can any developer make a touchwiz rom for wildfire s without any htc sense
please dont ask these questions in the development section.
this should be shifted to the general section.
wrong section.
just install cm7 and apply a theme for touchwiz. voila
Altough questions are in the general section......let me answer yours..........
Touchwiz is something i dont like much(have used my brothers Galaxy Gio)......but porting it will take some tweaks here and there...but there wont be a direct port(trust me i've tried )

There are few new Sense 2.0(Desire HD, Sense HD, WIN) ROMs out, what's the best one in your humble opinion, internetz?
besides the new HD ones out right now (im using neo's hd rom) i would use neo's 7.6.1 rom or leodroid roms
first off: this does not belong in dev section!
second: the HTC Desire HD rom is actually pretty good when the EXT3 part is correctly set up and so forth. so i recommend that
2 off topic answers, great XDA, great!
Moved to Q&A as not development.
For some time now i've been testing other peoples roms such as the mindhaxor rom and everything works (pretty much) but now i'm on the CM7.2-RC1 Rom and can't seem to integrate this back into the rom,
any help is much appreciated.
Before any one says anything I'm sure that this is in the right area as it does equate to development of the android rom. or I could be wrong
As it's not a ROM or a DEVthread, this is HS.
this is development it's just a question related to development ...
the word question makes it not a development topic QUESTIONS go in the GENERAL forum kernels recoverys and roms go here

I just upgraded my Sensation to ONE X.. and YES there is a difference
i unlocked the phone but i have not rooted yet.. and i got a little confused why there are 2 development sections.
What is the difference between oneX and the original oneX
I noticed that after flashing new ROMs you have to flash the boot.img?! is that every time? i`m a little confused since everything was more straight forward with the sensation
Thanks
Since we don't have s-off for our hox, you have to flash boot.img manually every time you change ROMs or if instructed to do so by the rom dev.
As for why there are two different sections, there is an explanatory anouncement post by forum mods describing the two sections.
EDIT: I cant seem to find the anouncement. What it boiled down to is, for a rom/kernel/mod to be included in the original android dev section, it must be original work or add something innovative to an already existing rom. Simple additions or tweak of an already existing one does not qualify a rom to be included in the original section.

Yeah,
Basically "Original" is built from the ground up by the member who posted it
The "Android Development" is a developed version of an existing ROM?
nice, now i understand. So basically if i choose a AOSP or AOKP (which right now from what i read have lot's of issues) i go with the original thread.
It's a shame we do not have S-Off. i don't want to be stuck on Sense but from the looks of it, i might not have a choice (buggy AOSP)

All the AOSP/AOKP/CM10 ROMs are usable as daily drivers, none of them are buggy...
Yes, before you say "another one of these threads". I've tried searching through the forums, and I've tried a quite some roms.
I am asking for help finding a:
1. STABLE.
2. VERY FAST.
3. STRIPPED / NO EXTRAS.
4. WITH TOUCHWIZ
If somebody can help me find a rom for the i747 that has that, I would be very grateful.. Also, can you SKIN a rom with touchwiz?

Here's a few that seem popular and from what i know a rom would need the samsung framework to incorporate touchwiz.

There are a couple Touchwiz themes, but not many. I'm probably generalizing too much here, but I think most people who come here to XDA want something other then Touchwiz, so your theme selection may not be very high
Check out the Theme's and Apps subforum. I know I remember seeing a couple TW themes there.
By the way... This is a question, and probably should have been in the Q&A forum

Second: All TW ROMs are stable and the OP lists all the features. Battery life depends on your use, no one elses.
This is why these are closed.
Will someone please port multi rom for our Gnex. With so many talented Devs I cant see why no one has done so already
