[Q] could sprint Galaxy S II be unlocked to tmobile?? - Samsung Epic 4G Touch

Hey guys:
Just got a sprint Galaxy S II from my friend but I am using tmobile. Take out the battery and find out a sim card slot. Kinda thinking if this one can be unlocked to tmobile. Thanks for all your time.

Wrong place, but if the sprint phone you are talking about the Epic 4G touch, no that will not work on Tmobile. It will not work with GSM network.

thats a micro-sd card slot NOT a sim-card slot

Da fu*k?

No it will not work

[Q] Epic 4g Touch has GSM?

Sorry if i`m posting in the wrong place. but here is my doubt?
Why some websites and on ebay sellers say that Epic Touch has gsm technology and a lot of reviews say the it doesn`t have it.
Most of the ebay sellers write in thir adds GSM 850,900,1900..
and UMTS 900,1900,2100.
It`s not just one seller saying it!!! A lot of sellers says the it`s a GSM phone. In truth, I just found only one add on ebay saying it just a CDMA phone.
I`m getting crazy about all the different informations on the internet.
Are there TWO VERSIONS of Epic? one CDMA/GSM e another one just CDMA?
Thanks for the patience. I`m in love with this phone but I only can buy it were a GSM phone.
CDMA only. Perhaps some of the sellers are thinking the SD card slot is actually a SIM card slot?

Theirs isn't called the epic 4g touch. ATT is the skyrocket and and T-Mobile is called the Hercules. Sprint is the only carrier calling it the epic 4g touch, therefore it is CDMA only (unless ebay is selling the other carrier's versions and using the wrong name).
If you can only buy a GSM, get the galaxy note

Correct but ATT has 2 galaxy's. The Galaxy S II and Galaxy S II Skyrocket
Edit: oh and I'm guessing they have 2 because if you get the skyrocket and have unlimited data, att makes u change your plan to $45 a month for your data

Nexus one to galaxy nexus import

I was wondering if anyone could explain this. I imported a galaxy nexus gsm. I took my tmobile sim card from my nexus one and it works fine. But I'm not able to get HSPA+ (4g)? The person I share my minutes with has a samsung side kick and can get 4g. Is it my sim card? or is it tmobile just doesn't know what my device is and I need to spend 2 hours on the phone with support?
New sim card should fix it

Verizon Nexus have a sim card slot?

Just curious if the Verizon one has a sim card slot? And if so, can it be unlocked and be used on like T-Mobile?
Has a sim card for LTE. Has no 3G GSM radio

It cannot ever be unlocked to be used on GSM it doesn't have the radio.
It's not compatible.
Verizon LTE gn does have a 3g radio but not compatible with networks outside of Verizon.

Does anyone know by chace if the SIM slot on the Verizon version is compatible with the GSM version? 2 pins are broken in my GSM version, so it will no longer read my SIM. Could I buy/get the part from the Verizon version and put it in the GSM one? (Just the SIM dock, not the whole board obviously.)
thanks.
good question. I remember I used to have a Blackberry storm from Verizon that had a sim card slot enabling me to use it with T-Mobile.

Its because that was locked to using the SIM for world roaming.

[Q] Which Straight Talk SIM card ?

I just bought an unlocked Samsung Galaxy Note II.
I wonder which Straight Talk SIM card I should order? Unlocked GSM or AT&T Compatible or T-Mobile Compatible?
Thank you for your help,
Tom
If the Galaxy Note II only compatible w a micro sim cards then the only smart talk service available on micro sim is ATT.....but I think smart talk is releasing the micro sim for Tmobile on November 1st.

How to switch sprint Samsung galaxy s2

Cam somone pkz help me.. I bought the phone not knowing it didnt have sim card disposable
This is the Epic 4G forum not the Epic 4G Touch. I will move this to the correct Q&A forum.
You should note that CDMA phones do not use SIMs like GSM...later CDMA phones use SIMs for 4G LTE access...not the same as swapping GSM SIMs from phone to phone.
