Seriously, I will start collecting donations right now. So many of us need somthing to fix the bluetooth call clarity. I heard you have one but have not tested it enough etc...
How much $$$ or what will it take to get this from you????
Please Please respond helmi.
Just looking for a response from Helmi. If this wasnt such a problem for me I wouldnt be bumping this back to the top. Thanks for understanding everyone, Fish
take a look on the forum , and you will see that helmi_c has a lot of exam this week, he should be back on Friday so be patient
Is this something like my desperate postings and findings?
A re-development from the Hermes Widcomm release??
Would love if Helmi releases a working one for us. I'm in need of a better BT stack. Hate M$ stack!

Will this really enhance BT stack?
Could you pls write few words about what additional advantage we'll have from Widcomm/Boardcom stack? If there is a significant enhancement then surely we will all run for the same topic...

Read my thread in Accessories. It has linked threads about development etc.
THe Widcomm BT is very different, in my opinion. The features, quality and over all performance is way way higher than the crap MS one.
Noone can port widcomm BT stack to uni without having source code of several drivers. Otherwize you would not get BT headset/handsfree support.

well, maybe thats mean the developer hv done a lot of study with source code of several drivers and some more mod on it... mamaich didn't say its impossible, but its not an easy job... and as always, never hv doubt with mamaich...
btw I'll post Broadcomm 1.7.6.0500 for universal in sort time... Hopes it'll end up good... I've manage the headset/handsfree stuff now everything is route to handsfree... still testing...
In theory it should also work with HTC APACHE (6700).. I dont know and cant be sure..
oh my oh my, I knew Helmi had a surprise for the community............
Has a working broadcom stack on the universal for hands free = perfect.
All I use is the hands free for phone calls, I have never and will never use the universal as an MP3 for music so what you say you have already working is
PERFECT!!! for me, how much do you want to email it to me? I can paypal you. FISH

BTW, will BT DUN / BT PAN Internet Sharing work (see http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=288561 )? Could you look into the problem?
(BTW, I'm just writing a generic article on all these hacks.)

Hi there, title says all, what is the current state of Bluetooth development on kaiser?
As long as I remember there is no developement for Kaiser BT.
When dzo made BT work for Vogues he said that it is not so difficult to do it for Kaiser, just the appropriate GPIOs and i2c have to be get and changed in kernel but nobody from us has that knowledge to work with Haret and detect the addresses for BT.
If we ask politely dzo maybe he will get the addrs and set up the kernel for us.
I believe we have lost all of our hard-core dedicated developers to other phones

Once things settle down with the wife (and soon to be baby #3) I'll see what I can do. I have been up to this point attempting to stay away from the kernel.... oh well
well there is no rush. bluetooth isnt really that important for most of us flashers..camera..and voicetalk is wat i want

You are right, but the kernel developers are really low numbered.
I have also bought new phone, but still have my Kaiser and trying to help with what I can.
Maybe it is not to hard for porting if we know what kind of BT chip is on Kaiser.I beleave that HTC use same BT chip on several phones

as much as my wife tells me I look like an ass with the bluetooth headset in my ear. I use it all the time, at home, work, and especially in the car.
not sure if there is a work around. but until there is bluetooth I can't go nand.
which really sucks because I am beginning to hate haret.
I wish I were smarter I would like to help.
BTW the camera sucks anyway. definitely not a big deal.
Well tbh camera seems easier at this point, since it does work in donut at least, however bluetooth does not work in anything other than native android devices at present, if there were a breakthrough in bluetooth in another device then there would be more hope, but at present, if you don't have an android phone, you don't have bluetooth.
In the last 4 moths I have seen android on kaiser go from an ugly mess of hacks and patches, to an almost complete mobile OS, one step at a time, I suspect bluetooth will be the very last thing to get fixed.
BT works on Android ports for RAPH/DIAM and kind of on Vogue. We all have the same chip, there is more hope than you describe. Come hang out in #htc-linux on freenode if you want to give it a try for Kaiser.

Reread my post, guess it did come across a little negative, lol, I only meant that the relative amount of work involved was greater for bluetooth, and I expect it to take longer than camera to get it to a stable stage in it's evolution.
Bt works on Diam100? Damn I shoulda kept hold of mine instead of loaning it to my daughters BF after his g600 took a bath in the washing machine
I'd love to hang more in #htc-linux, but I'm really not a dev, just a guy with a little *nix knowlege
Ive got a really good news for You

anyone tried the new git changes?
These devs are relentless! Well done, and looking forward to testing! If anyone wants to PM test kernels/NBHs my way, I'll provide full test reports

Panel type 2, Tilt, 240x320, for Eclair. Many thanks!
Update!
Great news everyone ;-)
Dzo has made huge progress of getting BT work on Kaiser.
Now, we can successfully activate BT and pair with devices i.e. nokia E51.
To BT hunters, It would be nice to donate him, if you didn't do already
Thanks to him, we might have finally usable BT on Kaisers.
Pavel
ps. if anyone wants, i can upload nbhs and zImage etc ... when i wake up

Hi there,
I think many people heard of overclocking in android for vogue devices, or raphael, TP2, or other devices.
Now, you might want that on windows mobile too.
Because of my lack of knowledge in windows mobile stuff, we can't overclock as much as possible on android, still, you can get up to 615MHz.
Also, putting phone to sleep/screen off might disable overclock, and you have to run the script back.
So here it is, it's a simple haret script, I made a zip archive which contains both the needed startup.txt and haret.exe, you juste have to launch haret.exe, and then close it (the values stays after closing haret's window)
Wow, that's incredible that you've done this! Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to work on my device. I'm guessing it's because the Tilt2 (RHOD300) has an MSM7201A processor instead of the MSM7200A used in the RHOD100. The device doesn't seem faster, and NueClockControl still displays the clock speed as 528MHz, so I'm guessing it isn't working on my device. Still, this is great work you've done!

