I don't remember how it was presented in Bada 1.x but there are few things missing.
I remember the record button lol then there must missed something in so file but also strings in rsr files, images on rc1 rmb files, surely other things.
I never understand why they removed this option in Bada 2

ShazamiD
http://handheld.softpedia.com/progDownload/ShazamiD-Download-64034.html
ShazamiD enables users to find out what music is playing whenever and wherever they are.
ShazamiD is the world's leading music recognition mobile application. ShazamiD enables users to find out what music is playing whenever and wherever they are. The application takes a 10 second recording of the music, connects to Shazam to find a match and displays the result together with a picture of the album artwork and any products available to buy relating to that track. Users can share their music iD's (tags) as well as manage their list of tags within the application. Users can also see an aggregated chart (Tag Chart) of all the music people have been tagging using Shazam in the UK.

on bada 1.2 default folder is located musicrecognizer.ini too
It would be nice to create an application that will use the platform echonest. This platform is used by several spotify
The Echo Nest is a music intelligence platform company that provides music services to developers and media companies.
It seems you can use Voice Recorder app...
It makes compatible MP3s, BUT...
"Funny Music" App not allow to use MP3s with Recorded Voice in Header...
Use HEX Editor... nuke Text Recorded Voice in Header...
Then Music App can handle this MP3 and Music Recognition work...
In bada 2 it is called Find Tags, see Pics...
Maybe solutions...
1.
Find App where you can record sounds in MP3...
Maybe something in store is available...
2.
Someone write bada App for record MP3 and store for Music App.
Again.
Summary.
Music App not allow to use recorded MP3s with Voice Recorder.
Because Header is blacklistet...
Recorded Voice ----- > this text string is blacklistet...
Only Samsung knows why...

I used Ringtone Pro to record from my PC and then saved the recording. It was able to recognize it Even if it was saved as AAC...
Found Text String in apps_compressed... XXLA1 for instance...
In FULL decompressed file you can find exact 1 hit:
Recorded Voice (as UNICODE)
In compressed part you can find RECORDED only once...
I'll try to change...
Maybe it is the part from Music app...
We will see. Later I'll post report...
Best Regards
Dirty quick test...
I have modified apps_compressed.bin from XXLA1...
Changed 1 Byte...
Now Voice Recorder app write Fecorded Voice instead Recorded Voice...
Now simple start Music app and now you can work with self recorded MP3.
And you have same Music Recognition like in bada 1...
Only you need 2 Apps...
So no Realtime....
Maybe we find other solution too. To change Blacklist of "Recorded Voice" to use in more handsets... S8600 and so on...
Best Regards
Later today I can upload modified apps_compressed... from XXLA1 for S8500.
In combination with unsecdload.fota easy for short test and without dataloss possible...

