to the S too. It wasn't a pre-order either. I think they are the left overs from the Sensations as I swapped my old Desire with a friend who bought the Sensation a couple of months ago but had it stolen from her bag, no insurance & an 18 month contract with 17 months left to run (ouch). So she's now got my Desire & I've got her URBeats (the exact same ones that arrived with the One S) that were still boxed & £40 (which I didn't ask for) on top, which was nice.
Manc.

I got my handset from a Three Store and only got standard HTC white headphones as well...

30 min ago i reveived my one x..... WITH Monster urBeats headset. But it seams just vodafone delivers them with the one s and one x phones.
the box of the headset is bigger then the htc one..
later i will them a try and sell them oder sell my old in ear headset

Premium headset with flat cable

Hi!
I'm looking for a headset for my One X that has a flat cable BUT is better than the one included or RC E190.
Do you have any suggestions?
I've been looking at the a-JAYS Four, but I'm not sure they'll work on the One X
An alternative is to buy HS U350 and then normal earphones, but then I won't get flat cables.
Regards
Ibeats or tour beats?!

Premium wise.... don't know.
Ive just bought a pair of Sony MDR-EX310LP*EX Monitor series headphones, they don't have a flat cable, but the sound quality is the best in it's price range.
Picked up a brand new pair on eBay for £35.

Can you please check if your mic works and what functionality you actually have in the remote control when using it with the One X?
Could someone tell me whether the standard earphones that come with the One X in the UK should have the soft foam covers over the ear pieces? Mine just don't look right, surely they should come with covers? (See photo)

I noticed the usb cable is much shorter than the one that came with my Desire S
Tour Beats - from personal experience
I have Tour Beats. They are great and come with flat cables.
I have to admit though, when I first got the handset and tested my Tour beats with them, all songs other than the ones provided by HTC sounded crap. I'm talking stuff like Megadeth. I'm sure you can imagine my disappointment.
Then I downloaded DoubleTwist pro and adjusted it's inbuilt equalizer. You won't believe how good the same music sounds with and how crappy without the equalizer. Same songs sound truly amazing now.
I'm transferring all my good music to my HOX as I type.
I wish the default HOX music player came with an equalizer.

Anyone tried the HTC Car Stereoclip?

I was planning to buy a belkin BT to AUX adapter in my car + holder so I can enjoy GPS and music without wires, though I found by accident this HTC Car Stereoclip on the official HTC website.
I want to know i someone tried it and if it's reliable
+1
What I've read about it is that it sound is supposed to stream through it in very high quality
Would be interesting to know how practical it is.
Sent from my HTC One X using XDA
I wonder where we can buy it now in Paris?
I'm planning to get one of these Belkin Gizmos and report back: http://www.belkin.com/IWCatProductPage.process?Product_Id=525857
I was going to buy the same Belkin, but the cables and 12v charger are uglier than the ''nude'' stereoclip.
I received an answer from HTC support, the stereoclip should stream all audio from the One X,included videos
Instead of buying a 600$ Pioneer to have video clips and concerts in your car(and lose wheel controls) I will get the stereoclip + official stand.
The bad news is that HTC will not release them in Europe/Asia before June, even mid June
Still nobody?
I want to know if it's good in playing videos and streaming the sound over the car's speaker?

I'll be getting mine in the next week. I can test and let you know!
So the carclip works well. It honestly sounds just as good as a wired connection. Also, all media will play through the receiver, meaning anything that normally is controlled by "media volume" will play through the car stereo. However, when you receive a call, it will revert back to the phone's on earpiece. My phone is affected by the poor wifi/bluetooth connection issue so the range is fairly small ~1 foot. However, when I press down on the back of the phone the range improves to > 2 feet easily. Also, I can't get my phone to autopair, but that may be due to the weak connection.
I have had it for about 10 days now. It works very well. I have tried it with both my One X and my iPhone 4s. It will pair with up to 8 devices. The sound is awesome, just as good as a CD to my ears. It lasts about 5-6hrs on a charge. I have not had any problems with it cutting out. If you are interested in this....I would say "Buy it". I am VERY impressed with it! It works with video also.

