I noticed since i updated to b29, that i dont have the option to type whatever i want to display on the lockscreen under under the date. I use to have my name, address and email and phone number scroll across the screen. Now i cant find the option to do that with b29. Does anyone know if there is still the option for that? i cant find it in rom control anywhere?????
I'm not running AOKP but on stock it's in settings > security > Owner info.
Thanks!!!!!! forgot where it was!

Hey guys,
i want to edit the quick settings in the notification bar. I don't want to flash anything, i want to edit it by myself, so i can put in the stuff i want.
can somebody tell me, witch things i have to edit and where i find them. Or is this too complicated?
(I'm using 2.13 jikantaruROM - Android 1.3.5)
You can only if you create a rom with the desired features in it, then you can also add the quick settings to power menu.
If you install CM7, you can have a quick settings bar at the top.
I'm still s-on and use widgets for this. Go Launcher with the Go widget works great!
Hello together,
i am using an my HTC Desire an Android 4.1.2 Mod called [11-9][4.1.2][JB:CM10A] PARANOIDANDROID [2.54] & PACman [15.1][JB:CM+PA+AOKP:AiO] and like it very much.
There are at least some problems but thats not my intesion for this thread.
here my question: How can i configure phone settings like send/hide my number or set general settings. In Android 4.1.2 standard there is a menu at settings/call or callsettings but not at this mod.
Can somebody help me?
You can change your number by going into your dialer - settings - additional settings
I wasn't sure whether to post this under the ROM thread or start a new post as this question spans a few ROMs I think?
Up until yesterday I was using a modified version of alirez_sos's Sabsa Prime ROM (thanks for this). I like Sense 4.1 but the performance was getting me down as my wife has just got a HTC One SV and I was considering whether the DHD was really up for replacement... Anyway I installed the Unofficial CyanogenMod 10.1 ROM by Mustaavalkosta and I was pleasantly surprised So a big thank you to Mustaavalkosta for the ROM.
I am an Orange UK customer and we recently moved over to EE.
Anyway I have been playing around and tailoring the ROM to be just how I want it and have hit an issue with the APN settings. With the Sabsa Prime ROM the APN settings in the 'framework-res.apk' are up to date with settings for EE. I updated the 'apns.xml' file in /res/xml to remove the read-only status for each setting and rebuilt the 'framework-res.apk' but didn't change anything else. When I wiped and installed the CyanogenMod ROM my APN settings have been set to 'Orange UK' & 'Orange UK MMS' instead of 'EE'. I have dumped the 'framework-res.apk' but the 'apns.xml' is empty.
If I edit the settings manually they disappear and it takes a bit of time getting them back in and with me resetting my phone on a regular basis I was hoping to get these settings fixed in the ROM.
Where should I be looking for these settings?
Cheers
Andy
Sorry - worked it out after a bit more searching...
/system/etc/apns-conf.xml
Even easier with CyanogenMod - no need to recompile the framework-res.apk
Now just need to fix WiFi Tethering....

Hello everyone.
I am using a CM11 version on my mobile. (E980 Beanstalk 4.4.4065)
The problem is that I can not live without the Hidden Menu, need to be changing the bands where I live because the internet is unstable.
I wonder how do I install the Hidden Menu on any android ROM, preferably in CM11.
Days will'm looking for a tutorial to teach me and I do not think ...
Please someone tell me how to do.
Thank you ^^
no one knows ?
There's an app called hidden menu in the play store. Most custom roms have an option under settings -- Wireless Networks -- preferred network type. That should do what you need.
Also try... *#*#4636#*#*
Hi,
I have a HTC One M8 with custom rom named "[ROM] Android Revolution HD 53.1 | ART | High Quality & Performance | 6.12.401.4_R".

But I had the same problem with default rom before.
I want to use only a custom lockscreen application (named "Lock Master"), but when I receive a notification like "sms, cm security, etc ..." the default marshmallow lockscreen comes after "Lock Master" to display them. Or when I am doing something on my phone, so not lock, the default marshmallow lockscreen comes also to display me this.

How can I disable it (the fact that all notifications come on the default marshmallow lockscreen) ? Because if I use an other lockscreen, it is to never see anymore the default one. But I still want to see my notifications on my notification bar, even if I use "NotifierPro Heads-up" to display me a cute custom slide bar.

I already go in "Settings -> Security -> Screen Lock", and set it to "None" to completely bypass the lockscreen, but even if I don't see it anymore when I lock my phone, it come again if I receive a notification. And in "Settings -> Security", I can't "Clear Credentials" because it is already grey.
Very cordially.
