I have the puerto rican variant of the lumia 800. I have a wide selection of language options and language keyboard options. Does anyone know if the lumia 900 have the same setup and/or options for language inputs?
For those who have the lumia 900 can some one tell me if the greek keyboard is available? I hope its the same setup as my lumia 800.
thanks
The NA version of the Nokia Lumia 900 only offers two display languages: English and Spanish. All keyboard inputs are avaialble, though.

have you figured it out yet? i'm trying to sell my phone here in BJ but I can only sell to foreigners until I get that language on there.
AT&T Lumia 900 does Chinese language quite nicely. Under region+language settings modify sytem locale, browser & search language to either Traditional or Simplified Chinese. Then add Chinese keyboard input for 注音符號 and Hanyu Pinyin. They are both there. Good luck!
wait.... how can u use 900 in china?
i thought it's lock to at&t

I have a lumia 800 that I use and bought a 900 from my friend who works at at&t when I visited the states a few weeks ago. It is locked to at&t still. Waiting for that code.

As for 注音符號, can you choose Eten (倚天) keyboard layout? And can you use the Hanyu Pinyin Keyboard to output Traditional Chinese? Any handwriting input?
You can type in Chinese but the display language for the UI is still locked to English or Spanish.

Here are the keyboard options on my Titan (I *think* these are standard Mango, so it should be the same on a Lumia 900):
Chinese Simplified 12 Key
Chinese Simplified Handwriting
Chinese Simplified QWERTY
Chinese Traditional Handwriting
Chinese Traditional BoPoMoFo
I don't see any further settings for the Chinese keyboards (I might be missing something).

bopomofo and handwriting are both included for traditional Chinese. No PinYin :-(
Under Region + Language Settings:
Display Language (no Chinese)
Region Format: Chinese HKG, Macao, PRC, Singapore, and Taiwan
System Locale: Chinese HKG, Macao, PRC, Singapore, and Taiwan
Browser & Search Language: Chinese HKG, Macao, PRC, Singapore, and Taiwan
Cheers
Hi.Have updated my phone with 7.8 and i really want to have my native language as display language but i only have English, French, Spanish, Dutch, Italiano.
Also one more thing, why can i only search the USA marketplace?
Until recently, I had a WP7 which supported a variety of UI languages like German. However, when my Focus died, I got an 8x from Virgin which only supports English, French and Chinese (traditional and simplified). Is there any way for me to download additional UI languages?
Cheers!

For all I know,we can't.But there have Eurpore ROM which support German. If you flash it,you phone will be support have German UI !
It's not very difficult to add a special switcher to Gestures & Touch app (Settings - Extras - Touch).
Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\Touch\Settings. Add key ImprovedTouchSupported, value = 1 (REG_DWORD, Integer).
Then go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\Touch\Settings\FF. Add the same key.
Reboot the device.
But how does it influence on different devices?
I have messages, that Lumia 950 and Lumia 640 XL begin to work with gloves, and Lumia 550 - no.
But what about Lumia 950 XL, Lumia 650 and etc.? Can owners of these phones check?
yes, add new option in touch settings Lumia 950XL

An option appears on all the phones, but turning it on makes the phone really work with gloves only on some devices. Such as 950.
Not working on my 950XL.

This tweek works on any Lumia phone having Settings subkey.
I weren't able to write it on Lumia 535 but on others it worked .
tried on 550 , 630 , 950XL DS and more
Worked on 640
Before
After
It works on my 950XL from what i can tell though I don't think the sensitivity is as good as the one on my late 925
On a side note though the settings say vibrate when the navigation keys are tapped but they still vibrate anyway