Bike GPS
I have a Dopod D810 and I am developing a GPS application for it, mainly because nothing I tried out there did everything I wanted, and was suitable for use on a bike.
My app is a
- Raster-based GPS application
- Music Player
- Phone 'answerer'
- Text message display
- Big buttons (so you can press them while riding)
- Good reliability
I initially developed it for my Dell Axim X51v.
It supports importing/exporting routes and tracks to and from GPX and KML files, and can do playback of tracks. (ie it works with Google Maps/Earth routes and tracks)
It supports importing locations from names files.
It supports maps in TFW, SDW, JPG and BSB formats.
Any music files supported by windows media player are supported.
If you have any maps in one of the above format, this is for you!
wahou !
it's look like what i'm looking for ... without pearhaps a graph which expose speed and altitude during the trip... but i'm so interested ! what is the programation language use ? could you send me sources ?if you want, I can send you some draws to complet with option your soft ?
Its done in C++; sorry, I'm not going to release the source, but I'm happy to get any ideas you have.
oh, I forgot, there's a PC version off the same code base which makes it easier to see playback, build routes, etc. I'll add some speed/altitude/time graphs to it over the weekend some time if I get a chance.
I'll also eventually put the installers on my web site.
ok... it's not a problem that you don't release source... just ... could you send me just how you get speed, altitude and position ... you dialogue with the P3600 GPS... is there library or only code lines ?
My idea...
-make a rotation of your cards in function your deplacement like tomtom.
-on my soft, i would like record precedent trip to do versus when I take the same road. This versus could compare KM all long the time and bip me when i'm late.
-the graph which compare my speed and variation of altitude all long my trip
-instant speed/speed trip/time/km
Initially, I used the GPS API in the microsoft SDK, but its not reliable enough (sometimes it stops signalling updates on its event), so I wrote my own from scratch and the NMEA documentation.
- Sorry, I'm not familiar with tomtom, so I'm not sure what your after with your first request.
- Its not exactly easy to track a previously taken path and map it to the current path, but it could be done. The biggest problem is storage of your previous paths. I have about 24GB of old tracks saved! I'm waiting for an 8GB mini SD !
I'll have a look into the idea though.
- Displaying (and even graphing) current speed/time/altitude, ect are trivial and I already do that. I'll look into graphing.
Is anyone else interested in this app?
I would be interested in this for cycling and hiking.
Sorry for this question but why don't you let members of this forum download sources of your GPS API ? Or directly the API compiled to let other programing theirs applications if it is better than windows API ?
For my application I need only to know :
- Altitude
- trip point (x,y)
- how to solve to have speed (v=D/t)
Have you seen http://gpsdash.com/news.php
I'm always looking for more choice...here is one that many of my sport crazed friends are using. I may start using it for tracking my motorcycle rides too. Here is the software http://www.rungps.net/Wiki.jsp?page=HomeEN . Here is the online tracking server http://www.gps-sport.net/index.jsp .
The reason I'm not releasing source is because I may, at some time in the future, make this into a commercial product and I don't want to ruin my chances with that.
The other is that I don't really think it is of much benefit to most people to release source for an application. I think it is far more useful to make a library of the useful functionality, with a well documented API of the thing, so that people can start at a higher level to implement their ideas. Since I don't yet have such a library, I can't release that either .
I went riding on the weekend (its nice and sunny here), so I didn't get any more done on this.
From other people's responses, it looks like there's plenty to choose from anyway.
Once again, Yannn, there is documentation in the Microsoft SDK on how to access the gps (its called gpsapi).
Finally
I have finally decided to release an early version of this software.
Its at
http://www.lukepaton.com/BikeGPS/
If you are able to set things up for yourself, and want to give it a try, go ahead. I haven't got a huge amount of time to support it, so it might take some playing around to get it working, particularly at first. There isn't a manual or help for it, so go looking through all the menus and see what you can find!
To get started, from the View menu, have a look at settings, and set up your paths and then from the Map|File menu, choose, Re-Read All Maps.
Cheers,
Luke
Hi Luke
Thanks for the release. On first run, I got the message:
"Open File \CF Card\Data\BikeGPSMaps.mdt failed"
When I hit OK it closes. I made this directory path and chucked a .jpg in it and then it ran.
I see in Settings>Paths your default project is pointing to your compact flash card so I changed these to \Storage Card\...\
I have had a good look through the menus, it seems to be a pretty nice useful kit. I like the .sid support and export to .csv, even converts from OziExplorer Probably wouldn't use the player or sms fuctionality though.
Logged some data to the .gps_log file, will try and use it later.
Just can't see where to open map image. When I click open map it doesn't have anything in the list to select... No need to bother yourself with a full user manual, but it would be good to load a map background.
Sorry, I first developed it for a Dell Axim, and an iPaq before that. They have CF Cards...
To get it to have some maps to open, Map|File|Re read all maps looks in the map path (Settings|Paths|Map Path) (Mine is \Storage Card\Maps\).
It prompts you for the kind of files to load (KAP, TIF, SID, MAP).
Yes, MAP is from Oziexplorer - some of the map CDs I bought used MAP files, but the code to interpret map files is a bit of a mess, and it doesn't support oziexplorer ozf files...
After that, Map|File|Open Map|All Maps should give you something to open.
You have to select a single map (multiple selection is for delete).
Anyway, its good to see that someone could even get the thing installed
Cannot access menu, progrram will stop after prompt of missing file, it is not installed in memory card/data either. Also shortcut is missing.
Hi Fimae,
I used resco to add a shortcut, but the install program is supposed to put it in 'programs'.
Not sure what you mean by 'cant access menu'. There are about 7 menus, not including popups. Is the main menu visible?
See above about storage card. I'll make it allow you to browse for the storage card the first time it runs.
Thanks for your feedback.
Luke
Now I'm all motivated
I've done an update which should make it easier to work out whats going on when first installing. It will prompt for the path to your files.
At the first prompt, enter /Storage Card/, or wherever your storage will be.
It automatically creates Data/ and Maps/, so put your maps under /Storage Card/Maps/.
The web page now displays the last version and update date.
what about the mount ???
Hi, plz tell me if ur using any good cycle mount to hold trinity securely on the handle bar? where & how much u bought it for??? Anyone???
After trying Arkon mounts and a few cheapies, I found the best was a metal case,
(like this http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Metal-Hard-C...yZ150774QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem) attached using double sided tape and a cable tie!
The problem with the Arkon-style mount is that they don't hold the device securely enough and are too bulky.

