face unlock for gb roms? - Samsung Epic 4G Touch

has anyone figured a way to incorporate face unlock for gb roms or do they only work for ics?

You could try this: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.facelock4appspro
Only the pro version supports using it as a lockscreen.
Here is a free one: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.vediket.facerecog

It would have to be 3rd party I believe as face unlock is built into the OS itself

So bascially an Android version of fraps.
Would be interesting to see one. But wouldn't it slow the phone to a crawl? Fraps does that even on a decent PC.
Maybe, but it would be good for educational purposes, like tutorials n stuff.

Sbeam and nfc

So I'm rooted with vanilla root box, and my friend has the s3 as well, stock unrooted however. I can beam him pics and apps, but can't get anything from him, just says beam failed.
Furthermore, what's the difference between sbeam and NFC?

Nobody knows anything on the subject? How odd...

So this is one of those topics nobody anywhere in XDA knows about? None of you use sbeam or NFC?

AOSP uses Android Beam. Stock uses SBeam ("groundbreaking" Samsung technology). Looks like SBeam isn't fully compatible with Android Beam.
NFC is Near Field Communcation. You can Google that one.
I know what it stands for, but what you're saying is NFC is the technology sending the data, but abeam is just the name of the protocol they use to utilize it?

[Q] Activation lock for sprint GS6?

is it possible to unlock this feature?
http://appleinsider.com/articles/13...h-alternative-to-apples-ios-7-activation-lock
From reading that it doesn't look like it is something you can activate, it looks more like a third party app that was not installed, but i could be wrong