I paid a little less than that from here http://shop.htcpedia.com/htc-car-stereoclip-audio-bridge-a100.html
I heard that Sprint and AT&T stores here in the US will be selling them for even less than that. ~$50-60
Reviving the topic because we just got it in Lebanon!
Price: 120$
At this price I can buy both stereoclip and htc car holder in Europe!!!
So is it worth buying it after all?
Can you use GPS voice assisted app with it?
Also is it still better than the samsung HS3000?

no bro i don't have time, ill do this in the weekend
feutre haha better find something leathery and nice from a gift shop and glue it using uhu super gel (support leather and rubber)
Honestly get the hs3000, it sounds brilliant, no audio sync issues when watching videos
It works with phone calls, it also has a built in mic, had a few calls with it, I didn't ask how I sounded but they didn't complain at least
It has the play/pause, a phone button to either make calls, answer /hang up etc
Only cost me £30 as well, comes with some crappy head phones, I use the beats in ear ones I got with hox, sounds almost better than when plugged in
Sent from my HTC One X using xda app-developers app
The problem is that sammy Lebanon didn't bring it here!
So I must stick with HTC expensive solution...
Now I must choose between Stereoclip + stand = watching video clips,GPS...
Or add the factory Citroen USB Box which add USB plug to my car audio= control music with the wheel buttons + get mp3 tag on the car's screen.Though it will cost 350$.
The good thing of stereoclip is that I will be able to use it with most cars later and any BT device while the citroen usb box will only work with my actual car

ibeats

Hi guys, so I just received my Ibeats headphones from P4U as I complained that their website had said it came with beats and mine didnt. In any case, after it arrived yesterday, I was reading the packaging and it says that the remote and mic are made for Ipod and Iphone and only work with these?
Is this the case? Would I not actually be able to use it as handsfree then? And if so, I'm thinking of selling it brand new and getting the beats solo mini HD if all it'll be is headphones. Any thoughts on the solo mini HD as headphones? Should I stick with ibeats vs those if all it'll be is headphones?
Sorry if this is the wrong place to post? Wasnt sure as its a question, but about one x accessories
All the Beats headphones on sale at present are aimed at iPods/iPhones - headphones aimed at HTC devices will start coming out soon (apparently)
The urBeats are for HTC and came with the Sensation series. The iBeats are for iPhone/iPod. The urBeats work great with the HTC One X. All functions of the remote and microphone work:

No only urBeats work not those iBeats. And by the way iBeats are meant for ipod/iphone
With ibeats the hands-free does work. But volume control doesn't. I thought ubeats volume control didn't work.
Sent from my HTC One X using XDA
Apparently the urBeats headset do work with all the controls buttons doing their exact functions!
Just to clear up this mess of information..... The ibeats have a play/pause button which also answers calls and volume up and down control buttons. The volume up and down buttons WILL NOT work however the play/pause and answer button works fine.
The urbeats have the same play/pause and answer button but have a skip track forward and backward instead of volume control. All buttons work with the onex and this headset. You can purchase a genuine pair of urbeats headphones here: http://www.handtec.co.uk/product.ph...y-dr--dre-in-ear-3-5mm-headphones---white-red
thanks for the replies guys.
Seems the gist of this is, the play/pause works and doubles up as answer call function, but the volume control does not on the Ibeats.
As I said, I got Ibeats for free from P4U. So in this case, is it worth keeping the Ibeats, or would you guys recommend selling it and getting beats solo mini HD headphones, seeing as my Ibeats would be essentially just a headset? What are the advantages/disadvantages between Ibeats and solo mini HD?
Cheers
Right up until I seen this thread I thought I owned iBeats but as matter of fact its urbeats I own as the control function doesn't work on my iPod but works on my onex thanks for the info vin87

I own a pair of urBeats headphones. The HTC One X detects the headphones and selects the urBeats profile.
Only minor complaint is that the bass is somewhat lacking. However the mid range and treble and stereo separation are excellent.