I ment that program stops to error dialog, and when i click it ok, application exits without seeing any menus. But now it worked wery well after writing \Storage Card\, thank you wery much.
I know this must be stupid question (like where is the any key) but i really does not understand what kind of form i have to use to copy maps to Bike gps? I have route66 and tomtom navigator maps (and for testing only miomap) in my storage card, i supposed that i cannot use map files from those apps?
Looking around the IMGFS, I found some undocumented capabilities that can be used in building an app (in addition to the standard ones mentioned in the WMAppManifest.xml file).
These are the extra ones I found, in case anyone is interested (from BasePolicy.xml):
ID_CAP_RINGTONE_ADD:Allows ringtone-marketplace applications to read/write into the Ringtones directory
ID_CAP_MEDIALIB:Access to the media library - read, play-back, etc.
ID_CAP_INTEROPSERVICES:Temporary Interop Service Capability.. To be removed by feature team
ID_CAP_SIMrovides access to SIM manager API
ID_CAP_SMSrovides access to SMS API
ID_CAP_WAProvides access to WAP API
ID_CAP_IDENTITY_USER:Allow an application to use a phone.info.dll to retrieve user properties
ID_CAP_TESTPUBLIC1:Small public test capability
ID_CAP_LOADUNSIGNEDMANAGEDDLL:Capability to load unsigned managed dll into chamber's process space
ID_CAP_LOADUNSIGNEDNATIVEDLL:Capability to load unsigned native dll into chamber's process space
ID_CAP_DEBUG:Allow an application to run in debugging enviorment.
---Edit---
I've tested each of these individually, and some work, and others don't.
ID_CAP_INTEROPSERVICES works
ID_CAP_RINGTONE_ADD works
ID_CAP_MEDIALIB works
ID_CAP_IDENTITY_USER works
ID_CAP_TESTPUBLIC1 works
ID_CAP_SIM ID doesn't work
CAP_SMS doesn't work
ID_CAP_WAP doesn't work
ID_CAP_LOADUNSIGNEDNATIVEDLL doesn't work
ID_CAP_LOADUNSIGNEDMANAGEDDLL doesn't work.
Note that even for the ones that work, Microsoft may still reject them in the app store.
I tested these by entering them in the WMAppManifest.xml in the XAP, and loading them on a windows phone device. This guy suggests that if it loads on the device, you have the permission: http://www.drdobbs.com/windows/227701092 and I think he's right. If you don't have permission, it doesn't actually load, and in every case, if it loaded it ran.
ID_CAP_RINGTONE_ADD - So i guess with next update we will get Custom ringtones that can b installed from an app
off topic can some one create utility that will do something about tuch sensetive buttons, when using camera if u tuch any of then by accident it exit camera, so u have to hold phone very carefully.
also, app to lock screen rotation would be nice.... any of thous features undocumented anywhere
P.S sorry for unrelated message
I think the ID_CAP_RINGTONE_ADD feature will only be enabled for the carriers (who knows what Microsoft really has in mind, though). The Windows Phone has done a good job (or lousy job, compared to what I desire) managing permissions so they can choose what capability to give whom.
Disabling other buttons shouldn't be hard if you can get to the native API. So once the phone is jailbroken......
Actually, Microsofts own Q&A on Windows Phone 7 states to look in the Marketplace for additional ringtones. Here is an excerpt and a link:
To find a ringtone in Marketplace
1
On Start, tap the arrow to go to the App list, then tap Marketplace .
2
Press the Search button.
3
Do one of the following:
•
To browse a variety of ringtones, type ringtones, then tap Enter .
•
To look for a more particular type of ringtone, type something more specific, like Halloween ringtones.
Tip
To hear what a ringtone or alert sounds like, tap Play .
Note
Marketplace may not be available in your country or region.

