What happened to it? I paid the $5 a couple of weeks ago and loved playing with the emulator. I wiped my phone and started with a clean slate and a new rom. I went to go redowload the app and its no longer in the market. I'm not sure if this is allowed, but if someone could post the apk to n64oid if you have it, that would be great!

The reason why the n64 emulator is not on the market is because the developer of the emulator took it off the market because he didn't want any bad ratings

i believe it will be back up in about 2 months.
but he is doing fixes to it so its not a buggy beta.
(prays CM7 team doesn't do that)
I do have the apk but i believe under XDA rules we cant share it because if i believe the term is right Warez?
Aww man, I didn't find anything wrong with it. I didn't know if you were allowed to PM me the apk since I have bought it in the past? If not, are you still able to look up the developers email address?
Sent from my SPH-D700 using XDA App
I don't recommend you even ask someone to PM you the .apk, since it could still be considered requesting wares which would earn you an infraction.
Also, if you already bought the app I suggest you try contacting the developer and try to work something out.
Is it still warez if I have bought it?
*edit* I don't mind contacting the developer, but I can't even do that since I don't have his email and its not listed in the market...

i know it sucks when losing a app you paid for.
do you happen to have the "shoot me " app for a screen shot of your market? may help sending it to him to show you paid?
I will hit the thanks button when I have access to a computer
It doesn't even show in my apps I bought section of the android market, so I can't take a screen capture. Only way to prove is to show a screen shot of my bank account. But even then, I don't think it shoes which app I bought

I believe someone who was distributing modified version s if widget locker on xda wanted to see something before hw sent u the apk

Any idea how? I'm looking through my orders on the Android Market website, and it's not showing up - I presume because the app is no longer on the market. I can't find a section on the site to show billing history or something of that nature.

Nevermind, I found out how. You don't actually look for it using the Android market, you have to go to www.checkout.google.com to look up your billing history. Anyway, here's my proof in case any doubts were raised

Just got this reply from the developer. Great guy!
A great number of users are complaining about the compatibility and running performance. Considering the bad ratings, I temporarily unpublished N64oid. I am doing a rewrite of some of the core modules. Don't worry, N64oid will be back much better in a month. And of course you won't have to pay for it again.
Attached is the apk file.
Thanks for the understanding! I won't let people down.

I have an app called mini diary and i decided to make a daily diary entry on my phone to practoce typing on it.
The problem is that there is a 1000 character limit. This sucks cause well i like writing diary entries the size of small essays so it takes 2-3 entries just to write what i want to.
Can some one modify the app to get rid of the character limit or atleast in crease it to atleast 2500

Have you tried emailing the developer?
Sent from my SPH-M900 using Tapatalk
I've had hands-on experience on C++, I'm sure Java doesn't differ too much. However, I don't have a laptop snappy enough to handle the android sdk & eclipse software, also, unless decompiling the apk puts it back to full source code, to my knowledge, it isn't as simple as an xml edit, HOWEVER it doesn't make much more difficult either, you just search through the code for the proper class that contains such information in limit, or perhaps another terminology used by its creator/dev and once found, you change its values to meet your needs, and then recompile. This however should be emailed to the dev, and if its something you want to tackle for yourself, (which anyone can for this type of edit)legally speaking, you should contact the dev for permission to make such modifications to his/her app, (unless his work is opensource then you're ok) otherwise, he's protected by any type of reverse engineering, aka decompiling.
I think the dev is sammy

I just have a couple of dumb questions.
Do the motions being active consume battery?
Do I have to engage anything before tapping my screen to send a file to another phone? (or is having that check box enabled1 enough?) also is the Galaxys3 the only phone compatible with that feature?
The commercial where the guy just swoops a document from his phone to the tv... What's the process for that and I imagine it only works with certain tvs after an annoying registration /setup process.
Are they working on improving svoice or is that not a huge priority
Is there a voice dialer like on froyo that doesn't require the internet to do phone functions? I don't like relying on 3g.
I'm sure I'll think of more, but I apologize if this is in the wrong thread. Please just let me know and I'll copy paste to the right one.

