[Q] Any chance coming to tmo usa? - HTC One X

The one s is coming soon.. does anyone think there's a slim chance at all the one x will come to t-mobile usa with any variant? International version will not work with tmo hsdpa+ I guess it's the Galaxy S3 for me.

No it wont come and that is the reason One S is coming.

Tmo will be upgrading to hspa+ 1900 mhz this year so just wait

is there a version of the one x that works on tmobile 3g/4g bands?

just like the title says. I have finally decided to go with the one x over the gs3... But i want to switch to tmobile (att is evil) so i was wondering if there is any version of the one x that works on tmobile 3g/4g bands?
Nope, here's my speedtest on my One X on Tmo

Full bars I've seen close to 200kbps.
And Tmo should start rolling out 1900Mhz 3G by the end of this month completing nationwide mid 2013

Is the international GS3/quad core compatible with T-Mobile?

I assume the quad core gs3 is GSM? Will it work with T-Mobile 4G HSPA+? My friend is on T-Mobile and is planning to get the gs3 off contact. He wanted me to find out if T-Mobile 4G will work with the quad core version or should he just buy the T-Mobile version instead.

It will work but you will be stuck on Edge.
I'd check what frequencies it has. I'm using a T-Mobile version on at&t and get 4g data. If the international version has T-Mobile's frequencies then it should work.

Are you getting 4g lte or hspa? I don't think t-mobile s3 can do lte

Would this work?
Tmobile uses Band (frequency): 850 MHz;900 MHz;1800 MHz;1900 MHz;UMTS: Band I (2100);UMTS: Band IV (AWS);UMTS: Band V (850)
Device Additional Information tab on that site says "Service 900, 1800, 1900, 850, 3g 2100"
But at the top of the page it says "Band:GSM 850/900/1800/1900"
T-Mobile UMTS/HSPA+ (3G/4G) mostly runs off 1700/2100 and the international model i9300 does not support the frequency we use. The quad band GSM/EDGE will work (and therefore voice/text and slow internets).
AT&T uses a more normal 850/1900 for everything but LTE, making them more "Normal" along with our Canadian neighbors.
T-Mobile is weird :-o.
If you've got access to any make of GSM based + unlocked iPhone, stick your T-Mobile SIM in it and see what speed you can get. An unlocked AT&T phone may work for testing also. We're supposed to be getting better coverage in this kinda frequency range for that but it will likely be a long time before we get sufficient coverage to enjoy a i9300.
Well put. It will be a long time before we see decent coverage for AT&T/UK phones.

[Q] Buying Advice, LTE vs HSPA+ ?

Hi guys,
I'm wondering should i go for the HSPA+ on the galaxy note 2, since i hear it's more battery friendly ?
Dose the Galaxy note 2 international version support HSPA+ 1700 ? and LTE ? i really tried to figure out the differences but i couldn't.
I'm using my simple mobile in Austin, TX and they are pretty cheap and offer HSPA+ 1700, which i'm willing to go for and trade LTE for battery. is this a good idea?
Your thoughts about the white vs gray ? ,, gray looks cool
im in the us, which is a good site to order from? ,, should i buy or is it wiser to wait?
Thank you guys in advance and please help
Fellow Austinite here also excited for the Note II! I'm gonna wait for the T-Mobile version. It's going to have support for their HSPA+ network and is future proofed with LTE when T-Mobile starts deploying that, so you should be able to choose which radio you want on.
From an article I read several weeks back when the TMobile Note2 was first leaked, the TMobile version will only support HSPA+. It won't even support TMobile's LTE, when the get around to building it. So I'm waiting to see if the ATT version will cover TMobile's frequencies or how modem flashing works out.

According to FCC
The note II on t-mobile WILL support their LTE and it will be future proof.

T-Mo seems to be the version to get!! love their use of DC-HSPA
Thanks guys! You're the best,
definitely waiting for T Mo's and getting the best of both worlds

Get the HSPA+. It is more battery friendly like you said, and HSPA+ is actually comparable to LTE.
LTE has its MAJOR benefits. I love LTE but right now, I'm gonna jump on the HSPA int'l version first.
Guess I'm waiting for the TMobile one. Also curious how flashable the modem is. It would be nice is the differences between all the phones was only a flash.

No, but remember that T-Mo is changing their 1900 Edge band to HSPA+. If you wait a couple of years than it will be compatible with T-Mo H+.

[q] pentaband

so i was just wondering but is the tmobile variant a pentaband phone? reason i ask is because since lte will be on their old spectrum (1700) and they are gonna start using 1900 does that mean its technically a pentaband phone? i have a gnex and i travel overseas so having a pentaband phone would be nice to have and would give me a reason to sell my gnex for the note. thanks
The tmo note is quadband 3g supporting 850/1900/AWS/2100 bands

International or att S4?

Would it be better to get an international s4 and unlock to use on att or should I get an att s4 instead?

you can get one from att cheaper subsidized but you will be locked in for two. years.. If you use lte you only have a choice to get att version as internation will not work with let..
The International has an octacore while the att will only have a quad because of lte

Not true. Some international markets will receive lte versions. I'm unsure of the processor included with them. It seems Europe is starting to upgrade their networks to lte

Correct. You will have to be knowledgeable of the different model numbers (i95XX,etc) and know which one(s) are lte. I'm not sure of any of these devices hardware spec differences yet. Soon.
Locked since its not related to ATT SGS3. Use http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2192630