To me that excerpt looks like you can download ringtones from the store, not that you can create an app to download ringtones. It would appear that Microsoft has an internal application that can add ringtones (which makes sense). These permissions are enforced by the OS, not the app store (maybe the app store does too). So if they want to be able to install ringtones, they need to give their own app permission to do so.

Visual Studio won't let you add all of them directly, but uncompress your .xap in the build directory, and add it manually.
If anyone is thinking of doing this, the phone rejected my attempts to do so. I tried to give myself ID_CAP_LOADUNSIGNEDNATIVEDLL, but it wouldn't even load on the phone. Oh well.

Ya, not only that, they probably automatically check to make sure you don't try to use them. The phone automatically checks, too.
The main reason I put them here is because I couldn't find them documented anywhere on the web, and I thought it would be good to save someone the time if they started down the same path I did.
hopefully once there is a jailbreak that turns of security/cert checking we can add these capabilities to our apps. Im particularly interested in the p/invoke capability.

So I set up VS 2010 and tried debugging an app that had a simple DLLImport in it and ID_CAP_INTEROPSERVICES in the manifest, however it still crashed with a MethodAccessException. It was def a valid dll and method name because I took it from one of the DLLImports in the system.location .net dll decompiled with Reflector.

Interesting. If your app installed, it means you were able to get the ID_CAP_INTEROPSERVICES permission, because if the phone rejects your permission, it rejects it at install time. Maybe the DLL path was wrong, like you need to do ..\DLLNAME.dll or something.

On the subject of Native Applications on Windows Phone 7:
A few days ago, an Application called "Network Profile" appeared in the Samsung Zone of my Omnia 7's Marketplace.
This app is the first external app that uses native code - The Marketplace says that it "Requires access to your interop services", and on opening the XAP on my PC, I found it to contain three native COM DLLs, alongside two .NET DLLs and a further native DLL with MUIs that appear to only serve to hold resources.
I'm not sure whether this can be linked to here, so I'm going to describe the interesting parts.
It has not one, but three XMLs - the typical WMAppManifest.xml (pastebin.com/uEJWdTuA), a WMAppPRHeader.xml (pastebin.com/AVcv7JUX) which seems to have something to do with PlayReady DRM, and most interestingly WMInteropManifest.xml (pastebin.com/NCVKP6kM).
There is also the AppManifest.xaml (pastebin.com/rRrB090h).
The NetworkProfile.dll has a number of COM Imports like so:
Code:
[ComImport, InterfaceType(ComInterfaceType.InterfaceIsIUnknown), Guid("F1113B13-AAB8-45E9-91A5-CBE568C29612")]
internal interface INwProfInterface
The Constructor for the class containing all the COM Interfaces:
Code:
ComBridge.RegisterComDll("NwProfDLL.dll", new Guid("4A2580BA-11A3-49AB-AC98-C30B5E72D381"));
this.NwInterface = (INwProfInterface) new CNwProfClass();
ComBridge.RegisterComDll("SecVersion.dll", new Guid("DFE52822-B526-4913-807A-D2AABC7BF911"));
this.SecVerInterface = (ISecVersionInterface) new SecVersionClass();
ComBridge.RegisterComDll("COMRilClient.dll", new Guid("A18F6B1A-924E-4787-AA82-19F98B49CF5D"));
this.SecRILControlInterface = (ISecRilControl) new COSecRilControl();
Happy to answer any questions, and if allowed, either guide people to getting it themselves, or providing a download link to the XAP.

a database updater (don't need to install again whenever updated),
a language selector/indicator (can filter using default language of the radio),
and probably a ontime filter/indicator OR malfunction feedback button (lots of radio station return error, probably due to ontime of the station/the link is just broken)
hmm, and probably a suggestion link sender ( To send link of radio station of my recommendation to developer -- most of the time we only know the website, but have no idea how to extract the streaming link)
Going to the more advance and fancy side, putting a Globe/Global map where we can zoom into and let us filter content by region.
Enable background streaming and playing .... we seldom just listen and do nothing else, and probably schedule streaming recording (some of the radio show that we wish to listen but the timing is no good for some people on others side of the globe/on work)
that's all i can thought of from first run, actually this run quite heavy on ram (eat 25MB of ram when running ... probably some fat trimming as well)

Channel list updater included in application.
We'll integrate language selector and suggestion link sender, thanx for good ideas.
Found a folder "WebApp" somwhere in bada FW...
This folder seems to contain elements of the GUI...
My idea...
Exchange the images with others... self made...
These Pics are there as real images... No IMG, No QMG... Real image format...
Has anybody tested this modification?
If this should work, this could be the next step forward for bada custom ROMs...
As I know, WebApp is the folder that contain Dolphin browser files. It is used when an web based application is launched. Maybe you should look here for user interface costimization.