You have to turn on NFC and s beam then go to gallery or something to the file you want then put the phone back to back and then then phone will say touch screen to beam
You can get Google now with the offline pack. Its in the themed and app section
We don't really know what Samsung's priority are. With Google now out we can only hope Samsung trys to stepup their game

Yeah no **** lol. Guess open source don't mean much. Adfree was one of the main reasons I root in the 1st place. I've got a backup anyway. I wonder if they can still support the app but just not through Google.

Ad free apps will always be out there. They just wont be on the market. We all know how to sideload
Speaking of side loading, anyone have a copy if ad away they're willing to share? Or even better, can someone guide me on how to pull it from wherever it installs, copy to my SD card so I can install it from there on ROM swaps?

This shouldn't really bother anyone. AdFree was for root users and if you know how to root there is a very good chance you will always know where to find the apk.. Now when they prevent me from loading it on my phone it'll be a problem.

Now I just read that Google is killing off their rss reader service. That blows. Not sure how that's gonna affect most people, but I use it several times a day. I use greader pro, but it uses Google reader services for pulling in all my feeds. Time to look for alternatives.

So long as Google doesn't take active measures in the future to prohibit ad blocking...and doesn't take measures against users who use adblocking

This news REALLY pisses me off.
gReader is the only way I can keep up with Android Police, Android Authority, and a few other news sites. gReader being killed off is only slighly more annoying to me than Google killing off iGoogle.
I dont even use ad blockers, I just have a modded host file that blocks all that crap anyway I add the host file to every rom I flash.

Most Android adblockers modify the hosts file to do the adblocking.
Sounds like the world is ending in here...
It's really not that big of a deal >.>
Android is open. The store is not. You can do whatever with Android, you just wont be getting it from their store. I don't know why everyone is so upset.
Considering that hosts blocking only works if you have root, I really don't see how this is a problem. If you can root your phone, you can install third-party apks without an issue.
Still, a *****ly move, but Google does make all of their profits selling ads. It is probably AdBlock that killed the fun, since it semi-worked (WiFi only) for non-root users.

Call me a Devil's Advocate here, but what's the big freaking deal with ads in apps????? I mean, I do hate the ones that get pushed as fake notifications with some of the crapware you can get on the market, but I don't consider the regular ones obtrusive... And let's remember, ad revenue is the bread and butter for Google, and a lot of the developers who offer their apps for free...
here's the link for ad-away. i prefer this one since you can customize your lists easily.
http://code.google.com/p/ad-away/
I must have been under a rock (or refreshing the Macks Rom thread too often ) but I just realized that the copy of AdFree I've had installed forever was no longer functioning.
so ive been tinkering and messing around with my s4 and I must say,I absolutely love this phone! I couldnt ask for anything more. However, there is a slight tiny little detail that ive noticed that I wish samsung would fix/improve or perhaps maybe an app developer could modify, and that is the "gallery app"
I dunno why this hasnt been done before. I would have figured someone out there would have done this by now, I know it can be done. Its just the matter of doing it (im sure its hard work though), and im no developer or modder. Trust me if I was one, i would have done this by now.
Anyway, back to the gallery app, and I absolutely love it. I love the fact that you can edit/crop, add effects, filters, draw, etc. without having to download any additional 3rd party apps. You can do everything all within the gallery app. BUT, you cant add "text/captions" to any of the photos??? That is my only complaint however, I wouldnt say complaint... I look at it more as a tiny hiccup.
It doesnt really bother me, but I really do wish that you could have the ability to add text/captions to pictures. So now, I have a seperate photo editing app, just for adding captions. I do all my editing and filtering on my gallery app then I gotta open the other app just to add text/captions... *sigh*
Im kinda hoping that maybe an app developer or modder see's this post and gets the bright idea to incorporate and add that feature inside the gallery app... haha
Thats just my two cents, thanks for reading