Ok I bought the HTC stereoclip last week from HTC Lebanon (Microage)
The price was really fair specially for my country where everything is 2-3x more expensive!
Paid 60$ :good:
I tested this car accessory with 2 devices: One without aptx(a sort of BT codec) the Cowon J3 and the other my lovely One X which has aptx.
With Cowon J3:
-Pairing was fast and good
-Sound quality is ...crappy
-Maximum volume output in my car stereo speakers (Citroen DS3) is weak
With HTC One X:
-Pairing was fast and good
-Car app open automatically BT and stream without asking, very convenient!
-Sound quality is...very good!
-Maximum volume output in my car stereo speakers is high, let say at the same level as an audio CD!
HTC car app uses a ''modded'' version of HTC Music app,the navigation is easier in case of a car holder but you get only the Beats sound enhancer, which is too bassy!
The trick I found is to go to Viperx tweaks (only in viperx rom) and replace the music app in car app by the HTC ''classic'' music app,I then gain multiple sound enhancers like SRS WOW and others
So in conclusion, yes it will work with many BT devices like the Cowon J3(which has only earphones BT mode only) but the sound quality and volume will be weak, if you want to buy it for the aptx ready HTC One line then it's a winner.
I am going to buy the HTC car holder for One X,it will be a very nice car audio system then...
This is just a suggestion, but could you also use a USB On The Go cable?
Can you link your phone, at the same time, to your car's Bluetooth for phone calls?
If someone calls the music is automatically cut but the voice call doesn't work with stereoclip.I don't have BT on my car radio that's why I bought this nice piece.
Yes you can recharge it with a micro usb cable while it's playing but anyway the battery last 3 days if you don't turn it off
I bought this too this past weekend.

I use it 2012 Chevy Tahoe LT. The Tahoe has BT for phone calls built in. I can pair my phones between the two BT devices.
Phone - Tahoe
Media - HTC Stereoclip
The phones I'm using? Samsung Galaxy S3 and Galaxy Note.
Audio sounds great!

Thats good to know, I was wondering about that.
Technically while this is an HTC product, everyone with an Android phone/device should know about this. Honestly though I'd like to see the price drop down 40%-50%. I have a BT stereo headset that allows for 3.5mm plug-in and does the same thing and it cost $30. That battery doesn't last as long (15-20hrs while streaming) but you get the point.
I bought mine at Best Buy in the Cell Phone department. I had to find it on my own because the employees are inept and looked at me funny when I explained it to them.
The big bads of JB + Sense roms?
-No more Tunin radio integration in Car App
-Only Beats mode available now for Music app whereas it's in the car app or the classic HTC Music app.
Don't know why HTC took out all the others (SRS,Equalisers,presets...)

Great set of earbuds to pair with your HTC 10

So since we didn't receive any Hi-Res earbuds in the US I was looking for some that sounded great without breaking the bank and I think I found a winner. For only $26 you can't beat the quality. I ordered mine directly from the mi.com website to ensure I didn't get some fakes. They have dual drivers also just like the HTC 10 and sound better than my beats urbeats for sure. http://www.mi.com/en/headphonespro/

I never has the piston2, but I did have a pair of the mi colorful editions which sound great also but I gave them to my son since he lost his others. And those were only $5 shipped so for the price it's really hard to beat their headphones and the quality is great.

Yeah I agree in term of bang for bux xiaomi is hard to beat.
KZ Ates are very very good with the 10 and for only 9$ delivered free with aliexpress it's crazy not to buy them.
The bundled Hi-res earphones are slightly better in terms of soundstage but a bit too much on treble side, the KZ Ates are more balanced but with an emphasis to bass though without making shades over other channels, they have a great amount of details too.
They have a memory wire perfect for sports
I've got Xiaomi Piston 2s and yes, Xiaomi makes the best price to performance earbuds on the market. I lose earbuds quite a bit, this is my second pair of Piston 2s, and I had 2 pairs of Piston 1s as well. Hopefully I don't lose these, but when I inevitably do I'll grab the new ones.
Hard to argue with xiamois price to performance. But a dynamic + BA hybrid is hard to come by for <100. Might have to try these out.
