I called someone and they started laughing as soon as I started talking. Evidently my voice sounded about an octave too high, like I was a chipmunk. I made another phone call to a different unsuspecting friend to confirm that the problem was my phone, and they also said I sounded like I had been huffing helium. So my question is, what happened? A simple reboot fixed the "problem".
I flashed CM7 a few days ago and nandroided back to my Warm 2.2 after running into some unrelated problems, but I don't know if that has anything to do with this. I'm just curious what happened; it's not a huge deal since the problem went away. I have to say I haven't laughed that hard during a phone call in a while.

Maybe your balls finally dropped after the reboot?
Haha well see? Cm7 helps you appreciate life!
A drop of Chuck Norris's semen was placed on Android OS. We now have CyanogenMod.

At one time, I remember calling my kids and they said I sounded like the devil or really scary. Well days before I had called a friend and he acted like he didn't recognize me but didn't say anything else. So later he said that he didn't know you could change your voice, but I didn't know what he was referring to until my kids told me about it. Lmfao! But it just fixed itself I guess.

Hey, it's me OP, I was from Myn's RLS5 forum asking about this question. Well, I never flashed a CM rom before but I have flashed the Virus 2.3.3 Gingerbread about a month ago. I also use FullHDMI everyday. Do you use HDMIwin of FullHDMI?
Full HDMI... I haven't been able to reproduce the problem yet, but maybe I'll try some experiments...

There is a known issue running this game on CM9. It will eventually freeze up causing a reboot and sometimes it will delete all your game data when you restart it. Is this issue present on TW based GB and ICS rooms?
This happened to me on CM9. I've never been so furious.

Yeah, thats what I do now. Whenever I reach a worthwhile achievement I just back it up in Titanium. For what it's worth I think it's just this build of CM9 because on my Xoom's CM9 I played for 30 minutes straight w/o a hiccup. Oh well.

This happened to me on CM9 the other day! I was so pissed off, but it was a good thing I took a screenshot of my high score (over 1.5 mill) and sent it to my gf. Not only do I have proof which is good enough for me, but she's still pissed because she can't beat it lol......she came close though
I have since switched to stock FD19 and spent a bit of time trying to work my way back

Did the same to me Codename a2 i thonk it might be with AOSP based roms
Ok, I just want to see if anyone else is having this problem. Ive found that tweetcaster on any ICS rom ive tried seems to cause major heating. I know ICS leaked builds have had this issue in general, but I just want to know if anyone else is encounteering the same problem.
Cpu usage gets to about 47% and then the phone will get super hot, and then of course battery takes a nose dive. I hate to switch twitter apps, but its the best one out there for most. any input from people that are using it.
oh yeah follow me on twitter lol @yungjuice216 haaaa

Sorry if this is already answered. I don't want to use more data than I must. I tried CM a couple of months ago and it was laggy in games such as Sonic CD. They said it was an issue on the firmware and it should be fixed sometime. I was curious as to if this is fixed, or if this is at least a problem that IS fixable. I love the CM firmware, but the game lag kinda kills it for me.
Appreciations to anyone who helps/tries to help.
It should be good to go for the most part. Try out different governors in performance if not. Leave the hardware overlays on as well.

Choose pbj kernel as your kernel. Zomg!!!! YouTube app finally plays all the NBA and boxing videos smoothly. Don't try and tell me, YouTube is smooth. Watch an NBA video or a player highlight. Its SO choppy. Saberkernel wasn't cutting it. Pbj kernel will change your life.

P.s. why do people get so defensive about things like this? I'm not getting paid for people flashing a kernel. You're lucky I'm even telling you guys about how good this kernel is. Most people will never even find out about this kernel. What if someone reads my thread, gives it a try, and they fall in love like I did?
Such a defensive bunch.

It's actually probably best to let this thread die, because as you said people are getting defensive or as you are claiming kernels are lagging. Saber is an outstanding kernel and I had zero lag and ptmr3 is a great dev and constantly improving his work.
I love PBJ too and actually tend to use it when I'm on a custom kernel maybe partially from nostalgia of the charge. Having said that I find stock is the best for me and I get zero lag.
Here's why, kernels are a funny thing what is great for your phone may be not so great on my phone. I have an example above, but another is trinity kernel bootloops me every time and I can't use it, but many users seat by it. So I believe you that you had you tube lag on Saber and I believe the other guy that he had none. Either way this thread is going to spiral into bashing the work a dev donated to the community very quickly, so it's best to just let it die.

I'm not sure if you meant to say I was getting defensive about SaberKernel? I just gave my opinion the same way you did, just because you have a problem doesnt mean I have it, just saying. And Im glad there are many choices of kernels, that its always good.

We ARE lucky you told us!
FWIW the PBJ kernel let my device surprise me with random reboots. I love spontaneity! YMMV.
But seriously, I had better luck with Devil kernel but have since gone back to stock for battery savings and to cure some weird stuff with s note.

Pbj kernel reminds me of ktoonz kernel for the s4. No RR, YouTube doesn't lag and calls don't hang, also not as many force closes as with saber.

I see that someone already left a link, but I flashed it during the flashing of tweaked ROM. Its like aroma installer. 2 seperatea zip files. Gotta read the instructions in tweaked thread.
I literally didn't even bother flashing it with the separate aroma installer file, until I saw that someone said pbj kernel is great on battery.
