Lags for me too. I didn't realise it was a widespread thing until I saw this thread.
Edit - another I've noticed. The other day it was coming up with the data usage warning notification (which you can't swipe away..) even though I wasn't near my limit. So I turned it off. However, now it's showing me the notification again. Even though I'm not near my limit and I turned it off..

That's actually better to keep wifi on during sleep for better battery. But sucks they have a bug.
Taking the auto brightness off will remove the unlock lag.

I'm not on stock (aokp) but since 4.0.4 I'm experinecing data drops. It may be the rom but if any of you guys have it too then it might be stock's bug.
2 time already: I wake up the phone and no data. Nothing restores it except reboot. Toggling mobile data doesn't work. Calling functionally is not affected, just data.

I've got the exact same issue..its getting sort of annoying.
---------- Post added at 11:39 PM ---------- Previous post was at 11:34 PM ----------
Some of the issues I'm having is that the lock screen lags and whenever I unlock it for some odd reason I feel the haptic feedback vibration and some app gets triggered to open so it gives me the dialogue box to choose which app to use to open whatever I triggered...this isn't good -_-..data goes off for me at times as well..overall a better update but these small issues are annoying.
The volume slider cannot be touched to different sound profiles like 4.0.2. They are now located on the power menu. in 4.0.4 Although this may not be a bug it bugs me.....

Just installed 'Ripple lock' from markey(free). I know there is widgetlocker, and some/a lot of people prefer it. This is just another choice.
Gives a honeycombish lock screen, with choice of background/pic from your gallery.

If you use AdFree, you don't see them.

I use it and I like it but the truth is that it is full of bugs.
bugs
a) If you let the phone sleep you will have to unlock twice. First the samsung lockscreen and then the ripple lock screen. -this cant be reproduced always or I havent found the exact bug.
b) After making a call, I need to unlock ripple and then end the call.

Just doesnt seem to be a 100% replacement yet. For some reason I don't get on with widget locker either.
I hope someday some devs here will port the Sensation lockscreen with its weather animation, I don't think it's very difficult, weather can be linked to stock weather instead of Rosie.
Widgetlocker is good but doesn't speed up the phone waking, I think we will have to wait for CM7 or MIUI

First I noticed that my email icon says I have 205 emails, no matter what. I also noticed that my voicemail icon doesnt like to clear. All my ringtones were set back to default even my email and text. Even after resetting my email ringtone it still wont sound. My multi-window kept opening every time I hit the back button even though I had made it stay closed by pressing and holding the back button. I had to restart my phone for that to work correctly. While this was going on, my phones battery was really bad for 2 days. I didnt even use it, it was connected to wifi and the battery drained by 8 pm, with no use. Its 10:45 here right now and I have 80%, which is good. I noticed the screen flickers with white sometimes too when I hit the home key. I am getting really tired of my phone not working. There was another thing that wasnt working correctly but I forgot what it was, a restart fixed it though. Anyone else having problems? what should I do? I know it isnt much but I like my stuff to work correctly. I Am stock rooted. I am not on lk8.

Sounds like something is borked from a bad download or flash. I would reset to rule out the normal issues. With all the sms and app backup programs out there you don't stand to lose much, if anything, by reflashing the rom.
Why the hesitation?
Rooting can be great but typically is to install a program (feature) or rom that didn't come stock. If you're doing this and can't afford to reset if a conflict comes up then it generally its a good idea to stay 100% stock and let sprint fix your issues [which they typically do with a reset]
If you decide to reset try sms backup, and an app backup program like titanium or app backup and restore.
Good luck!

Hi
I'm not a developper but I created an app with the Tasker App Factory that unplug 3G one minute after you lock your screen. The one minute delay is here to prevent the phone plugging and unplugging at any time the screen goes off. During this delay, if you wake your device, the process will stop and begin again when you turn the screen off. When the screen is off, after the 1 minute delay, 3G is stopped while the phone is in your pocket to prevent battery drain
Once it is stopped, if you wake the device a new 5 second delay is started, for those who just want to check the clock , and then the 3G is plugged with a ''Data restarted'' toast
Note : Tasker IS NOT required to use this apk :victory:
Feel free to request any modification like the delay or the toast text, I'm here to share such things. And if it helped, don't forget the :good: button

cpu usage
Your app gave me a watchdog alert as it's using more than 50% CPU. This would counteract any benefits as eating CPU results in battery drain.
It also uses 15.3 mb of ram when its role is simple and in no way justifies the ram/CPU usage.
Going to try this as I am tired of manually switching to 2g all the time.

Manage your LED notification light fast and easily. No more trying to guess which app or which person demands your attention with random colors.
Features:
Select color by app or by text. Your favorite contacts can have their own color no matter which app they use to contact you.
Handle missed called.
Fine tune blinking speed for each notification.
Lightweight, almost no memory and battery footprint.
This app makes use of Android's 4.3 Notification Listener and thus it must be enabled under Device Settings > Security > Notification Access. It cannot access the internet so your personal data is absolutely safe.
Thanks for giving it a look!

If you go in to system updates through the settings and check for the update, you have 3 options, No Thanks, Download Later, and Download Now.
If you click No Thanks, the alert goes away. It will even state in the system update app that the last update (on June 30th, 2105) failed.
Download later allows you to choose a time that better suits you.
And of course Download Now, starts the process right now.
Hope this helps.

From Droid-Life:
An update is rolling out for the LG G4 on Verizon, bringing a few features to owners, but nothing all that special. The software version is labeled as VS98611A.
Included is an enhanced Folio display while a call is taking place, an updated consistency for displaying contacts and non-contacts in the Dialer app, and an enhanced Advanced Calling feature. That’s it.

Spoke to soon still having keyboard issues
At least you've been asked..mine just keeps waiting to connect to Wi-Fi..talk about a battery drain.
EDIT: Fixed the issue. If anyone else wondering just go to Settings and click system update and it will give you options

Wow that is very odd...
I didn't have to do anything to be able to Choose "No Thanks".
I operate on a Federal Corporate line I wonder if that has any affect.
If you disable Wifi are you able to click "No Thanks"?
