Is there a way to make it where when you search it automatically only shows epic touch results? Or even better, that you can only see epic touch threads on here?
For that I would say use your browser instead of tapatalk or xda app. Although you might try putting epic touch as a key word in your searches in the apps

Ok, I asked because I was trying to find the cm7 thread and searching for it was almost useless with all the different phone results. I am on a browser btw.

Yea cm7 is not here. But usually when need to search I google something like "ics for epic touch xda". XDA being the important part. It always renders results from here

Now I see why I couldn't find CM7 haha. This was the only site I checked because I thought everything was here. Thank you for getting me in the right direction.
Using google is easier, but I would think the search on here would be better. Everyone makes it sound so easy when they post the infamous "use the search button" haha.

I've used both ROMs and they're awesome, stable, and fast. Beyond a few differences, though, nothing really different sticks out to me except that Fresh doesn't use the Sense launcher.

Sprint Lovers
For the most part both are quick and work fairly seamlessly. I prefer Sprint Lovers personally but that's me. I think as a whole it works smoother, but that's an aesthetic thing. Both give you what you want out of a custom rom, wifi tethering and all that. Fresh has issues with clockworkmod recovery though, need AmonRA in order to use properly. Personally this irritates me but I don't really see it as a problem. The one nice thing I found in Fresh that came with it automatically was the file manager it provides however all you need is ASTRO with Sprint Lovers and you're good to go. Fresh is more customizable for the average user I suppose but if you are comfortable with adb and SDK then you should be able to customize on your own anyway (look into themeing and how it's done properly before you attempt to do anything and by all means don't mess with .9 files unless you have an understanding of how they work) Other than these issues I didn't find any major differences but have my preference as you can tell. Try some others out too though, some people like Cyanogen's stuff. Good luck.

When a FIRST POST goes RIGHT INTO the wrong thread. lol. wow! worst of all, the guy didn't even READ ONE PINNED THREAD. however, asking him/her to search is stupid guys. your search feature DOES NOT WORK. Needs redesigned! I tried to use it today. it's too hard. lol. there is NO easy way to direct it to evo's only.

You literally skipped right over this, it's on the first page of the forum. You wanna root your Evo? Donate to some of these people hard at work finding a solution. And before you ask about the youtube videos saying there's a method, it's a method that only works if you've previously rooted your phone and then unrooted for whatever reason.

Yes there is, I search the EVO dev and theme section quite often if I have a question, simply enter the section. And click on the search tab at the top, hell you can search a specific thread by going into it and using the same search tab. Anybody with a quarter of a clue and a couple minutes of forum time in their life can figure that out.
I would really like to run a stock phone with Gingerbread, without rooting or modding. I use my phone often for Netflix, and would love to watch Hulu+ as well. If I can force myself to give up my qwerty keyboard, I would like to know what phone would be worth switching to from the Epic and why you would recommend said phone. Thanks.

Hi all, I hope this is not the wrong forum to post in but here goes...
I just want to say thank you to everyone here at XDA. I have been creeping the forums for my epic 4g for the past year. I have tried many different roms and mods and had a lot of fun with it. I also got myself in quite a few binds and by using the search function i have managed to get myself out of them all.
Last night I got an epic 4g touch and I love it. First thing I did was come to XDA and see what was available for it. I flashed Syndicated ice and its great.
So in closing I probably wont post much after this but I just felt like everyone here needed a big thanks from me, so thanks!

First off let me apologize if this has been asked before but I have been searching through the threads but couldn't find anything.. my question is very simple and straight forward.. how can I make my 3G speed be faster then usual while running MIUI?