Thanx.
I never understood for what WebApp is used...
In few tests I have removed this app, without any differences...
Now if I read it is used in combination with Dolfin Browser... so it is little bit more clear...
Maybe someone can post Screenshot... As we can see few Pics...
Maybe then function is better to identify...
Best Regards

These PNGs are for web app....check out SDK for a web app Sample
Web apps are like native apps in look but based on the web kit
Please do more research like this because it good for brain training
GUI tweaks are more than that...harder than that
I replaced a main menu icon in 10 minutes using hex editior but you have to have enough skills to use hex editior....I was just like you and learned from xda members
Best Regards
Well...
I also learned a lot from xda...
Well...
I think, it is a sense for perfection...
But basically the reference for the system should lead to these (or similar) graphics...
The question is, if they are also located at other places in system...
Okay...
How to check...
Maybe please example for livetest
Is WebAppLoader.exe now an relict or demo and can be removed?
Or ist it active and can be start from handset?
How?
Thanx.
Best Regards
NFC-AAAC or NFC Assisted App Access and Control
Pretext:
I have 2 children under the age of 3, all of their content (audio/video) is digital accessed. This created a disconnection for them, as they are not able to play /change the content unless my wife or I change it for them. I know there is an interest for them to be able to change the content themselves as when we have Netflix or Pandora open on the touch enables screens they are all was trying to pick the show/music they like. The few places where they do have a physical medium to play content,
The DVD player/CD player (note we have it backed up digitally), there is much interest with the “desk”. The kids would love nothing more to remove and replace it over and over. Watching this behavior over some time has lead me to believe that a simpler solution would/could be doable.
This brings me to NFC tags, with a few add-on programs the NFC tag can be scripted to perform most complicated input tasks.
Goal:
To provide access to complicated tasks via NFC.
To allow a person of limited physical input abalaty to use smart phone tech.
This can include, the disabled, the young, the old. To allow access to tasks/apps while driving or when attention is needed other places.
Current Scope:
Create tags for a radio station that can be quickly taped to change station/play album.
( Keeping the driver form looking at their phone while driving). Create tags that auto play Netflix/Amazon Prime/YouTube/Google +/etc videos.
This may include second screen casting Create tags to autolaunch/call via Skype/cell phones
Want to call grandma? Or have grandma get on Skype, etc. Create tags to attach to things around the house foods/shapes/flashcards etc.
When was this put in the fridge?
Send text to let people know the item is all gone etc.
What was this called.
Call support.
Where I'm at:
I'm currently gathering URIs / intents for the tasks described.
I will be using a combination of the “NFC task launcher” and “Tasker” to complete the tasks.
I will be following up with more detailed guide on how to set up functions/tasks.What I am looking for:
Help locating the URI / intents to call to complete tasks.
More tasks, Do have someone you know / you yourself finding something more complicated than it should be let me know and we can discuss how to fix.
Current URI list
Note Most if not all the URIs are undocumented aka may stop working, I will try to keep the list up-to-date. Please let me know if any stop working.

interesting ... how did you discover the uri to launch apps with arguments?
I also used a custom URI and NFC Task Launcher to launch my app "Badge NFC" and store custom data inside the app database (look at my signature to get a playstore link) ...

All of the custom URIs prefixes are in the apps manifest.
If I'm lucky I can simply type it into google and find someone else that's done the work, (to get the data argument)
If not I used JD-GUI to look over the source code to trace the Android Intent path and see what the app is looking for.
Another way is to see is if the app has a web app interface. Aka if I go to the web site or get a share link, does the app autolunch the content.
I was a little confused with your question, hope this answers it.
Thanks for the interest.

Yes sure, that's what I was asking ... Cool!
I'll search in some of my favourite apps manifests to see if I can find something interesting ...
