[Q] AOKP and Rom Manager - Samsung Galaxy Nexus

Hi,
is there a way to get AOKP 'nighlty' with RomManager ?
All i see is the mill. 4 version.
nb: RM premium

That's because they don't have the nightlies listed. Only official cm9 nightlies as far as I can tell.

ok, thanks you.

Use the GooManager app if you want to download AOKP's nightlies, or any other ROMs for the phone for that matter. It'll notify you of updates to your ROM as well.

Milestone builds just reference to the "Super Stable Bug-free" builds.
They aren't necessarily for any particular device nor are they tablet version.
Gapps are listed at the bottom of the page where you downloaded the rom.
I'm not sure about baseband...(I'm a CDMA guy) but I'd assume it can be flashed after rom, yes.
Francos app has a link to his kernel, yes.

[ROM] AOKP Milestone 5 *UNOFFICIAL* [4/29/2012]

This is an UNOFFICIAL BUILD! AOKP is now making official builds, so please check those out. This is likely my last build since teamkang will be making official builds. Check out http://rootzwiki.com/topic/24350-aokp-toroplus-april-28-milestone-5-404/ for more information on official AOKP builds!
This is my first attempt at a ROM build, I take no credit, I just built it. The usual disclaimers apply, not responsible for bricked devices, lost data, house on fire, etc. FLASH AT YOUR OWN RISK!!
AOKP For Sprint Galaxy Nexus
I'm a big fan of AOKP so I decided to build this for the Sprint version of the Galaxy Nexus. It is a build straight from the AOKP git repo using BRD's/EOS vendor and device tree.
For more information about AOKP and its features, visit the AOKP site at: http://forum.aokp.co/page/news
I have not fully tested this but everything appears to be working. I have *not* tested MMS so I cannot confirm or deny that it works.
This was a rushed build, I still need to clean up my source tree as I kind of made a mess. Again, I'm trying to learn how to do this stuff. Any feedback would be appreciated!

Awesome - I have been eagerly awaiting an AOKP build. Thanks! Downloading now - does this require a clean flash or can I flash it on top of the CM9 Rom I am on now?
Cm9 is a AOSP and this is obviously AOKP .. full wipe always ..

Any bugs on this so far?

Official CM10 nightlies are here!!

http://get.cm/?device=d2att
Huge thanks to Cyanogen and the rest of the CM team for bringing us JB so quickly!
I've bounced between CM9 nightlies and CM10 previews and CM10 is just as stable (if not more so) then CM9. CM10 is still lacking feature completeness especially with regards to the CM enhancements but its getting there.
Now with official nightlies us flash junkies can get our fixes.

I just saw this too and I am downloading it now to flash it. I have been on the CM9 nightlies for about a week and love it. I have tried a few other TW ROM's but I just keep going back to CM9. Thanks again Cyanogen!!
I got an error when flashing with ROM Manager.. Setup wiz FCs and I have to boot into recovery and load up a rom on the sd card. IDK..
Getting error when flashing fron recovery ...assert/get prop error ..instalation aborted..

Does anyone know the proper way to flash these nightlies? Ie... do you have to reinstall gapps every time like the preview builds?

Yes. Gapps has to be flashed every time you update to a new release. Cm team and Google came to an agreement that gapps with not be included in any of their releases due to licensing. So they will never be included.
Does anyone else have an issue waking up the device with the physical home button? Sometimes it takes me 3 or 4 times pressing it to wake it up.

Make sure you have the very latest version of cwm. I have seen that offered as a solution in other threads. If that doesn't work try twrp. It can be installed easily from the goo manager app available from the play store. The CM team seems to prefer cwm but in my expierence twrp has been much more stable.

I flashed with TWRP and it installed fine.
I was having a issue with GMail screen flickering but after I wiped my cache and Davlik it fixed that problem.
Is anyone having an issue with Google Now saying there is no internet connection? Fixed - Just had to reinstall ROM
For those who gets status 7 error, or build prop or whatever, it is usually the recovery. You'll need a D2ATT recovery, such as this http://www.datafilehost.com/download-fed9a267.html
Once you have that recovery installed, wipe data/cache and install CM10 + gapps = profit.
I wonder when they will change the boot animation from cm 9 to say cm10??

This has been a known issue in the starting with the last few preview builds. I guess they haven't addressed it yet.

Thanks for the link. I really like this one. Make sure you download the 720x1280 file or it will not fill the entire screen

Doesnt it depend on wether you do a dirty flash or not? I havent flashed gapps since the 8/08 build and everything is working fine so far
Hmm, any news on a final release of cm9? According to cyanogen, the att s III was planned to make it in. I'd rather have a super stable nostalgic cm9 to fall back on if things go array on the bleeding edge (cm10).

Is any body else having problems with GPS navigation? It was almost a mile before it refreshed my position, had to restore backup on the road.
Why is the official cm10 thread (in original development) still showing 8/14 build as the latest if there's a 8/18 build on the cm site?

Update AOKP D2MTO JB MR1 Build 3 Through Goo Manager

Hey guys,
I am just wondering if I am safe to upgrade to AOKP D2TMO_JB_MR_1_build-3 using Goo Manager. I know I can brick this thing by choosing the wrong OS so I just want to be doubly sure. Thanks
Put this is the Q&A thread bro

If it states d2tmo and is officially from their Goo.im then yes.

Pacman ROM

Hi guys,
Can you guys give me a direct link to downloading the latest version of pacman rom for the galaxy nexus on android 4.3? Thanks

As you requested, this is the latest available nightly on BasketBuild. Nightlies aren't stable (especially for PACman) so actually you shouldn't want them at all.
And you have hours of patience waiting for a spoon-fed answer but don't have the 10-minute patience searching for the links in the Dev subforum? Come on man, this is XDA - help yourself next time

1) You have a custom recovery (CWM, TWRP), right? Stock recovery doesn't flash custom ROMs.
2) What error does it give? Details needed.

And to add to that, make a back up in cwm/twrp, then wipe, then flash rom+gapps. The latest nightly of pacman was uploaded to the pacman site last night and appears to be running really well compared to the 10/7 release. It is also android 4.3.1
It tries to flash the rom then it just stops in the first half second of the flash and says error.