I haven't tested it much yet as I'm most on the time on android.
Anyway, I think that most (all ?) application won't give the correct result, and any dynamic frequency stuff would kill this overclocking.
I'll have to discuss with NueClockControl tool to do it correctly, and perhaps to full extent overclocking.
Wow!
I´ll test it and report back
Is there any special procedure to install?
oh man this is tempting, makes me wanna love the TP2 more than my TP please let us know if you can manage to make it work for the Tilt 2 because the 625mhz would really help with the Sense 2.5 performance i just hope it wont destroy the battery or even more worse

I have TP2 (RHOD100) and I'm reading 5128 in NueClock before and after as well.
i understand that you have to run haret.exe first and then close i but on the top box it says default.txt and i press run and it says it cannot be found but then i changed it to STARTUP.txt and i click run and nothing happened....i closed out the haret window and tested it and i dont feel any difference, is it supposed to be on the storage card or the device memory?

sry i had to bump this thread, i just really wanna know, would be epic to overclock my Tilt 2
+1 Bump!
Would be great to have an over clocking tool working for Rhodium!!!
There must be a way!
ugg. sad to report that I got nothing out of this file. I wanted this to work but I guess no luck. hoping someone will create something that works.
is development for this still ongoing? or has it been discontinued
Now see, this is why I love this damn forum soo much. Bring it on buddy. I got my Tilt2 overclocked to 787MHz in Android already. Now i need WM overclocking. this is exactly why i be recommending this site to everyone. People with Great ideas and actually putting them to work. I will keep a close eye on this thread for sure. I was wondering about this also, but u beat me to the punch , posting. dont count Rhodium out yet, although we dont have Snap da Magic Dragon Processors, We have persistence and great ideas/implimentations on our side. Tilt 2 rocks, bottom line. I hate seeing people post downing it. This is the best device ive had yet. The last Great one was my Kaiser/Tilt. WHich i have 2 of. Gave one to my mom and one to my dad. even without service , these devices are very useable. Especially if u know how to tether or share internet connections. My pops uses his Sprint phone bluetooth to share internet connection to the Tilt i gave him. Now it neva leaves his side. lol His sprint phone cant compare to the Tilt, as far as internet browsing and functionality. srry if i got off topic. Im just really glad to see this thread.
I have been waiting for an Overclock since the TP2 came out...Someone??!?! Anyone!!!?!?!!??
will this work on the rhod 210? tmous version?
i cant get an answer in the 3d forums so i will try here. wiimote does not work with the new 3d due to the new sense and or bluetooth. my question is can i use any bluetooth controller with my 3d as long it is bluetooth 3.0 or am i going to have to wait until it is rooted and only use wiimote? i am not fond of the wii controller so i am hoping i can use something else for my emulators and games.
Well considering this isn't an Evo 3d forum, we can't help you.

well considering you are a jackass, go screw yourself. 3d forum or not, someone with tech knowledge can answer and help. you obviously cant, so stfu and get off my thread.
you are a prime example of what has become a problem on xda in general, spitting out helpless and jackass comments on people's posts instead of trying to assist anyone. people like you bring a bad name to xda, luckily the good helpful people out number the negative people on here like yourself so far.

From the evo, it would only work on a rooted phone that was running an aosp rom. Wiimote controller is the app...idk if it will work for other though.

Well, what makes the wii controller not work with sense? What do they need to change in order to make it work for the Evo phones altogether? What isn't working? I have tried to get it to work too. but I just didn't spend enough time researching it.
Piss off you retards. I was simply telling him there isn't much we can help him with here, as this isn't a forum for that phone. That would be like me asking a question about my Mustang in a Camero forum. It doesn't make any sense.
And he continues to prove the point. Bravo
Apple sucks ballz
The Evo3D and Evo are about the same phones and run off about the same software. I have confirmed that you need a AOSP ROM to make it work... But still attempting to find out more and why's.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RrR68FR7Xu8
HOWEVER, the biggest thing is you don't want to start installing different roms onto your phone. then again, you can't anyway as we haven't figured out how to root your phone. lol.
But I bet you'd end up not getting the 3D part as most developers wouldn't have a clue on how to program that as of this time. 3D software is still new at the second.
I personally would give up on trying to make it work. That's what I did. I personally can flash my phone. but why on earth would I install a AOSP ROM? I like what I have.
Oh I'm not worried about 3d stuff. I just want a contoller to work wirh my emulators like n64oid, snesoid, gensoid etc...
Apple sucks ballz
then why on earth did you buy an evo 3d? and I thought we couldn't root those yet? can only do it on a rooted phone.
Well that answers my question then. I thought there might be a controller that would work without root is all. Thank you for your help guys
Apple sucks ballz
Has anyone ever used CDMA workshop before? I have downloaed but not messed with it yet, but from what I have seen I am guessing it may allow you to I dont know, convert GSM ROMs to CDMA..... I am merely speculating on this clearly I need to read into it but there doesnt seem to be a great deal of info on this software. If anyone has used it and or knows anything on it mind explaining it to me and for everyone else that comes across this thread? Thank you in advance.

CDMA Workshop, oh man. I've used that software to get a Helio Ocean phone to work and get activated with Verizon.
Now sure if they've added new features to the software, but I just remember it required you to connect to a COM port (have fun finding drivers for that!) so you could do things like read lock codes, find SPC/MSL codes, write new ESNs, and write new roaming lists.
Its been a while since I've seen anything about CDMA Workshop
This thread might help.
